A somewhat peculiar museum due to its so creepy facade. It opens its doors very late and they are almost always under construction. Despite all that, it is a very beautiful museum that deserves to be visited at least once even if you do not enter.

Truly amazing space, definitely something to visit to view the latest in art as well as its conception. Expect to see big names in the art world. As an artist myself, its the perfect place to come to be inspired. Remember to leave your bags and coats in the coatroom before your tour.

Do look for a tiny boulangerie outside. The museum opens only at 11am so a great baguette helps while waiting.

Helpful staff. I have always managed to find what I was looking for in this library, especially since at the moment the compulsory reservation means that I no longer have to wait for two hours to enter.

Great collection of modern art from the turn of the Century to the present day, buy tickets online to avoid queues, the entrance lanes are rediculously long and unnecessary when there are no queues as you end up walking 1/2 way round the building for no apparent reason - apart from that a good afternoon to catch up with modern art

Majestic, elegant in a noisy human environment. Interesting exhibitions, an exciting library with an impressive wealth. The escalator that allows you to see Paris by extracting noise is a dream all by itself. Architecture, despite the weight of the habit, remains very inventive.

George Pompidou center is just an amazing high-tech architecture integrated in the middle of a heritage are, imagined by the great architects Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers. It's a lovely place to visit for architecture and patrimony lover, you can buy the ticket once there, and maybe you can get a discount. There is different kind of exposition, temporary and permanent, I really suggest this establishment.

It has some noteworthy stuff but it looks like what happens when millenials try to impress.... half of the mechanical stairways weren t working. Also, the first three floors were closed, not to mention that it is a black eye on a beautiful city, I mean really who was the genius who put an oversized warehouse in the middle of Paris? The collection is not great by any standards.... I m glad I went on the first Sunday of the month and it was free if you don t have the time just skip this altogether.....

Take a security inspection in front of you, take the escalator on the left, and then use the escalator outside to climb up (4th floor) to enter.

There were many works that were difficult for adults to understand, but this museum, which is filled with contemporary art, is worth more than a glance, an unpleasant glance, or a glimpse to know the depth and breadth of art.
I think it was a great stimulus for my first-year middle school child.

Yayoi Kusama's work was also exhibited.

I will visit again if I have the opportunity.

It is well divided by four generations, so it would be fun to watch while studying contemporary art history. The installation artist exhibition, which was currently a special exhibition on 2020.7, was okay. The view is also good. Due to corona, you must make a reservation in advance!

We have visited the permanent exhibition (free on first Sunday/month but very long queue) and enjoyed the pieces of art very much. The building is not very beautiful but very notable and the architectural concept makes sense. From the top of the building you have a great view over the roofs of Paris.

Pompidou's special architectural appearance is unique in Paris with a strong European flavor. Its modern architecture is undoubtedly matched with the works of many modern artists in the museum! The works exhibited in the museum are also very rich, even if it is very fast to browse, it takes more than an hour to finish watching!

This is a world renowned museum. I saw the Cao Fei exhibition twice. Her movie Nova was sad and beautiful. Adult tickets are 14 euros and that price gets you access to all the ex exhibitions. The book shop is the best for anyone interested in art. Enjoy

I do not mean modern art, but I find that this construction is an enclave not exactly exciting in a context of breathtaking imperial beauties. The exhibits of modern "art" contained in it, then, ....... I regret the cost of the ticket.

Museum of modern and contemporary art in Paris, it contains several famous artists (Matisse, Picasso) but the part of contemporary art is very, say, peculiar .... Only worth it if you really like this kind of art.

We took in the view of the sun setting over Paris at George's. We enjoyed the outside grounds during daylight and wish we had more time to actually go inside and see the exhibits. Next time I'll visit the Louvre and Pompidou in the same day to appreciate the juxtaposition of the traditional vs. modern natures of those two museums.

If you already did a lot of ancient art and culture museums in Paris then it's good to stop by centre Pompidou. A lot of modern art is displayed here. Although a lot of people won't like it, it certainly gives you a new view on art.

How anyone can vote this other than 5* escapes me. Normally I'd say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but if someone doesn't like this venue.. they are just incorrect.

You have to visit this wonderful gallery

For those who are not interested in art but want to see something
It is a recommended art museum.

Even though it is a very old building, it is an art museum that attracts people's attention with its unique design without awkward appearance.
The exterior is a must see daytime as well as night view.

I haven't seen it, but the view of Paris at sunset is pretty.
If the time is right, go to the end of the elevator and I think the view of Paris will be good

The exhibits have a lot of modern art, so
I think it is an art museum where people who are not interested in art can have fun.
(I recommend Tate Modern in the UK)

And not all floors are exhibit floors, bookstores, free library cafes, etc.
It s nice to have a place to rest.
It's also good to be around and go to rest.

The street in Mare district near Pompidou has pretty streets and good restaurants.
It's also a good choice to see the surroundings.

One of the best museums of modern art in the world. Both the permanent collection and the temporary exhibitions are of the highest quality. Boltanski is chilling. Photography always has a special place. Art shops, books and objects with design, cafeteria for a break. Book between 2-3 hours to get to know it, there are several galleries on different floors.

There is a wonderful library inside Pompidou. Which will be on 2nd and 3rd floor respectively. All the literature and books are only in french but good part is you can connect to the internet so if u just want to a place to sit and study, then this will be a perfect place. Highly recommended.

Outstanding. Was very lucky to have dora maar extra exhibit at time of our visit. Better than quai d orsay, enjoyed more than the crowded louvre. Also unpublished great view of city from tpp floor mezzanine. If you want to splurge awesome restaurant (not the snack bar) upstairs. Saw so many paintings, so many artists i had only seen glimpses of in traveling shows. So many missing pieces i had never seen. Would go back. Plan half day at minimum.
