Me and my boyfriend went for Halloweekends yesterday and it was so disappointing! We pulled into Cedar Point traffic at 1:30PM and left the park at 12PM. In this time frame, we rode only 4 rides. The park was ridiculously packed. We could hardly even walk through crowds, it was very stressful. We waited 45 minutes for concession food. The Power Tower was a 2.5 hour wait, while the sign indicated just a 35 minute wait. Even the bathrooms had lines. I am a Platinum Pass holder but will not be renewing this year due to this experience. It's a shame, I have been visiting the park on Halloweekends for years and have never experienced anything like it. It's not worth driving 5hrs to ride only 4 rides. Vacations should not be this stressful. They really need to control the park capacity.

Misrepresented "Lakeview cabins". No view of lake. "Private" entrance for cabin renters doesn't exist. It's a map to the back entrance. Walking a mile at 8am to get the peanuts breakfast included with our package is a joke. No way to drive to/park near it. Waterpark that we paid for closes at 6pm in the middle of the summer??? Lame

We had an amazing time! Only downfall is that it was the 1st halloweekends and very very busy. Prices was too high for the amount of time u had to wait for the big coasters. We was only able to ride 2 big coasters and 3 smaller coasters in almost 12 hrs. The fast pass lines was also long. I feel the super fast pass is just a rip off. One fast pass was sufficient

The rides are still amazing and fun. The lines are still extremely slow! The bathrooms were not clean and they were smelly as well. The food was good and hot. Plenty of beverage plans to take advantage of. We were caught in a storm and entered a building marked STORM SHELTER and were told we HAD TO GET OUT GET OUT WE ARE NOT OPENED YET. We all stayed regardless of the way we were being treated by staff!! Simply not the Cedar Point i have loved for years!

We love Cedar point and have been here several times in the past however I called at 9 AM this morning to inquire about all rides working. The lady explained that all rides are up and running. No problems.

Several rides were down. Big disappointment

Bathrooms are awful and stink, we are pass holders and 3 weeks into the season the lines for beverages and food are horrible, not to mention the inflated prices. Staff are clueless, however polite and always say sorry for not knowing information or errors and time wasting occurring. New features added to the part are honestly worthless they aren't interactive. I'm not sure what the bmx/skateboard thing is but the employees working/entertaining on it are extreamly dramatic and eccentric. It really doesn't fit in where it's located and clogs up foot traffic from people looking at it trying to figure out what it is in the monster truck area. 3 weeks in a row we have had issues with our entrance passes and drink passes and had to wait in guest services each week for roughly 30 minutes to fix the issues weekly, which is extremely inconvenient. There is never any compensation for the aggravation and time loss just a whoops sorry.

THE BEST ROLLER COSTER PARK BY FAR! I highly recommend staying in the local hotel to get the early park access. Spent three days in the whole park and the fast pass is a must have for anyone who is crazy about riding.

The park should be enter at your own risk. The constant hold up of the wiping down of the rides, 20 minutes, for a 90 second ride is ridiculous. The security constantly confronting people if his or her masks slips below the nose. Very over priced. Went with a group of nearly 30 people, that's a lot of money for their draconian measures! So many of the rides closed. They should measure children before you enter the line instead of waiting in line 40 minutes only to be told child is not tall enough! 1/4 inch! It's hard for a three year old to wear a mask! Just a bunch of total bs!

Place is fun. The first time we came they shut down Raptor after nearly a 3hr long wait so it was frustrating. But this time we got to ride it!! Aaaand I ended up with neck pain! Lol, it's fun but too many violent turns just not my thing anymore. Then we decided to try our luck with the dragster. It was closed last time we were here but today was early in the day and it wasn't that windy so we we're hoping it was open. And to our surprise it was! Unfortunately, following trend, they closed it just about 10 people short of riding it. Something mechanical that wasn't sending the cart all the way up. So we ended up going to the tamer rides. Still had fun. But know that lines here are incredibly long, around 2:30 to 3 hours long...on average. There's an app that you can download to get live wait times but it seems there's really, really bad reception there.
Also, there's between 15-20 pokestops and about 5 gyms ;)

Amazing top rated coasters you won't find at any other theme parks! Cedar Fair has done a really great job with the park, especially deciding to build steel vengeance! What a ride! Been to many theme parks but this park is fun for all ages and has a great variety in coasters.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Don't come unless you like dying from Coronavirus.

Absolutely no social distancing is enforced, no markers on the ground to separate people, and about a third of patrons are not wearing a mask.

Also they do not disinfect the rides after each turn! (Bring your own wipes)

Cedar Point must not want anyone to return in the future!

I decided to spend my Saturday here because on their website it was promised to be at 20% capacity and have safety measures in place.

I have been here before the pandemic, and this feels like full capacity. They also implemented a ticket system for the big coasters that decreases social distancing, and increases the time spent in large crowds. Nice!

Not sure what I was expecting from Ohio though honestly

One of a my favorite amusement parks. Word of advice, buy the tickets and parking online. Will get a discount. If you have a cedar Fair park near you. You might want to get a platinum pass. Cheaper in the long run. Lockers are expensive at the waterpark. Can not take plastic all day cups on all the rides. They want you to put it in a locker and charge you a additional fee.

I love Cedar Point and the rollercoasters! I will say to lock your phone up especially if you go on their newest coaster and consider putting your watch away too as the coaster jerked around so much and my watch was victim to my riding experience.

What a great park. Many times the hype of a place ...

What a great park. Many times the hype of a place sets the bar too high. Not the case at Cedar Point. There can be no building up this place too much. Beautiful setting, thrills around every corner, coasters are amazing and the themes throughout are fantastic.

The only down side (but totally expected) is the lines for the rides. That being said what do you expect? Every episode of coaster wars, or shows like that feature this parks record breaking coasters. It's the most visited amusement park in America. Lines are to be expected. However this park does a great job of managing the lines. While they are long they feel as though they are constantly moving. Line attendants do a great job of making sure trains are full and loading Corrals aren't overloaded. This makes a huge difference in wait time. I absolutely can't stand the concept of fast passes, fast lane tickets or flash passes. That being said if you can justify the expense of them as well as the looks you get from other riders in cue this may be the park to use one at. However, it just isn't a great value to this rider in particular. Not with how well attendants do at moving lines. For example, on Maverick we waited an hour and fifteen minutes for our first ride. Fast pass holders had a 45 minute wait for the same experience. You be the judge. It's just not worth it to me to wait a half hour less and double my expense to go to the park.

On the other hand. The dining pass is amazing. Well worth the expense. There are no shortage of restaurant options and the lines are excellent. A little wait but not bad. You can eat in the park every 90 minutes with the dining pass. For four people we bought two passes and split entrees all day. We left feeling overwhelmed by the volume of food we ate.

The bottom line is if you are thinking about visiting the greatest park for thrill seekers in North America don't delay. You will not be disappointed.

Cedar point used to just be a coaster park. Fun, unless you have young kids. Then you are doing tons of spinny rides and you are lucky to fit on with your kid. The costers are really fun, don't get me wrong, but when your family is split up in ages it can be a challenge. They now have installed a giant play area that kids can climb. Lots of fun! They have some hammocks adults can lay in while they watch around the area. Sadly several are already broken in this new area. A great place to take a break with your young kids. They also have put in a nice sit down restaurant. I feel like they are really trying to Branch out in a few areas to have things for people who aren't giant coasters buffs for one reason or another and add nice family areas. They also have these rafts you can pull around not too far from the climbing area. I'd love to see a few more "rides" like this, that involve more physical activity and less sitting around.

Watch your money. My daughter gave a 50 dollar bill at pretzel place by the Magnum. She was short changed. They said she gave a 20.00. I know for a fact they took her money because she only had a 50 that her elderly grandma gave her.

Haunted houses could be a bit better...more entertainment while waiting in line for a start. Cedar point is typically a creative place..put some of that creative energy into taking the scare factor up a bit (meaning have some more settings other than just people jumping out at you). Each haunted house is kinda same old drill..walk thru people jump out at ya. Gets old. On another note the cedar point App is awesome for the emap with walking directions directly to the attraction complete with surprisingly accurate wait times posted for each attraction. First time I have been here in 8 years and the app was a cool new enhancement to my trip. I snapped that pic of what I thought was the best newer attraction, the 301 foot tall windseeker. Smooth smooth ride and an awesome view of all the local surroundings.

Overall I had a great experience at cedar point. If you are a larger size I would recommend trying on the sample seats, so you won't have to wait in line and get turned around. To save money I would buy tickets online and or get a 2 day pass. When you buy online you save more and add parking with your tickets or it will be $20 a day. I notice you can have re entry just get your hand stamped when leaving.

It was a pretty nice time until I lost my phone while riding the Magnum XL200. You definitely need to put your phone down somewhere before you go on that ride. But the lost and found was really helpful and shipped my phone back.

Cedar Point should do a better job of letting people know that if you're at all overweight there is a good chance you will not fit on some of the rides. And I'm not talking about grotesquely overweight either. I don't need an extra seat or even a seat belt extension on an airplane but I still didn't fit on many of the roller coasters at Cedar Point. If this had been better publicized I wouldn't have spent thousands of dollars on flights, hotel reservations for a week at Breakers Resort, wild card passes, and fast lane passes. I could have gone to a park that is more accommodating.

We did a week at Disney when I was much heavier than I am now and I fit on every ride.

Cedar Point is my favorite amusement park of all time.
I never went to Disneyland or Disneyworld, however I've been to Six Flags.
Six Flags is cool all around, but it does not have anywhere near the amount of high adrenaline rides.

Tickets are kind of expensive, but you can usually find a deal from Banks, or even coupons.

Some of the best roller coasters in the world are here at Cedar Point.

We are from Michigan so we aren't that far away, but we don't mind the 3-hour drive to Cedar Point.

Bring your own water, and snacks because everything there is expensive.

If you are considering going to Cedar Point, consider no more. You will absolutely love it and it is a great life experience.

I rate Cedar Point a 9.0 out of 10.
Only because of the price of admission, and the price of foods and drinks.

Cedar point is still amazing after all these years. I have some awesome childhood and teenage memories here, and the experience today is even better. Went during a very busy halloweekends day from about 3pm til midnight; fast lane was definitely worth the money as it allowed us to experience the coasters with plenty of time to enjoy the other festivities.

So disappointed with the park s solutions to pro...

So disappointed with the park s solutions to providing good time during the pandemic period. First of all, the Access Pass to the most thrilling rides is a TERRIBLE idea for the way it is being setup. I am not even going explain why, I am sure most people will know what I am talking about. Why can t I buy the Access Pass online anyway? If a time frame is sold out, at least I know what rides I am left with instead of stressing out to get in time to get the pass and then to be in time to get on the ride! How are we suppose to relax when the only thing we worry about is to make it . You won t make to all three big coasters anyway - a brutal setup, a game the park plays with its visitors and if you don t know the rules of this game, you WILL WASTE your money and your time. If not for the wonderful company I was with, it would be a great disappointment.

This was my last time going to Cedar Point. Never ever go there. Such a poor experience and waste of the entire day. Feels bad for kids and older people. Open to close and rode only one major and one minor roller coasters. Waiting in lane for 2.5 -3 hrs to ride less than a minute ride? Nah, thanks.
You will be able to ride only once or max twice if you are lucky to get ONE pass of the big-four . Those big-four passes are very limited and available all at the same time, 12pm and 4:30pm. So with a big luck and queuing on the pass lane for 2 hours you will get only one pass. You will hardly get one pass (because they are limited) and you won t get any other passes to the rest of roller-coasters.
The major roller coasters are being fixed or in maintenance way very often.
And you still pay the full price of the ticket.
With all respect to covid regulations, they make you keep safe 6ft distance anteriorly and posteriorly but no covid laterally across the row bars. No covid between your friends and relatives. No covid for musicians and performers.

So what isn't terrible about this place. To start, the security at the gate basically stole my wife's item off her keys and then states we could either take the item back to the car or they'll keep it which we took that as we get it back on our way out. But as we left the park they kept denying they had said that and even when we went to the police station who said they had to give it back the park security still said no. We believe the security guard that checked us onto the park stole our item. This trip to the "worlds best amusement park" was by far the worst. If anyone from put of state wants to go on a vacation I would say please pick a different place.

Time flies when you're having fun, in my case a whole day turned into what seems to be just a couple minutes.

Unfortunately the park does have its downsides like long wait times for the most popular rides (to be expected) and a few of the workers that I encountered were rude and clearly didnt care about their job.

Overall I give 5 stars because even though I listed some bad aspects of the park, talking with family and meeting new people in the long wait for a ride and then joking later about the disgruntled workers are what I remember the most.

Oh, and the coasters are the best around, beautiful scenery and no sudden jerks and bumps.

Stop reading reviews of the park and just go, it's one of the best experiences you can enjoy.

Nothing to do with the park.

Nothing to do with the park.

Who ever is reading this from Cedar Point, get your customer service lines in order.

20 minute phone call, transferred 5 times and put on hold for 18 out of 20 minutes.

I had one question about the cancellation policy for Gold VIP tours. I m trying to spend potentially $2000 for a family of four to enjoy a day at the park. It should not be this hard to get one question answered and I certainly should not be transferred to the same department three times.

Ultimately the last lady said that no one available knew the answer. And her recommendation was to send me to a reps voicemail to ask there. Cancellation policies should be common knowledge, especially in the group sales/marketing department!

Figure this out.

I've never been anywhere with coasters as good as Cedar Point. Lines can be long, but I'm glad they released an app with wait times. Going once a year is perfect for me to get that bottom of the stomach feeling. Halloweekends is a fun time, but it's noticeably colder on the coasters! Steel Vengeance was certainly worth the wait and Millennium Force is a favorite!

Oh lord, i had a blast there, i only got to ride 4 rides in one day, each line was about 2 hours or more. Not to mention it was raining and i got wet in most of the locations i was at. The Millennium is amazing and the view from the top will definately scare you due to the river being right beside you and thats all you will see up 300 feet high im pretty sure it was.

Worst day ever at a theme park. The rides were set...

Worst day ever at a theme park. The rides were set up purposely so you could only ride a few roller coasters the whole day. Four of the rides required "passes" that were only given out at certain times and you could not get on these rides without them" This was not mentioned when we bought our tickets. It is 3:52 and we have been here almost 4 hours and have still not been on a ride yet. Now the ride we were in line to get on "broke down" and we may miss a ride we had another pass for because of this. The pass times are specific and make it so you cant even go on rides between pass times without missing a ride you have a pass for. All of the non-pass rides have huge lines because no one can get on the other rides. I will honestly not be back at cedar point or any other cedar fair owned parks for years to come because im so angry. Other rides are broken down and the people giving out the passes are telling passerbys to just take a pass for a souvenir if they dont want to ride it. I will honestly not be back and was planning on coming back this year with my family. This is by far the worst experience ive ever had at a theme park and was deliberately caused by the use of these passes which made absolutely no sense. Steel Vengeance has been running with empty cars for hours because nobody has a pass
