I had a pleasant experience. Front staff were nice and thorough. Explained what to expect during the test. Overnight technicians were great at explaining things to me and the doctor that followed up seemed to know his stuff.

The doctor's here are very nice and informed about ways to bring patients to optimum health. The problem is the rude, incompetent receptionist, who only on the most rare occasions answers the phone - and when she does is extremely abrupt and rude - never returns vm messages- and ignores faxes from pharmacies, leaving patients without needed medications for weeks at a time. She must be reported and removed from that position because she is jeopardizing the health of patients which is very harmful. Please report her if you are a patient.

If you care about how friendly the receptionist is...

If you care about how friendly the receptionist is, or how long you have to wait for an appointment (like some of these other posts), then this might not be the place for you. I've never experienced rudeness from the receptionist but I have experienced long waits. The reason the wait is long, is that Dr. Thirlwell is a thorough and patient caregiver, who won't push you out at the end of the session because you are out of time. You will wait because she takes the time to care. If you are most interested in fixing your sleep - this place, or at least Dr. Thirlwell, is 5 stars. I have been to other terrible sleep clinics that just push drugs like zopiclone on you, and you'll never get better. My sleep is remarkably better since my treatment with Dr. Thirlwell, I couldn't recommend her more. I am off the drugs, and living a healthier life.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Absolutely horrendous service/business practices. My doctor scheduled a sleep study for me with MRC sleep and snore that sent me to this clinic. My time was 9pm.

I finally find it at 9:11pm and call the number on the door for the technician to let me in. Some dude answers and I tell him I have a study tonight and he asks for my name and surname which I give. He then tells me I'm not scheduled for tonight. I tell him that there must be some mistake as I was sent to this clinic on the 2nd. He asks for me to hold while he checks again because according to him, they changed the roster...whilst waiting, I decide to take the lift upstairs myselfand sort this out face-to-face.

I end the call as I figure I could just call back. I get to the door of the clinic and call and all I get is voicemail even though I literally just spoke to him less than a minute prior.

If you guys don't want to work and attend to clients, please shut down and stop asking us to allow you to waste our time.

Seems like a SALES SCAM.

Seems like a SALES SCAM.
Testing service is a 8/10. The Tech is excellent.
After the sleep study, is where the problem arises.
They make u buy a machines for 800$ to 2000$.
Or rent it for over 150$ a month with a deposit of 400$.
The machine u rent is not as good as the actual test machine, so the results may not be accurate.
The Machine is the only solution provided.
This is more like a sales office.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would! Do NOT go here. This is not a place you want to be!

I found this clinic to be extremely unprofessional. It's more like a sales office.

Let's start with the admin staff. They're incredibly incompetent. One lady called me to confirm my follow up appointment. I confirmed with her on the phone that I would be there. On the day of my appointment, the SAME LADY calls me and tells me that my appointment is this morning, am I still coming? I said yes, I confirmed with you yesterday, don't you remember? And she replies, "I don't know." How can you not know?

Now, the technician that oversaw my test was very unprofessional. He couldn t speak English very well and he did not explain the testing procedure. It was hard to understand him and he was very abrupt. He also did not seem to know what he was doing, leading me to question whether he was even appropriately licensed to perform these tests.

When I came for my follow-up appointment, the doctor s assistant used his personal iPhone flashlight to check my tonsils, twice! I am not a medical professional but I have been to a number of Doctor s offices in my life and none of them (including the doctor s assistants ) have ever used a cell phone flashlight as a medical tool.

The actual doctor was completely useless. He just confirmed what his "assistant" said and without looking at my results, urged me to purchase the CPAP machine through them. I declined. It felt like they were trying to sell me on this equipment.

I said I was not interested in using the machine at all. I said I would rather discuss the next steps of treatment with my doctor. They asked if they could book a follow up appointment in three months. I declined. I do not feel comfortable going back there.

If you can, have your doctor refer you to a hospital! This is not a good place at all!

First of all the main receptionist is rude and not professional at all.. Be prepared to wait for over an hour for an 1 or 2:15 appointment. Especially, if you have to go back to work or have other appointments/errands. They are extremely slow and lack good communication skills. I have to be going to them often to find out why I am waiting so long.

Frustrated Client.

I never write reviews, but it needs to be said.

I never write reviews, but it needs to be said.

I ve had nothing but bad customer service, rude employees and a doctor who, first barely sees you, then prescribed me an outrageously expensive medication that I told him I couldn t afford to then, when I need a new one, to send in the wrong one again.
When I called the office about this, the doctor was unable to speak to me, nor was anyone able to provide me any actual assistance besides saying they will, pass on the message and have the doctor call me back. That was over a week ago now and I ve had no follow up.
They have left me hanging, completely unconcerned about leaving a patient with a new diagnosis, with no medication to help.

Here is my opinion: Be aware of being referred there to Dr. Angelica Wagner. A. Wagner claims to be a Neuroscientist but there are no credentials on her card for that. She's a Naturopath, not a psychologist, not a psychiatrist. She is not MD. She tends to scare people, so they would sign up for her treatment which costs $1500. She may say that something is very wrong with your heart, liver or brain and it's urgent, urgent. The treatment is a cocktail of oils application, light therapy, some electric devices attached to patients' ears etc., given in the course of three sessions. Should you experience a placebo effect, good for you. She claims that treatment is "so advanced" and effect is permanent. She says she's not taking everyone, but she'll take you anyway. You'll need to wait a lot of time to schedule your second and third appointment. It seems that once money's paid, interest lost. She's conveniently located just a floor below the sleep clinic and possibly totally depends on the clinic personnel's referrals. "Soul cleansing" is a part of her treatment too. That part may turn into a rude invasion into your intimate life. Again, she's neither psychologist nor psychiatrist. Be aware

Horrible place. The receptionist here is one of the rudest people I ve ever met. My very first appointment that I arrived to, I was told as I walked in that the doctor is running an hour and a half late due to meetings. I had to work after so this was not acceptable. Secondly, no one called to remind me of my appointment when I specifically made the receptionist aware that I would require a reminder a week before due to some personal issues going on on my life at the time. They called to remind me the DAY of my appointment saying to be there at 7pm. When I told them I could not make that, nor did I receive any reminders (I offered to send them my official phone records from Rogers) the receptionist harassed me on the phone, yelling at me and talking over me. Eventually I asked to speak to someone else that said 3 words to me: okay, fine, goodbye, and then promptly hung up. Today they called me to book another appointment and the SAME receptionist started yelling at me again on the phone, saying it s all my fault, I m careless, etc before snapping out of it and saying so when s a good time for your next appointment? I had no problems with my doctor during the initial appointment but their reception needs a lot of work.

I am annoyed that there is no 0 option.

I am annoyed that there is no 0 option.

I didn't even get to see Dr. Sharma! The admin staff is EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT.

I had a referral from my GP in February. I had ONE message from them to call back, no details given. After umpteen calls (most going straight to voicemail) and several messages later; either I got a voicemail or I finally connect to an admin telling me I missed an appointment. How without actually speaking to me, I am not sure, btw, they finally were available when I left a very frustrated message with urgency.

It turned out that (out of ONE referral) they had me under 2 names. After fruitless arguing and lack of ownance to this error with the recept. I let this go as a one off. I had my chart moved from a previous (very good clinic) sleep clinic.

Went over in person, saw the (or at least one of two) recept., I told her I tried to call because I was lost, right to vm, every, time. She seemed absent minded (not only at this point, but in general, including the fax process to transfer my chart) and saw the phone was seemingly OFF THE HOOK, so she corrected this.

At work I miss ONE CALL+VOICEMAIL from her (just to call back, no details at all). Since April, I have been calling over a score times with multiple messages without a reply.

We now are at late July. Again, only my last, frustrated and finger-pointing voicemail gets answered. I get a message, I call back, LO! NOW SHE PICKS UP. I explain to her the above. She tells me I missed an appointment! Again, how, in the world, am I to get this info, without it being actually GIVEN to me???

Every frustrating detail above that I relate to her, was met defensively, she was ABSOLUTELY NON APOLOGETIC! "I'm trying to help you book an appointment." was the last I heard before I hung up.

Never, ever, ever. Will deal with this clinic, again.

My apologies to Dr. Sharma, as I've read mostly wonderful experiences. But your clinic *seriously* needs to do some house-cleaning.

I've been a patient at this office for a few years and have never had an issue. It is hard to get through on the phone but my experiences have been great. It is a specialist office and the wait time can be long but it well worth it. I have been on a cpap for 2 years and my quality of sleep is much better. I was hesitant at first to be on it but when I spoke with Dr. Sharma, he assured my it would be of benefit. He was right! Sleep has improved and my quality of life. Thanks guys.

Fair experience, could be better but I would expect similar experiences elsewhere. Had to take the test twice and both had similar experiences

You arrive at 9pm, fill out a bunch of paperwork and are given a cubicle size room that has a bed and some magazines. The technician swings by and asks you when do you normally sleep - this puts you in the order of who gets set up first so if you sleep late, likely you'll be set up last. You're set up with tons of wires and sticky paste from head to toe and go through the test. I was abruptly woken up at around 7am, technician strips off all the wires and you're given a towel to wash up and remove all the white paste. You fill out more paperwork and can leave on your own.

Felt like there could be more communication with the technician throughout the experience but it was very much a doctors appointment, in and out you go

Afterwards the doctor was very informative and helpful to give you your diagnosis. He helped answer any question and made it easy to understand

Terrible experience. How can you study someone's sleep effectively when you prevent them from sleeping soundly. Also, they provide no resources on clean up in the morning - they just rip out all the wires and tell you to leave with incredibly sticky white gel all over you.
