My friends and I enjoyed the musical, "Grease" and the food was excellent. However, we purchased a booth, thinking we might have a little more room.... not so. The booth was very small, so keep that in mind.
Still, it was one of the best experiences of the year!

The shows are good and the food is okay. The setup can be a bit wonky depending on your seat, but I would have no idea on how to improve it. My neck was a bit stiff sitting on the side of a booth.

The salads are premixed, so asking to not have olives for the Mediterranean salad is a no go.

For the price? It's a pretty good deal for a live show and a meal. I think I'd rather spend a bit more and get some higher quality food and a more show where I don't have to strain my neck.

The theater is well done - consistently great acting, interesting set design with the limited space. The food is OK. It is a place I would go with a group but not on a date. Decent value for the price. Views of the stage can get awkward at the tables, but groups of 4 can get a booth facing the stage.

LOVE LOVE LOVE CDT. Saw Momma Mia a number of times with my daughter and each time was blown away. Dinner is a little slow, unfortunately, but the production is top notch. Free parking with a large parking lot which is also a plus.

My wife and I saw Camelot. They performance was great. 5 stars there. The venue ought to rethink the seating, however. My seat was on the far right, very close to the stage, and faced nearly opposite the stage. Our table was to crammed to enable me to adjust my seat to comfortably watch the performance. 0 stars here, which brings down the overall score to 3 stars.

Uplifting musical and a tasty dinner. Great atmosphere. There are multiple theaters here and each area and the bar have different decor. Recommend you walk around. Newsies musical was toe tapping excitement with a talented cast. The bar has a decent variety of wines in addition to the usual fare. Wait staff were fast and charming. Amazing how they serve so many people so fast. While the wonton wrapped mozzarella sticks and Cesar salad were just ok, the chanhassen chicken and steak entrees were tasty. The carrot cake was a delicious dessert. Looking forward to returning. If you don't arrive early, front parking lot may be filled, but you can park for free in the ramp next door.

We had excellent seats to experience the showing of Holiday Inn for our 27th Wedding Anniversary. This was our very first time to experience this dinner theater. The show and actors were very talented and it provided for a wonderful evening. We were very impressed with the singing and dancing. Our evening really started off right with the dinner service. I had the Chicken Chanhassen and my wife had the top sirloin well prepared. We shared and found both meals very delicious. The caramel cheesecake was not very good so I would recommend something else for dessert - this was my only complaint about the food. Service was top notch. Our waiter Mike was excellent. We stayed at the nearby Chanhassen Country Inn. The box office provides a great hotel rate for a King Suite in a very charming hotel so in a way, we got a nice package that made for a memorable Anniversary.

Chanhassen will always have a special place in my heart. Good entertainment, food and service; however, there has been some recent changes to seating options. I loved the intimate feeling of sitting in a booth. It's the most comfortable, best view, no strangers... Four adults to a booth is crowded. We always ordered 3... today it shows I must purchase 4 tickets to get a booth. I will no longer be enjoying the shows at Chanhassen because of this. Call me a grump, but a 2 hour drive to sit uncomfortably through a show is not worth it to me. I'm not going to waste the $$ on an extra ticket/food no one will be enjoying. With that said, thanks for years of great shows Chanhassen!

The food is underwelming, but the show was fabulous. Newsies could no have been any better. Intimate setting. They really pack you in and server's have little room to move. Service was very friendly.

Went to see Mama Mia! Whole experience was wonderful and unforgettable! Got close parking, doors for seating opened precisely on time, dinner was very good, and the musical was top drawer. Show was full of energy and laughter from the audience! I know that we shall return again.

Just saw the Fabulous Armadillos in the Fireside Lounge. They were part of the Concert Series. This was a special show called "What's Going On - Songs of the Vietnam Era". The entire set was a showstopper from beginning to end. They deserved a bigger room. The seats in the lounge are small and too close to the stage. I was in row 3. Not complaining about my seat placement. It's a tight fit, I'm not a big person. Chanhassen has a gem with the Dinner Theater. Amy Adams as alumi, Prince has played there... many more icons!
