Center Parcs Europe Review

Very nice location. In the middle of the dunes of Zandvoort and right next to the DTM racetrack. Unfortunately, the houses are a bit old. Each house has an open fireplace. Unfortunately I personally find the price-performance ratio a bit too high. Therefore only 3 stars

Huisje is zeker gedateerd. Maar wel schoon, wel waren ze het lakenpakket vergeten te leveren. Een belletje en het was zo gepiep.
Het nieuwe wildwaterbaan is superleuk. Wel een klein zwembad vergeleken met andere cp s. Maar genoeg toezicht.
Orry show was leuk gedaan met veel enthousiasme. Ondanks het slecht weer, gelukkig zaten we vrij dichtbij de marketdome. Hebben de kids zich prima vermaakt.

Beautiful cottage completely renewed very neat and clean.

Also war unser 4.Besuch in einem Center Park.
Im Vergleich zu den anderen ist dieser Park leider komplett veraltert und am Wochenende sind viele Partymacher im Park !!!



Preise beim Essen im Park viel zu teuer !!!

Positiv das freundliche Personal und der Weg zum Strand ist nur 10 min entfernt.
Werden diesen Park definitiv nicht wieder besuchen...

Nice park, swimming paradise and close to the beach and circuit. A bit dated, but they are working on it now (without nuisance). Well left the house;).

Spacious area with beach access. The not renovated 6er houses are o. K. Unfortunately, neither in the rooms nor bathroom, hooks for hanging towels. Kitchen little storage space for food at 6 people. Dogs on the beach only from 19 clock and until 9 o'clock in the morning. Beware of the canal cruises in Amsterdam u. Harlem. DOGS MAY NOT COME.

Nice houses, however, aquamundo is a disappointment.

Although we like to come here the houses are enormously outdated, luckily they are finally being renovated! There was also no cleaning and we had leakage. The pool is very nice as well as the other activities neatly arranged. Take the nuisance from the circuit into account if the wind is wrong. Dinner at the park itself is not recommended, lunch is fine.
Enjoyment if you are a beach lover with the beach you walk to.

Are you serious?? Can I get money if I stay longer than 1 day? Once and never again. But do not forget the 5% return if you buy one of these decrepit shambles. Last junk this shop should be closed has nothing to do with vacation

Great swimming pools (lanes, fun pool and toddler pool) houses are a little old though.

The renewed VIP bungalows are awesome. Beautiful bathroom with whirlpool and infrared sauna. The park is on the edge of Zandvoort. But you are quickly in the center and on the beach.

Ingecheckt en ons huisje bekeken. Er waren enorm veel gebreken. Het kinderbedje was stuk. De tussendeur kon niet sluiten, wel handig dat dit ook echt kan met een kind van 2 jaar. Een stoel was kapot aan de onderzijde het stof van 20 jaar lang hing eruit.

Dan de schoonmaak, de vloer plakte van de viezigheid. De tafel zat vol vlekken deze hebben we gelijk schoon moeten maken aangezien we toch gelijk wilde eten. Het bestek en servies goed zat vol etensresten. Deze eerst maar eens schoon gemaakt. De tuin lag vol sigarettenpeuken en bierdopjes. De zitting van de kinderstoel was bedekt met as en sigarettenpeuken.

Kortom een erg vies en vervallen huisje.

Na een telefoontje aan de receptie gedaan te hebben worden de problemen gelijk verholpen. Dat is natuurlijk erg fijn.

Maar een lekker ontspannen weekend beginnen met zelf de tafel en het bestek en serviesgoed schoon te moeten maken is toch wel gek.

was very nice just super annoying that the street lighting did not work in some places I used the flashlight of my cell to not fall on my face. The cottages are not really nice and clean and the bedding (pillow and mattress) was full of stains.
The subtropical swimming paradise has really become super after the renovation.

Terrible! You don't want this! Mice in my house. And hot water does not do it up! Unfriendly staff. Not used to CP. I come to the CP houses 6 to 7 times a year, but never here again! PS don't go for the cinema bath. No movie seen and closed at 3 p.m.

Very good swimming pool. A high price, but it offers several heated pools, indoors and outdoors, a heated competition pool, and many play options for children. And of course there is a slide. The setting is cozy with lots of atmosphere, and there is enough room for many visitors. In addition: lockers are included with the ticket (lockers 1 to 400). Otherwise a coin.

We definitely go swimming here more often.

The price and the accommodations are an impertinence. The two stars are there for the cleanliness in the whole area, which was absolutely fine

The park benefits from its good location near Amsterdam (to be reached by train) and near the great beach of Zandvoort. We had a cottage for 4 people, which wasn't particularly cheap for a week. This hut was very clean, but very old and shabby. There was also a whiff of old cigarette smoke in the air upon arrival. The toilet smelled extremely, the ceiling in the bathroom was leaky and it dripped from the ceiling when it rained. The mattresses on the beds were very soft and lying through.
The Aqua Mundo was usually way too full, hardly any chairs or loungers, and here too it rained from the roof. There are too few and too small lockers and no real showers for the many people. Overall, the bathroom made a rather dingy impression to many people. The food there is bad and overpriced.
The food in the restaurant outside was okay but also very expensive. Likewise the supermarket. Well sorted but very expensive.
The park should be car-free, but almost no one adhered to it, there are by far not enough parking spaces outside due to the (very necessary) renovation work in the Aqua Mundo.
Once we wanted to play mini golf, we had already paid ( 7.50 per person !!). However, there was dog excrement on the first two lanes, which was not removed even after repeated requests.
Our conclusion: a very disappointing, yet expensive vacation. We will certainly never book a Center Park again, especially not in Zandvoort.

Nothing to do with the Center Parcs in France: the swimming pool in the center is very small, the benglows are dilapidated and everything in the park is chargeable

A small center park, but still good. The park is in a great location. You are in two minutes on the long beach and Zandvoort has everything you need. By train it is 20 minutes. in Amsterdam. Totally genius.

Everything very, very old !!! I guess, built in the 80s and not overhauled since then. Allegedly, the park is closed in the fall for 1 year and completely renovated. In my view, you should demolish everything.

The only good thing about this place is that the price is good and that it"s close to the beach. So we actually got robbed. The security over there is not that good. The rooms are full of insects. I came back to see my bed filled with insects. If they're able to fix these, then maybe i'll reconsider.

Just very cozy and a nice swimming pool, all under the dome, the courtyard with the supermarket etc. It is very hot there

Never before in the center parcs, so no comparison possible. Have spent our honeymoon here and we loved it. Hotel room + breakfast buffet with sea view / beach was just wonderful. Great deals for kids and when times are bad weather. We will gladly come back.

Everything looks worn, fireplace does not pull, heating is not enough for cold days.
Beds are ok and it was clean. Therefore two stars.

The house was run down the system we rotted very disappointed not even when we complained we got a replacement or now a voucher ......

Wonderfully close to the sea !! Nice houses. Good supermarket and pizzeria in the park!

Great area for short trips or longer stay. About 5 minutes walk to the beach :) very nice and friendly staff. The petting zoo is great for the little ones :) & big;) :)

Bei Ankunft waren wir uns nicht sicher wo wir hin mussten. Ausgeschildert war der Marketdome, der Check-in jedoch Hotel (anderes Parkende).

The stay was ... okay. Of course you put as a park operator construction and renovation work in the off season. You have to expect that as a visitor, but currently in about 1/4 of the Parcs extensively hammered, drilled and sawn. And that of "nice" guest workers after work with their vehicles to park all roads and turning options, since they are just housed in the park, but obviously not like all other visitors are held to use the car parking space. That was annoying. Furthermore, the cabinet system did not work with our key. Ringing at the front desk was necessary at each entrance. Really annoying was the only half functional gas stove. This could only be operated with matches. If you wanted to operate two plates at the same time, you had to be very careful not to burn your fingers. The rest of the decor was okay for a resort. Nevertheless, the unpleasant impressions predominate.

Do not come here if you want to have fun. Dirty shop. It's dirty, too.

Dogs are also welcome

Not really a place to go with very young children, there is little for them. For slightly older children it is probably a bit more fun.

We had a VIP house in the immediate vicinity of Aqua Mundo ..
Sauna and whirlpool were the absolute highlight.
We will definitely come back again.

Nice park with nice facilities. Unfortunately, you can see that this park needs to be renewed. There is a lot of maintenance that you mainly see in the swimming pool. Peeling paint etc. The 25 meter bath is very dirty you just see pieces floating through the pool. Even in the morning when it has been able to filter overnight. Furthermore, the houses are sometimes very impractical. The kitchen is very poorly finished. You see kit edges of 2 cm. The seats are very uncomfortable.

Absolutely old. No care of the outdoor area. The rooms were very small and poorly thought out. Far too few sockets. Bed feet are broken off when putting them on (10-year-old child 30kg). The fireplace had to be turned on with extra purchased wood. No deduction (choking hazard). All in all, very dissatisfied and definitely not recommended. Stay away from the store ... Terrible !!!!

Old houses, poorly maintained and unfortunately not clean. Pizzas from 14 euros almost without ingredients. The dome is beautiful.

Good, nothing more, nothing less. The staff was partly very friendly, partly grumpy. The cleaning of the rooms, we had in the hotel quartered, not quite the usual standard. The hotel lives from the proximity to the beautiful North Sea beach with its numerous beach's location. The swimming pool is fine and offers something for everyone. The breakfast is ok, the dinner, we had booked half board, in our opinion not the supposed standard. The price / performance ratio is okay overall. Here and there, but some renovations should soon be tackled.

The park is right on a beautiful large beach. The little house we were in (VIP) at the last minute price was perfect to just switch off. Petrol stations and shops such as Albert Hjein are nearby. Also really nice for families there. I can definitely recommend it.

The location and atmosphere are great, nothing to say! But the first house completely dirty, full of glass and only a pillow for 2 adults and 1 child. The 2nd house was provided as a free upgrade. Of course it was better, but here too dirt, glass and ant plague. This was, however, eliminated the next evening. The swimming pool was okay, but also here all dated and very dirty. Unfortunately it was disappointing. We had hoped for more.

Beautiful countryside, you can see different animals and birds. Pedestrian, bicycle and bicycle lanes.

Our stay was very disappointing, we had booked a VIP house ... the price-performance ratio was not given. The interior decoration is ridiculous and very outdated.
The complex itself is in a good location but also very outdated. The green space is not really green ...
The staff is EXTREMELY UNFRIENDLY.
The range of entertainment is almost ridiculous.

As a German holidaymaker, we had the feeling that we were not welcome.

Very bad place to make a vacancy dirty house and very dirty rooms and beds were full of patches, the floor wasn't even washed. Bath and toilet in an unacceptable situation. I wish i could cancel the rest of our vacancy but unfortunately you must pay in advance and there is no refund. I do not suggest at all.

Price not justified, and not recommended for party groups, or you made it until 10 p.m., because from there you have to stay 'calm' in the house.

The cottages are old and worn out. Also our house was not cleaned properly before our visit.

For now the houses are disappointing in terms of how beautiful and clean they are. However, they will be adjusted, making it a lot better in the future.

Despite Corona, (almost) all activities are available, praise to the park staff. The house was ok for the demands, the environment is great, the beach can be reached in 15 minutes on foot. The only negative points are that the playground is very small compared to other Center Parcs and the constant engine noise from the neighboring racetrack. But CenterParcs cannot do anything about that

The bungalow was very worn, which was not so bad. Bad was the dirt. The doors, light switches, drainage pipes, taps e.g. were dust-glued. I have not seen anything like it. We complained directly and then the worst was cleaned, but a thorough cleaning inside and outside is long overdue. The existing 30 - 40 bikes were all broken, so that you could not borrow one. Also the ATM was broken. The prices in the small supermarket completely overpriced. Too bad, because such a bad rating would not be necessary and with a little effort to avoid.

Renovated and top again. The white water slide is especially recommended :-)

Location on the beach super and unique! But what gives Center Parks the nice "tropical" feeling is completely missing here. Uninviting and atmospheric Market Dome, swimming pool not much special, houses close together. I heard that they are going to completely renovate this park, which is an incredibly good choice (and really necessary).

Location great, bungalows not clean. Experience not great as the boiler was broken so no hot water for 3 days. No apology, just "we understand how frustrating this may be". I'm sure you do. End if the day if you want a carefree enjoyable holiday, don't go to centre parcs. Cars drive to fast onsite, dangerous for kids.

Well cared for Center Parcs. Houses are fine and are not too old, as you do in some parks.

Top location with friendly staff, everything else is old and in poor to poor condition. Most things are broken, weathered, distorted or something else is wrong with it. In our opinion, the (high) prices can only be explained by the location. Swimming pool is small and also dated. During our stay a whitewater course was constructed. The renovation of the entire park including swimming pool seems the only solution. For m3nsen who come there to stay on the circuit, bet is of course fine. Were many eastern neighbors with special cars, was very nice to see.

Nice Center Parcs in a good location in Zandvoort. Everything is a bit aged but well kept. Perfect for a vacation with small kids!

We were there with class (12 class fachabi). Rooms were adequate, but a lot of expensive. Almost all jobs in the park are for toddlers or to pay. We were not allowed to go to the badabteil from school.
The signs should be better because everything looks the same and sometimes takes a very long time to find his way back to his house. And the most annoying are the lights in front of the front door through the small windows over the doors everywhere penetrate. It is always relatively bright in the room at night.
2 stars but, because it is at least clean and relatively spacious.

My girlfriend and I were there in the so-called Aqua Mundo. After 15 minutes, boredom arose because there were no children except for two children. At a price of 24.50 for 2 people a more than bitter disappointment. The website promised fun in numerous swimming pools of it was unfortunately nothing to remember. You can definitely save the money! Would like to forgive a half star but that only for the entrance of more promises than then offered.

We stayed from December 25th to November 29th in a 6 person house for 290 incl. Daily free entry to the swimming pool as well as 2x activity vouchers. So, in terms of price, just awesome. I mean you spend a short vacation with a family of friends with the children and pay 145 per family and get that !? Just great!
According to the Internet, we booked a newly renovated house which we found exactly as in the pictures, which made us very happy.
Everything was very clean on arrival.

But you also notice from some corners that the park is getting on in years.
On the one hand in the swimming pool there are a few corners that could be redone and playgrounds.

Unfortunately, this park doesn't have enough. When we came out of the swimming pool in the evening, the path was so dark and poorly lit that we had to be careful not to step into a puddle. You are used to better things from any "cheap" campsite. Didn't quite understand why you leave a holiday park so dark.

The beach is a 5-10 minute walk away.
However, we first had to look for the exit towards the beach.
There was a gate that was locked, which we did not understand because there was a path towards the gate and it would have been nice if it had been open because we had strollers with us.
Instead, we had to use a small exit where stairs were in front and had to carry the stroller up.

At the edge of the park there is a lot of rubbish in the bushes. Would look nicer if someone would take care that the park stays clean even at sock corners.
Yes ... It's stupid to dig something like that out of a bush, but you just have to do the work.
