Amazing buffet .... Lots of varieties ...staff is good...served as expected out of 5 star restaurant . Food is very tasty ....and very reasonable price

This was a beautiful hotel. I stayed there in 2011. Wonderful dishes, great view on backside.

Just your usual five star hotel. Nothing special. Heard their food was great, but to me it's just mediocre except their desserts. Their tiramisu is just superb.

Although they call them as 5 stars but actually you cant even expect 4 stars. very small halls with high prices. Food taste below average.

I have to say I really enjoyed The Kingsbury services until last week where I went there with my mother and asked the food and beverage manager Dilshan to recommend a restaurant for lunch. He recommended the seafood restaurant and instead of letting us choose what we wanted he just started ordering whatever he tought was going to be good. Unfortunately it turned out that it was not cooked at all the way we wanted. We were looking for a light meal but ended up having a very oily one. Scallops were deep fried, and the salmon salad was full of mayonnaise.

During the meal, we heard a waiter saying out loud "Do not put a discount on their bill" to another waiter. Now we never asked for a discount but hearing something like this in such a place is inappropriate and insulting!

I don't mind paying the price for something but when this was not what we wanted in the first place it is pretty disappointing. Even more so given the final bill. Your food and beverage manager is very unprofessional.

We are really disappointed and do not think we will ever come there again.

Went to have lunch buffet with friends. We called and try to do the reservation then they said can walking in. They have a good varieties. Nice view. Friendly staff. Very clean and tidy.

The Kingsbury Harbor Court has one of the best lunch buffets in SL. Huge selection. High-tea is also a good option here.

It was great. The buffet at the Harbour court was splendid. Ocean offers good seafood. Good place to dine!

I never stayed there but the sea food restaurant was just perfect.

My all time favourite Colombo city hotel. They kinda deliver value for money in their buffet and high tea... and the staff was very helpful and they quickly honered my request for surprise even without charging only drawbacks I see is not having ample space for parking if you trust the valley parking you are all good...

Five Star Hotel - There is a five star hotel. High security, well-trained staff, cleanliness and freshness in the rooms.

Can experience one of the best 5 star experience in Colombo. Food is great. Staff is well attainable even you are an in-house gust or event participant.
This place is also ideal to have meetings and official conferences as well. Can negotiate with management to have the best you want for the occasion.
Ample parking available at the back of the hotel.

Nice architect and a lot of restaurants to chose from. But beware of the bill, menus doesn't include the tax and service charges

A disappointing stay. My wife and I were here for 5 nights, and although the hotel is a nice, clean and impressive building, we found the facilities and certainly the service received was not up to standard.

Several basic things, like having clean towels in the room, were repeatedly mismanaged. When I complained to management they did attempt to resolve the issues, but not to my satisfaction, and there should not have been so many failings in the first place.

We could have saved money and stayed in a less renowned hotel, but I expected more from The Kingsbury, unfortunately it fell well short of 5 stars in my opinion.

We participated for a wedding. Excellent service, we enjoyed delicious foods including huge number of verify. Cordial service and very spaces car park available.

The greatest place to visit after covid 19 situation. They have taken enough care about to prevent such a pandemic to be happened again. I hope they will back to the normal routine much faster than other places.

Great banquet hall for celebrations and outings. Oceanic environment is very calm and it is even harder to believe that there is such a place in a busy town like colombo

Wow amazing experience had a lovely time at Kingsbury , fantastic food and beverages and the pool looks beautiful had a great time. the whole place looks luxurious and the deco is on point I love this place And one of the best hotels in the city. Highly recommended for wedding and high tea.

One of the Popular Hotels in Colombo over looking the Harbor and the Up Coming Colombo Port City. I would say they have the best Buffet in the Town with variety.

It was one of a the best days in my life. .. I booked the executive room in 9th floor. Check in time was quick and relaxing. We all Received a hot cup of tea. The nice welcome from the team was nice and warm. I had a quick introduction about the facilities and then a lovely lady walked us to the room. We even received an invitation for the happy time from 5 to 8 pm . Boy!! That was a great HAPPY time and I ended up having some black label as well as some red wine too with 3 plates of well served snacks..
Swimming pool time with my kids was fun, but still there were some repairs going on after the bombing.

Room.... I got one of the best Colombo view and partial sea view. I kept the window curtain open all night.
The really comforting bed was so inviting.
Breakfast was so filling because there were unlimited selections... you can taste the traditional Sri Lankan cousin too.
Team in the snack bar was super friendly...

Now that the entrance has the luggage scanner...it feels much safer now for most of the people.

The best hightea, best roof top bar and best beach bar in Colombo. They provide amazing service and make us feel ourselves comfortable as our own place. One of my favorite place in Colombo.
