My wife and 6yo boy moved across the country from Florida to Washington. We stopped in here for lunch after a friend had recommended it. Wow! We were blown away! We got some sandwiches and they were absolutely fresh, delicious and big! I am still craving them 3 weeks later!!

Not only did we get lunch but we bought some great snacks for the road including elk pepperoni, buffalo salami, elk summer sausage, and various treats. All were delightful. I also purchased a really cool Montana travel wine tumbler and t-shirt. But the best thing ever is this amazing Montana Smoke Jumper hot sauce that the staff recommended. OMG! It's only been 3 weeks and I'm almost out! Thankfully I'm able to order most everything they offer from their website!

Finally, the staff was super helpful and curtious. They know their products and we're a big help guiding us through their large inventory of gifts. I'll be ordering from them often, for myself and for gifts!

Great lunch menu, great food! Awesome place to buy gifts for my out of state customers, so they too, can enjoy the taste of Montana. Elk salami, buffalo salami, cheeses, huckleberry items and much more! My customers loved their gift boxes!

Beer sausage (cold cuts) is awesome. Can't wait to try more...

Great sandwiches, very fast service, and for a large sub, a small sub a side and a drink was only 16 bucks. Very reasonable. Plus they have some neat stuff for sale. Highly recommend!

Chalet Market continues to be a gem in Billings. There are so many Subway and Jimmy John restaurants that it's easy to forget them. They do have a loyal following though because it's usually very busy. The Pickle Barrel is a big competitor but I prefer Chalet Market. And in my opinion they are much better than Topz. The only drawback is their tiny little location. I have driven by before and not stopped because their parking lot was full. But their lunches are outstanding and they have a lot of other Made in Montana goodies available.

So helpful and they even wrapped my gift and gave me a card totally complimentary. I will be back.

I just love Chalet Market. They are friendly, and accommodating and always deliver to us on time. We have used them forever. The French dips, the stuffed avocado with crab salad, I am hungry again. They don't skimp on the meat like other companies and they have great prices.

One of the few locally owned restaurants that offers incredible homemade soups and sandwiches, fast, helpful and courteous service and......they deliver! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Best turkey croissant sandwich in town by far!!!

Dont ever work for this lousy place . Their delivery van and cars are full of maintenance issues. They will hire you for one day and then next day terminate you with no reason . When you try to contact them and ask why you are ignored like you are not worth thier time, and good luck getting your check from them as well. Avoid this place if you are looking for a pt time job

Best French Dip in town! Ready for pick up in less than 10 minutes! Would highly recommend.

Very poor meat portions. I am eating a Roast Beef French Dip currently that literally has two small slices of meat. Will upload picture later. Good taste no meat... We use them for company lunches often and they are very hit or miss on meat.

My daughter brought me lunch today. She purchased the Chicken Salad Sub. It was delicious!! I can t speak for the service she received but the food was great!

I spend a lot of money at Chalet Market. I order lunch from them, at least, twice a week. $12-$15 per meal adds up quite fast. I would, without a doubt, recommend Chalet Market to anyone who hasn't been there. Simply for the fact that, yes, they do have great food.

Speaking of their food, though, I have to state that serving iceberg lettuce and charging $7.95 for an empty, non-nutritional food is robbery. Charging them extra for better greens is also robbery. Iceberg lettuce, quite literally, has no nutritional value. At all. You may as well replace that with shredded paper.

Suggestion? Why not charge an extra dollar for your salads and make all of them with mixed greens.

Recently, however, their staff is not paying attention to what people are ordering. My past few orders over the past month have not been what I ordered. Four times within one month, I have either had a meal voucher applied to my account or Chalet has refunded my orders. Four times in a month. That's once a week, and I wouldn't doubt that I am the only one experiencing this problem. That's a lot of money you guys are giving away for your employees poor attention to detail.

This is the food business. You are seeking to please people by feeding them. People know what they want and how they want it. Keeping the customer happy will guarantee that they continue to come back.

New owners, but same great food and Montana made products.

A local institution. They've got the best deli sandwiches in town, hands down.

On the flip side, their location is horrible. Don't do lunch here unless you've got ten minutes to spare trying to get out of the parking lot onto 24th.

The Italian sub is as good as it gets. Seriously the place spot in town for a sandwich. I used to eat here all the time in high school and 15 years later I'm still served the same great food at the same price. That's how you keep people coming back.

I ordered 4 sandwiches and ended up with only 2 that weren't even ours. They were not what I ordered. What am I supposed to do? This has never happened to me before.

I like their Big Sky Kettle Corn and Reuben Sandwiches. Have nice Kiosk in RRock Mall with Sausage gifts.

Good little sandwich shop. The food was great. However the price to portion is a little small. Otherwise we have visited a few times and always enjoy the atmosphere

This rating is soley on the only sandwich I order here. Their Turkey Club Crossant is the best trukey sandwich in Billings possibly the world! Get sprouts on it instead of lettuce, it is to die for!

I ordered a Reuben that was prepared in a microwave.

Had their special of half sandwich and cup of soup. I he soup was tomato basil. Delicious. Cup are more than usually get in bowl so very filling. Prices are about average. Small sitting area but not busy til getting ready to leave. Worth a visit.

Ordered a plain ham and Swiss and I get home to feed my son and there is mayo on it..thank God I check out food before I give it to him or I would be visiting the hospital cause of his food allergies..very disappointed.

Very disappointed with my last visit to Chalet Market. I ordered the Berrylicious Croissant sandwich and they made it as a sub. There was hardly any of the Raspberry jam on the sandwich and there was just entirely too much bread. It was awful. I had also tried to call my order in. When I called, however, at 2pm on Saturday, I let it ring for more than 3 minutes and no one answered. When I went into the store, it was not busy, there was one couple in the store, yet it took over 25 minutes to make 2 sandwiches. Chalet Market has been one of my favorite places to eat since I was in highschool. I don't think I will be eating there again though. I was so completely disappointed in the customer service and the food.

Best sandwich shop in Billings. I will continue to go there every chance I get. I like the special on white nuked for 20-30 seconds - they will do it for ya. Just ask em to heat it up, so worth it! Plus check out their awesome soups and other items. Nice gift buying place if you are traveling as well.

What happened to the broccoli cheese soup? No taste and watery. Always has been my favorite soup, but no more! Lost a weekly customer!

My mom and I have been coming here for lunch since I was little. We always have the French dips and the local items for sale in the front of the store. Truly a gem!

Let's be fair, they do make a great sandwich, but that's it. Way better than subway. Long wait times

Worked here all through high school. Live in Denver now and stop in every time we come back. That was back in the late 80s.

I love chalet market! The cream of broccoli is my favorite. I just don't understand why a soup and sandwhich place runs out of soup far before closing.

I liked the sandwich, I had the french dip.It was very yummy. The price is good and the size of the sandwich was a good size as well, I didnt like the chips though. That is just me though. The pickles were crispy and very yummy. I wish I had taken a pitcher of my sandwich though.

Lunch to go is always welcome from here. I love their pastrami sandwiches. They offer sausages including Elk and buffalo based made at their Bozeman/Manhattan facilities.

Good place for soup and a sandwich. Their gift shop is great for tourists looking for some montana souvenirs.
