Ceylon Intercontinental Hotel Colombo Reviews

We had our family dinner with two other families in this hotel in dececember 2014. Unfortunately our whole family had food poisoning. Kids are still being treated and this is such ashame for a hotel of high stars. Shame on you Kingsberry!
The hotel manager was saying he cant take any responsibility which was ridiculous!

Great Location,on Galle face close to all the happening places in Colombo, hotel ambience and service is good. All rooms have a partial view of the sea.

Amazing hotel. Rooms are well appointed. Beds are so comfortable. Restaurants are ok.

I love Kingsbury Baked Alaska.Furthermore they have wonderful flower arrangements.its gives a wonderful sea view as well.Hoping to visit again.

After much draining all our energy working with the staff we got our things done from the hotel. Communication is very poor and accountability is not there. Finally by the time the event started there was some support. Having a event at Kingsbury may not be the best idea.

A super hotel! Had a lovely room on the 9th floor- club lounge level but they are very strict on lounge timings which I feel can be a little flexible! Also on Sundays the breakfast is taken off at 10 am instead of 10:30 without proper information which is inconvenient! A great hotel but the new construction for the acquired sea project township has ruined the sea view! Convenient as it s just across the road from the Ministry of Crab and the great arcade there!

Good service vibrant place and above all its a lucky place all positive things happen

One of your staff members in front line talk me in rude way infront of others to wear mask while others also not having. Its missed since my kids are running away. But that member should be polite bcos he didn't insisted others. Very disappointed.

Place is great and service was exceptionally great.

Had a great lunch at kingsbury buffet. Many selections and food was great.

Never order for delivery from Kingsbury on festive seasons, they take orders above their capacity and are unable to deliver. Food was ordered at 12noon and now it s 2:30 and they don t seem to have prepared the food. Phones are not answered and customers don t know where the food is... poor show!

This is a 5* hotel in the city of Colombo and the hotel is unlike any other hotels which has restaurants, swimming pool and other facilities.

Was there in Colombo for two nights on a business trip and I stayed in a room on the 2nd floor. The property is nicely located in a clean posh area near the sea. The staff is nice and courteous and the food is also good

Huge selection of foods for buffet. They may be really good for a foreigners, but for most locals it lacks the extra spiciness we expect. Deserts were also lacking the extra sweetness as we locals expect. Ideally located in Colombo closer to the sea. Good place to hang out and have a drink too.

This is a five star hotel it is near to galle face!

Great hotel! I had their the best sleep ever. The pillows are amazing and the bads are great.

In dinner, there are plenty of dishes, each one is super tasty.

This hotel contains wedding hall facilities, room facilities and buffet facilities. Cakes of different flavours are available at the range of 2000-4000LKR.

Always a fan of honey beach club. It would be good to add some more food options to the menu. Their cakes are fantastic and The kings pub is lovely.

The kingsbury hotel is most beautyful hotel in colombo.fantastic area. I have attend wedding today. 1st of February 2021.

Up market accommodation with a great bar and restaurant up top.

There was a punched paper ball inside a piece of cake.and they didnt care about the complain....very poor service.one of the worst hotels in the city.

Gourmet station is the best... Good variety of cakes.

This is the one of best hotel in colombo ,try this. There is nothing bad at all to tell about this place.

The Kingsbury is one of best hotels in Colombo. Wonderful location and great ambiance. Highly recommended.

Very nice property with a beautiful rooftop restaurant.....Old architecture and the legacy back to 1878....
