Center Parcs Europe Review

Large part is outdated but it is still a wonderful swimming pool!

We booked a house with VIP facilities and it is clean and everything works (for example coffee maker, sauna, shower, ...).
Very nice alternatives to the sea are also numerous such as the swimming pool with slides, tennis courts, Sqash, trampoline park etc. Good alternative to hot and full Mallorca. You just have to look at the B7chen, that you do not live too close to the racetrack otherwise it could get loud, at least during the day.

Old location ... houses and faculties do not look fantastic

Brilliant location near the beach. Houses are getting old. Restaurants are a bit overpriced. Outside you can eat better and cheaper.

The park is gradually being renovated. The location is ideal near the beach and the train station. Good train connections to Haarlem, Amsterdam and the Ruhr area.

What dated Isa. Do not put a crate of beer outside that is stolen happened to us do not come back here.

A really nice center park. Everything is very well maintained and the facility is really nice. The location is very close to the beach and you can quickly reach the nearest places / cities such as Haarlem or Amsterdam. About 10 minutes from the complex there is an outstanding nature reserve with a lake where you can swim. Really nice . The pool in this center park is not big but the basic things like slides, small wave pool etc. are there. The houses in the complex have everything you need.
Parking is more than enough at the entrance to Centerpark.

We had a cottage for 4 people.
The cottage was ok but a bit dated and a bit worn here and there.
Service and shop are super.
Nice environment but the racing circuit nearby is still disturbing.
Make sure to use the breakfast service because it is excellent.

Old plant. Service great!
Only the feces of the animals is everywhere in the complex and the apartment gardens, this is not made, which is annoying.

Did not stay there but the park is amazingly beautiful and it can only be enjoyable to stay in this area.

That is also my opinion that the whole park has gotten old and the usurious prices that is not. The nicest thing is that one has to pay the doctors immediately because they do not accept the EU hospital card. The sea is really nice that compensates almost everything. We do NOT go here to go on vacation

We had a wonderful weekend at Center Parcs Zandvoort. The park has a beautiful location, very close to the beach. There are fun things to do at the park and in the area. That makes this park a great vacation spot. Unfortunately, the entire park is quite outdated. The interior of the cottages is very old-fashioned and the appearance is hard to find. Fortunately we had a very clean house. Everything we needed was there, and it also worked. But maintenance is desperately needed. For example, the glass of the door was broken and there was a strong urine smell in the toilet that could not be driven out (probably pulled into the joints, because the bathroom and the whole house were cleaned very nicely). The pool is not very luxurious like we are used to from Center Parcs, but we were able to swim with our baby. The sea, a 5-minute walk from your bed (we were lucky that we were given cottage 52, right at the bottom of the stairs to the beach) is amazing! The supermarket and restaurants are fine but very pricey, but of course you have the choice to go out for food / groceries outside the park. Especially in terms of location, this park is highly recommended with the beach, the Amsterdam Waterleidingduinen and the city of Haarlem a stone's throw away, but if Center Parcs would renovate the houses, refurbish them and make them more up-to-date, it would really be Be a 5-star worthy holiday. What may also be said: the staff is super friendly! You are helped well everywhere, you are friendly and you can count on everyone's smile. No lack of service!

In general centre Parcs are great. So much to do for everyone in the family with lots of space. This one unfortunately was a little out dated and expensive for what they offer. They did have everything we needed though. Reception staff were More

Good enough, but don't expect any luxury. We stayed in a 6p comfort cottage and we knew it'd be pretty basic, but we didn't expect to find that the place wasn't really cleaned at all (still marks from cups of coffee on the tables, counter top; hairs from previous guests in the bathroom, fingerprints on glasses and dirty dishes in the cupboards) but there were also some rudimentary items missing like a frying pan, a fridge that suits 6 people.. We had 2 shelves with a tiny door and a mini freezer - for 6 people that is not adequate. Location makes up for a lot though and the deer that carelessly amble through your backyard do make up for a lot!

The house was not clean. The decor very old. Far too few sockets.

Zandvoort is absolutely worth the trip. You can really relax on the Dutch Riviera. The beach is awesome. A lot of great beach bars. However, the accommodations at the Center Parc are pretty old. Partly it smells funny. But it is clean. As I said everything is quite old and not visually the eye-catcher ... but cheap

What an old and dirty and bad enzzzzzzzz park of centerparcs. For that price you expect something reasonable to good. And what a dangerous play equipment with adhesive tape together. Terrible is still a good word

The service and communication is disgusting, very unhelpful and deliberately obstructive. Would not recommend.

Not centerparcs worthy of this park. Outdated and heavily neglected. House is incredibly poorly maintained. Almost all furniture was broken and / or sagged. High chair cracks in the footrest very unsafe. Ceiling leaves the paint off. Several such lamps broken. The hall and the outdoor light at the front door so you in the dark, come home in the evening. Park lighting is dramatically poor. I think working at most 25% of the lighting in the park, the rest is broken off or will you really do not feel safe when walking across the park. Swimming pool also looks very shabby and very dated. Eating out in the grill restaurant is also not recommended. The food is not grilled but comes from the oven making your chicken fillet look white and unpalatable and the pepper on the skewer was still raw. The whole thing was also lukewarm and all that for centerparcs prices. Really outrageous. I can go on and on, but in short, never again Zandvoort park for me.

I run out of words to describe how good this place really is. The staff are helpful and very friendly the lesiure center is great, aqua cinema is blissfull as was the outdoor pool i love this place with a passion and will deffinatly return.

Eight years ago, the park was already at the limit of bearable. Today in 2018 he is an impertinence. Dirty, shabby, and ancient.

Every expensive paid break is too long. And now the unfashionable and dilapidated shacks are to be sold for expensive money. The old swimming pool obviously does its job, but how much longer? Otherwise the complex offers nothing but expensive bowling and trampoline. The pedestrian to reach beautiful North Sea is free, but that's known as the entire coast in Holland. There are plenty of alternatives.

Dirty house. VIP cottage is certainly not. Some basic items are missing in my view. Sandwichevice and location is good but everything is said.

We liked it very much. Everything was clean. Food in the restaurant super. The only thing that did not quite fit, supposedly car-free but in our opinion there were too many cars in the park.

A dilapidated park, housing obviously never renovated since the opening of the center, even the little furniture is vintage! Another problem is that there is no concealment of the windows of the rooms, only fine curtains. Complicated in summer when it is daylight before 7am.
The water park is there too old, not very clean.
The environment would be nice if there was a racetrack right next door ...
The whole could deserve two stars if the price corresponded to the poor benefits but no one pays for the image Center Parcs without having the level of service which is quite shameful.

Now that everything has been renovated, it is again a beautiful park by the sea.

The Swimming area is very Bad. It is dirty, very cold and needs a lot of repair. Never again. Also very expensive!

Old stuff dirty houses, worn-out furniture .. just like I was 30 years ago. I was in time and stayed with grandma.

It is a poorly maintained park at various points. For a park that is so busy, this can be much better organized. It's about really simple things like: a lick of paint at the lighthouse in the "kids harbor", and rotten posts along the way. Broken fencing and houses that must pass for "VIP" which, for example, have a shower curtain, which sits against the water jets of the rain shower in the bath (condition for being a VIP house), so that wet curtain sticks to your body during showering ... it doesn't really have a 'Verry Important Person' feeling. The toilet seat is loose on the pot, so there is a risk that your skin will come between the seat and the pot during the toilet visit .... again no VIP feeling ..., the holder for the toilet roll and the hook for the towel are seated very loose .... the couch is missing a part of the frame (broken off) so it has sagged. The floor is downright dirty. After a day playing on the floor, our child's feet are litterally dark brown ... and then the channels on the TV are also in an order that nobody thinks: (npo1, ziggo sport, npo2 ziggo sport1, Npo3, zigo theme channel etc ...)
Then on the day of departure there is a lady messing around in the storeroom at 8 am (it turns out that she literally flickers the towels for the next visitor in the storeroom they are in plastic bags but still) That feeling again ... and 9 am a man is peeking inside. Who, when he is noticed, suddenly pulls on the terrace furniture "because they come to mow like that ...." we feel rushed on a morning that is already so busy. I.v.m. departure. (Center parcs may contact us, we were in the weekend of June 16, 2017 in cottage 190.)

We had a renovated 4 person house for three. On arrival it was clean and as booked. Nothing was missing, I particularly liked the number of dishes / cutlery, you didn't have to run the dishwashers every day to have a drink. Otherwise toaster, coffee maker, oven, everything was there. Only the few storage options in the bathroom were a bit annoying. The park was very quiet, not dirtier than other parks in Holland and the staff super friendly! The children's farm, which is open until 4:30 p.m., closed the door in front of us at 4:05 p.m. Too bad. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the train station and 15 to the city. The beach can be reached in 5 minutes, depending on where you have the house. I think we will be back!

House in which we are has been renovated, has become very beautiful. Pool is also renovated. Nice lazy river. Nice park, great location.

Great location. Look of the houses - well, not so nice. Very loud at the weekend. Really everything you have to bring with you, I do not know from other facilities. Had a large ant street across the living room and kitchen.

The "new" houses are fine. The service is in need of improvement. The price-performance ratio is moderate. Another visit here will not be made, even if the beach will compensate, as the renovation of the houses in the park will continue for some time!

Super had a good time there, get some new things installed now.

Very clean and tidy. The park is already a bit old. On some corners missing sockets. The swimming pool is great for big and small. (In the NL, the seahorse does not count as a free-swimmer). The two playgrounds are unfortunately not so nice for toddlers. However, on the beach is a nice public. The little petting zoo is very cute.

Love Center Parcs! This one is a bit dated, but right by the ocean and a national park. Great for cycling!

Is a very good place to make holidays with family and friends

We have been here for 4 years - a total of 3 times a year and this time it was a disaster! Unfriendly staff at the front desk- we wanted to talk to the manager because at some point, we are 2 weeks here and you will be treated like that? And that as a friends member who leave so much money? No thanks. Manager refused to let us come in from reception & Whatsapp service "was not able" to talk to the manager. There were 5 cars in front of our house - 1 week long, although this yellow note you should get out but still stood there and we had to walk in the heavy rain through the garden to get to our house. Thursday evening, we asked nicely if we are allowed to drive in the car for a short time to pack the bags, brutally "No, we are a car-free park!" There are 5 cars without authorization there is full of itch like pants! We should not hire and tomorrow morning on the departure day 10:00 clock our suitcases in the car do that of course all departures and again thousands of cars in the Center Parc is does not matter! The main thing a motorist is let in and bettert with about 40 km past us! Even every hotel is cheaper and recommended than the Center Parc 2019 in June! We will not be back definitely!

Never stayed at Center Parcs before. The concept is ideal with small children. Everything is around hands, petting zoo in the park, swimming pool and plenty of dining options. Staff very friendly. The disadvantage for us was that the park was being renovated, which detracted from the atmosphere. Anyway. March is ideal to do this instead of the high season. Houses and the park look further dated so luckily it is being renovated now. Inside already seemed partly modernized. Only the beds then not; we were 6 adults and 1 child. All 6 back complaints after the first night. Furthermore, had a great stay!

Want to relax? Then definitely go to Center Parcs Zandvoort!

Pleasant park close to the sea !!! we had a 4 person VIP cabin, so the sandwiches that came in the morning for breakfast were nicely stored away in the mountain cabin so that no neighbors will take them away .. it was certainly quiet very spacious rooms and large seat !!

Not what I would call VIP at all!!! The Rain shower wasn t even plumbed in!!! Only two electrical sockets in the kitchen for all the appliances!!! Not good. Still waiting for someone to contact me about it - very poor, wouldn t recommend it!

The bungalows are not nice the park itself is rather run down everything outdated Wi-Fi costs extra and not too short. Not good on the whole

Prices are typical centerparcs (and Holland prices), so quite expensive. Striking here that the quality of the food left much to be desired! A cocktail for 7.50 was totally watery and the dinner in the market restaurant was under all clean. Tasted everything for ready sauces / desserts and potato products were not through and the meat tough!
The advertised Beachfachtory with children Indoorspileplatz is worn and opens only at 16:00, so you will not get anything to drink there before. Moreover, it is not in Marketdome but 10 minutes away Centerparcs-HOTEL !! As well as the restaurant! In the rain I do not want to have to go over there!
The swimming pool is completely sufficient in size and in two areas. There are slides for the children, an outdoor pool, whirlpool and a wave pool. However, it opens at 10:00, which was quite late for us with a small child.
The Kids Program (mini-Disco Parade) is a pure marketing program. It is Spilezeug in peer pressure to the children ("for only 2 euros") sold and then you go a "parade" through the Marketdome and the shops so that the children the parents afterwards with Einfaltungs desires really annoying !!
The park itself is beautifully laid out and everything else was to our satisfaction. Technical defects such as TV did not work, high chair broken etc were immediately fixed. For us was stupid that the stairs to the top was not child-proofed by a grid. I would have expected that after the last Centerparcs holidays!

Very nice place to go on vacation. The houses are being modernized we were beautiful in a modernized house but when we had a day of heavy rain, water got into the electronics. The fuse went out and we had no electricity and no heating. Unfortunately it happened at 22 o'clock and no electrician came there until the next one.
