Nice hotel! The room was very spacious. Great location too right in the heart of downtown.
Nice hotel! The room was very spacious. Great location too right in the heart of downtown.
Beautiful views, great accomodation, tasty breakfast, I have no complaints!
We stayed here for one night upon arriving in Vancouver, before setting off up the coast.
Staff are friendly and attentive. Our room was very big, clean and had tea and coffee facilities, fridge and safe.
We ate in the restraunt which was lovely. Food was good quality and reasonably priced, as were drinks.
Room was clean but very outdated needs some work. Shower didn't work well. Spa in the hotel was great. Resteraunt was delicious, expensive but given coupon at check in that made it more reasonably priced.
Very nice foyer, decent rooms great staff. Would like to see an update on the bathrooms.. straight shower rods and gym equipment are so late 20th century. Otherwise great value.
Been staying here for years! Amazing sized rooms and friendly staff
Worst Customer Experience Ever. Their night audit clerk Gordon rejected two guest check ins. Lied about being a manager and hung up very rudely over the phone. Being in the hotel industry, you need to have top notch customer service oriented staff. All the other hotels were booked. Our friends had to sleep out in a car because of their negligence and ego.
Nice hotel with spacious rooms in the center of the city.
awesome location right in the heart of the city. beautiful ronovations huge suites in red incredible spaniel sized balcony with amazing view
Very good price!
I have everything, but there's an emergency room nearby so I can hear emergency vehicles often. I have some dust.
We have our company functions here twice a year, and the staff is always friendly, professional and courteous! Food is quite good, and the managers are extremely accommodating. It is also always immaculately clean. Always a pleasure to visit!
I've stayed here many times in the past... But this time I was shocked. The building is in such disarray and needs lots of work. Old and dated.
I like the fact there is a high end spa located in the lobby area. Although, they did not carry the brand Jane Iredale, which bit a must for a very good Spa however, the rest of what they offer is very good products and licensed services.
Guests of the hotel get to use facilities that are are shared with the spa guests. Eucalyptus steam room. Awesome.
The hotel rooms: Initially it may look like the rooms are well kept and up to date, but upon better inspection you realize it is very dated and repairs or renovations are obvious.
Small washrooms in the rooms.
Great views out the windows overlooking the Church.
Staff are great. They are friendly, knowledgeable and fast.
You have to pay extra for parking, which has an attendant there so it is secure
Room is tired and had unpleasant smell. They sprayed some air freshener but that only combined with original smell to make it worse. Opened windows and it has slightly disapated. Not sure I'd stay here again with so much choice in Vancouver
Nice hotel with great views of the city. Only complaint was the elevators, which took forever because the majority weren't operational.
Very nice location. Excellent restaurant. Room was a little dated and smelled like a dog. Would have preferred a non pet room but I was led to believe there were no other rooms.
Excellent service from the bellhop to front desk and spa staff. Highly recommend the Century Plaza when staying in Vancouver.
Hotel is located in the city center. Spacious rooms. The service is in the dining room under every inspection
Unbelievable level of customer service, but not in a good way. Sean on the front desk literally threated to take his uniform off and fight my wife outside after she tried to explain to him that her room was booked and paid for by her company.
Have never experienced anything like this in my entire life and am still in shock.
I can say though that the bellman and the manager were nothing but lovely. Hopefully this is just a one off incident and the employee in question will no longer be working at the hotel, for everyone's sake.
I booked this hotel with only 1 hour's notice after seeing the horrible room and surroundings at the Budget inn Patricia Hotel and deciding I couldn't stay there. It was such a relief to come to the huge, roomy, clean hotel room here, with a little kitchenette, dining area and sofa. It isn't the cheapest hotel, but it is very worth it for the great rooms, good service, but most of all, FANTASTIC location. I'd definitely stay again. They do a great eggs Benedict room service breakfast, and the beds are the comfiest I've ever slept in.
30-storey hotel with spacious rooms that are somewhat dated.
Good breakfast and centrally located.
We were street-side so the view even from the 19th floor was fairly banal. The hotel was clean and quiet and the coffee shop in the lobby was very nice. Short walk to good food/drinks establishments. Professional staff. Parking was very run down and not nice or easy to use.
It s what I would call a basic hotel, it serves its purpose. Good service, good bed, good shower and good location. Carpets and decor are quite dated and there was nothing that was super impressive. However if you are looking for something reliable and that does the job, this is the hotel for you. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel restaurant is quite good too, we had breakfast everyday (not included) but quick meals, very decent meals at that and good service.
I enjoyed the eucalyptus steam room. Would have been nice if it was in a room where my husband could sit with me and not in the change rooms. Pool was okay. Not hotub. Bed was comfy and room was clean. Staff was nice and helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze. Had some troubles with the toilet and when it over flowed the person who came to fix it, didnt bother cleaning up, so I had too. But other then that, would stay again. View from our room was the old church, which I enjoyed too.
Close to St. Paul's Hospital. Rooms are clean and comfortable, though showing their age a bit. Staff are welcoming. Quick room service.
Hotel is very central of much of the city, makes it easy to walk to many different parts of the town. Although, it is about a 15 minute walk from either of the two closest Sky train stations. Hotel is very clean and has a nice coffee shop in the lobby. Indoor pool is a little dull looking in the basement of the hotel and a bit hidden.
Room quite OK, quite dated we were there two days as a stopover. Hotel is next to a hospital, even though we were on the 22nd floor it was quite noisy. For the rest, top location, everything is within walking distance. From the airport it was 35 dollars by taxi, that was not too bad for us. Three stars because of the price / quality. For the internet addict, WiFi that was good @ 35mbit / s so Netflix etc goes well.
The room was tired and dirty had to ask to change rooms. Only plus side was restaurant, reception area and staff lovely. Manager was very apologetic over the condition of the room and was immediately on it when and I asked for an alternative room.
Loved it all. Awesome room. Amazing food. Outstanding spa. Friendly and helpful staff. Loved this non-chain property. Close to what I needed and my room had an awesome view. Coffee shop is outstanding.
I love it, there is a nice view towards the pier from my room, Enel airport picks you up in a limousine! Has refrigerator, toaster, dishes, tv, heating, cutlery, etcetc
Great location, friendly staff, dated room with poor temperature control and a bit noisy.
Great view from the hotel. Friendly service. Building is a bit old, but decently maintained by the authorities.
Staff are amazing. Very kind and thoughtful. Restaurant was good. Scallops were fantastic. Good Happy Hour. Rooms are clean and a bit outdated ( at least ours was). Overall a good stay.
There for a wedding of some very wonderful people. The food was impeccable, service astounding. The staff were efficient in their work.
Very comfortable its facilities, very attentive staff.
The staff were amazing as was the breakfast that was included in our package our only complaint was the bed was beyond rock hard, my wife actually slept on the couch during our 2 day stay because it was more comfortable than the bed. We were looking forward to making this our go to hotel since we will be travelling to vancouver monthly but because of the firmness of the beds we've had to look elsewhere. Everything else was wonderful and the view was amazing.
All was fantastic, women handling was extra special, love it
I walked into the hotel with two friends after we had met for some drinks, and then my friends were turned away by security. They said: "no visitors after 8pm". This is completely unacceptable; I am paying for this room and then I'm being told I can't have visitors. Everything else about this hotel has been great, but I will not be staying here again for this reason alone. I've never encountered this problem anywhere else.
Great place to stay, the hotel had an oven, full fridge, and microwave. Easily could have stayed here for a week and wouldn't have had to worry about eating meals out every night. Beds were comfy too
Friendly service, very accommodating, great view and ok rooms
Location on Burrard and close to Robson St shops is great however our stay was ruined right at check-in by 'Doug'. We booked several rooms and he blamed us for booking incorrectly when he couldn't find our reservation. After 20 min of checking, we were the ones that noticed that Doug pulled up the wrong reservation under another name that doesn't even remotely resemble our own. No apologies from Doug when he eventually realized his error. Then when we went up to our room, our key cards didn't work. The AC in our room broke. The list goes on... We complained to the manager and did receive an apology and a discount to our rate. Management was also surprised since Doug is a 15 yr veteran of the hotel but he did not follow protocol and asked for the guest's ID upon check-in.
Thank goodness that the location is great and the size of the rooms are family-sized with a kitchenette. But No free breakfast and older amenities.
The restaurant serves a nice breakfast, but is sightly pricey. Not a place for everyday breakfast, but a good one for occasional visits. The stay is good mostly because of the pricing and location - bang in the heart of downtown, close to grocery stores, gym etc. Breakfast is complimentary and that's an added bonus.
Located in the heart of Vancouver, so you can walk or bike through downtown and Stanley Park.
The location is great and the views from the room are awesome. The room itself was dated. Stayed in a king suite and the bed was hard and sheets are low quality, compared to Hotel Vancouver that I stayed at last week.
View from 25th floor
Clean and comfortable rooms. Within walking distance to a lot of popular attractions and Robson Street. Coffee shop is so convenient having it in the building and I loved the shampoo and conditioner. Pool is a bit dated but the kids didn't mind!!
Beautiful and big room. Very clean. Access to the pool and gym. Very well located. For the price it was very good.
Really nice hotel in a great location in downtown Vancouver. About a 10 minute walk from the Skytrain from the airport. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, modern and spacious. Would stay here again if in Vancouver.
Staff is amazing. In town on a mission for my family and their management listened. Helped me out tremendously with a good rate and good service. The room is amazing too.
So far so good. They let us in early which was wicked helpful to them go around the city. The view is great! And they even give perks for being green with not changing sheets every day
Good service. Conveniently located from downtown Vancouver. The view from the 28th floor is a stunner.
Did a 2 day course in one of the ballrooms. No special price on rooms for event and we watched a rat running along pipes in ceiling during the course. I personally wouldn't be staying here. Staff was nice, though when asking front desk where this course was being held nobody could direct us.
Comfortable hotel well located for the city center. Very nice view from the rooms.
Room little soundproofed, the hotel is next to a clinic, you can hear ambulances all night long.
Restaurant and elevator not enough, too small for the size of the hotel.
Just stopped there to use the bathroom. In the short time there, I found the staff to not be very friendly and the bathroom to be quite dirty.
Hotel staff very friendly, polite and responsive to whatever needs you may put before them. Rooms are very clean and beds comfortable. It may have been because the weather was somewhat cool but unlike other hotels I have stayed at the room service staff never put the air conditioning on. The window was left open and I could hear the traffic on the Main Street below. The hotel is located on the Main Street next to a hospital.
I would stay here again and I would also recommend it to anyone looking for a good hotel.
Great all around experiece.
clean rooms
large room ( stayed in the suite)
and very helpful staff
Clean. Downtown convenience but get ready for big city noise - non-stop construction and ambulances. Air conditioner wasn't working so had to deal with noise through open windows. Hotel is a little rough on the edges, needs facelift. Overall good experience.
The entrance is beautiful. Restore it too. The rooms are a mix of modern and old. The pool is found in the basement and looks terrible. The gym is also in the basement, but it is very well equipped. By cons I'll not be easy to find.
I like the views from my room.I am giving 4stars because the wifi wasn t working in my room only in living area.
Great location, walking distance from the tourist high lights, beach, shopping, restaurants etc. Friendly staff thank you for the great service specially Kash for all your great touring advices. The room is a mini house with full kitchen, living room+balcony, bedroom & separate washroom. I was lucky to be upgraded to floor 22 with nice view.
Cheap accomodation option in downtown. Stayed on the 5th floor, facing the hospital. Outdated room and amenities and the sound of ambulances woke me up at night. Close to attractions and shopping. Would be a fantastic place to stay if rooms go under some desperately needed renovations.
