Of course, it's an amazing park. However, the fast pass concept is very sad. All kids want to get through the line quickly but only the ones who had the money to pay the additional large fee can jump the line. It seems like Cedar Point could be happy with the price of admission and give all kids an equal experience.

I love CP however the check ins for the main ride make it impossible to ride them. Therefore you re stuck with the secondary rides that are 2 decades old...... I understand covid, however if you have reservations you may need a limit that is more appropriate..... 6 hours later only one ride ridden........ and I m still in line for my second. Impossible to have fun. Only gave five stars because growing up I have always loved it! But this experience is terrible.
This was my first time and I honestly enjoyed it thoroughly. I was very thankful that I was able to ride everything. I'm a bit more round than others and Cedar Point rides are not very forgiving. There are test seats in front of every attraction though - if you are all at concerned, use them! The employees were very helpful in using these and made me feel more comfortable.
Cedar point in general is an excellent park for roller coasters! Most of the park was clean and facilities were in working order. Price point is extremely high. Food and drink extremely high. If I had to choose 1 thing to avoid, it would be the mac and cheese place, $15 for a loaded mac and cheese that sucked! I took 3 bites and pitched the rest.
It was windy and a bit rainy so some of the rides were closed, but it was a fun experience. We ate at one of the eateries it was very good the service was good and friendly. I had a great time like I always do when I go to Ceder Point. I will definitely return!!
Best theme park in the country rate rides super clean environment competitive pricing great places to stay if you're staying multiple days helpful and polite young people take care of this theme park to the best caliber I've seen at amusement parks and I've been to theme parks in almost every state. This place is a must go through the thrill seeker and a must go for families with young children
Great rides, once you make it in the park. We spoke with 5 different desks to get season passes, fast pass, Ect. Any technical difficulty, held up the entire family from gaining park access
Cedar point is one of the best places around, they have plenty of rides for younger kids and ton a thrill for the extreme people. The food here is good for the price. Rides tend to be a little long but that ok. Games are fun, and are not rigged as bad as your carnival games. I am excited for 2020, bit may I ask cedar point, what are they going to take out?
Just came on the first day opening, is a total mess! They don t have idea on how to operate lines are 4-5 hrs we got in the park at 10 our first ride was at 1:30, they need to figure out otherwise this will be miserable
My favorite place in the whole world. We drive all the way from North Dakota to come here, because no other amusement park can compare. The biggest and best roller coaster ever paired with so many fun family rides and great kiddy lands. Warning: after you come here, every other amusement park will be ruined for you. The preschooler pass is really awesome for getting little kids in for free! No guilt if they don t love it or ride many rides!
Purchased season passes for our family of 4 for 2020. I know that COVID was out of everyone's control, but I bought season passes for 2020- not 2021. I requested a refund and they denied it. I went to the attorney general of OH and they refused to work with them. This is a terrible way to treat customers, Cedar Point sold me goods and services they could not provide. Any other company would give a refund when they couldn't deliver what a consumer paid for. Looking to start a class action lawsuit!! I hope others will follow suit! Class action lawsuits are FREE!!!!!!!
Amazing park, if you LOVE roller coasters, you MUST visit this place!! I recommend spending the extra $79 for the fast pass wristband, the longest I waited for ANY ride was about 10 minutes
I will be going tomorrow. I cannot wait! I have been going to CP for over 30+ years. I have been to countless six flags, kings island, disney world, universal studios, Busch gardens basically I'm about that roller coaster life and nothing compared to CP. This place is purely magical. There is literally something for everyone here. The food is stupidly expensive but it is good. Get there early if you want to ride the best roller coasters. Fast pass costs 100-120.00 and after 1pm it doesn't matter you have one anyway because you still will wait up to an hour for certain roller coasters. I would like to thank the state of Ohio for bringing me such joy for basically every summer of my life. Now my son is a ride warrior so the marathon continues.
Parked my car and the guard rails blew over and hit the back of my car and put at least 3 dents in the back..oh so so upset .reported it to the cedar point police and they made a report. So now to see how this all works out
I have went here since I was two. I enjoy it every year! They have games and rides for all ages, different areas for little kids and many family rides to enjoy! There's rides for the adventure types and for the not so adventure type, like relaxing rides. Fun for everyone!!
Best amusement park ever!!! It has the best rides and the staff is super kind and helpful. It has the most intense rides in the world!! It is the best amusement park.
Had a great time with my sister and her husband. Have to get there early like we did and got great parking time but 4stars for Millennium Force being down and the line for steel vengeance being 2 .5 hours long on a wednesday is absurd.
Had a. Ice time at Cedar Point with some of our adult children. It was a great time being with everyone but I would like some more things for seniors could do that can't go on roller coasters. Even the walk with no shoes to the water ride was dangerous for me, but I did it anyway because I didn't want my shoes wet. My husband and I rode the train about 6 times. Cedardowns once. Old fashion cars once. Not to much for us older crowds. We saw a few shows but most of the were in confined places with not much room. We did enjoy ourselves but it would have been much nicer with some more relaxing shows and few lower thrill rides. As usual, thank you for a nice day!
We love cedar Point and it's a yearly tradition for us. Unfortunately, we believe that they could have handled COVID protocols a bit more efficiently. Nonetheless, we will be back next Hollow-weekends 2021!!
Awesome theme park! We went on a Wednesday to try to avoid weekend crowds. Lines were long when the park first opened but by mid day most of the big rides had only a 15 minute wait. There were only a couple that had wait times over an hour. The food is overpriced just like any theme park. Check on Groupon for discounted tickets before you go.
It's Cedar Point! Always a good time. Wait time for the Steel Vengeance was waaaayyyy too long, but otherwise we generally can hit all the rides we want during our trips.
One of the Happiest places on earth. The park is ran excellently and there really is something for everybody. There are 17 coasters here and most of them are absolutely great and a fun time. If you have never been here before, you need to go if you are an enthusiast of any sort. 10/10
Absolutely the best dollar coasters. Love the all day eat and drink passes. Definitely worth the money. Park was clean. Restrooms well stocked and clean. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back!!
The roller coasters are out of this world. Steel Vengence best 2 minutes of my life! Fast pass highly recommended. Skip the eat all day pass, not worth it. Stayed on property in cabin, very nice well worth it.
Fun rides, few are actually pretty terrifying. The big coasters have insanely long wait times that aren't worth the actual experience unless you buy the super expensive fast passes ($170 per person.) Expect to wait a few hours if you want to ride Steel Vengeance, Maverick, Top Thrill, or Millennium Force. Smaller rides (ie. Wicked Twister, Valravyn, Raptor, etc.) also have veryyyy long wait times on busy days. An hour and a half if you're lucky. The coasters (I'm talking about you, Top Thrill) tend to break down often too. Available rides get extremely limited. For example, I checked the Cedar Point app and it said that the waiting time for Maverick would be 80 minutes. Ended up waiting over three hours, was then informed that the ride was experiencing technical difficulties. Skyhawk is underrated, I recommend you check it out. Millennium Force is great too. Overall not a terrible experience, but I won't be visiting again. Simply for the fact that I don't think I got my money's worth. If you have the money to spend on fast passes, you'll love this place.
Fantastic rides, large amusement park. The one ride we came to ride (top thrill dragster) is closed for maintenance, however, both days we have been here. Very disappointing, but an otherwise fun trip.
So disappointed with their policies for our disabled daughter. When applying for their disability pass, the employee asked just two questions and with that gave her a pass that excluded every single ride she wanted and was capable of riding. Instead it authorized her to ride a few rides, few of which she was actually capable of riding safely. It made no sense and there was no allowances made for the fact that I may understand her disabilities better than a park employee could by glancing at her for 10 seconds. It has ruined our fun family day at the park.
I love this place. I try to go here once a year sometimes twice. I live 2 hours away and I drive with my family/friends there and back. All the rides are good, but special mention is deserved by steel vengeance, millennium force, and valravn. These should be your priority if you love rollercoasters. The have smaller coasters too for people who don't care for thinking coasters as much. You can easily blow a day here. If you live significantly more than 2 hours away staying for multiple days is definitely worth it too.
It was my first time at Cedar Point and I Had a really good time. The roller coasters are awesome. There are rides for the entire family. You just cant do it all in one day. I didnt have time to go to the waterpark rides or the beach so I must go back again soon. The park was pretty clean and I really liked that. I just wish they offer more shady areas. I gets really hot walking around when its sunny. I dont recommend that carnival game area. It's a rip-off. Not too many people play those games. All in all, I recommend visiting Cedar Point. You will definitely have a great time.
Omg well a lot to say about my cedar point.. Def the best amusement park I've been to since I was a kid.. It was literally a summer trip every yr.. Since i was in 5th grade n even. Now we dont. Go as often but coming here again after 7 yrs felt like. Home again a lot looked the same with some new rides@@& def there's something for every age group here.. Highly recommend it for ride. Lovers & thrill seekers@@@@
Absolutely love this place. Have been coming here since I was a young kid and they always do something to update the park and make it better year after year.
The park is great as always. They have implemented and inforce COVID precautions without much interference. The lines are still long as perusal and they have a reseve time ticket protocol in place to make the long lines more orderly. But this also means you have to wait in line for a general time then wait in line again for the time that is on your ticket. If you are not aware of this policy it can be tough to ride all of the popular rides or plan a route through the park to ride on the ones you want. I understand things a new and I'm sure they will get better.
I'm absolutely terrified of roller coasters, but I got dragged here by some friends and I'll say even though I didn't ride any of the coasters, I was amazed by the sheer size and amount of coasters here.
In my opinion, Cedar Point has the best collection of coasters in one location. They've made great strides to stay up-to-date with current trends (restaurants, drinks, entertainment, etc.) and keep the experience fresh every year.
By far the best amusement park in the world! Great rides and great times for kids, even really little ones! Loved the two Snoopy camps. The lake is beautiful and beach well maintained. So many great memories over the years. Go when you are kids and go when you are an adult. Heck, even fun when it rains! Thank you Cedar Point!
Park is awesome as always, although very little social distancing put in place, and lots of people walking around without masks even though they are required, and no cedar fair employees enforce it. Lots of stuff closed throughout the park, and very long lines at the drink stations to rehydrate. Overall very disappointing for cedar fair. If you want a clean park, that doesn't have half the park shut down and does enforce social distancing and masks Kings Island is a much better choice.
Love this place!! Great for thrill seekers, lots of good coasters. Even if you re not a fan of big coasters, there is still so much to do. Tickets are reasonable compared to other larger theme parks with less to do. Cedar Point has become an annual trip for my family and I.
There are a lot of cool roller coasters, but I spent over $300 for two Fast Lane Plus passes and still spent forever waiting in line. That's not okay. If you're charging $155 PLUS admission of $65, I shouldn't be waiting that long. If they're selling enough Fast Past passes to STILL make pass holders wait an hour, they're selling too much. Also, it's currently 11:30 in the morning (park opened at 11:00) and they're STILL TESTING the coasters. Look, most people only come here for a day. It's the responsibility of the park to have the rides tested and ready to go before the park opens.
This place is my home away from home. I love this place more than anywhere else in the world. Being a coaster addict it's very therapeutic to be able to ride as many coasters as Im able to in one day. My goal every time I attend is to ride every ride in one day. Still haven't been able to do that yet, but I have dreams of completing this task one day. I love taking cedar point virgins to the park for their very first time. That look on their face coming up the causeway is priceless. Not only great rides, but the ride operations are quick and fast dispatches unlike any other amusement park or theme park. Now the food is AMAZING and reasonably priced. Most food and beverage has its ups and downs for people but I have never had a bad experience in this department. There are a few chain restaurants, Perkins, TGIF, Johnny rockets, Starbucks, melt, famous Dave's, ECT. However don't forget to checkout cedar points fresh cut fries, cheese on a stick, elephant ears, funnel cake, and Taffy! All in all cedar fair parks have great teams making sure the parks stay clean, safe, friendly, and FUN!
America's Roller Coast! Great selection of rollercoasters and carnival rides. No trash anywhere, and everything seemed like it had a fresh coat of paint. Just check out this view!
Its big but everything wasn't open either and they are slow with the food. And the food was not great. And I just didn't care for it was better 40 years ago.
Clean amusement park with great food options. The workers are fun and definitely made me have a better time. The longest I ever waited was for an hour, most were 20 minutes maximum. Not sure if that is the norm or I got lucky. Definitely made the trip from Chicago worth it.
I have been going to Cedar Point since I was a kid. I still have those same feelings of excitement at 50! It is always clean, and the rids are always clean and inviting. We went to celebrate our anniversary by riding the steel vengeance. It was awesome! One of the greatest coasters I have ever ridden!
SO MUCH FUN!!! This is the place to take your family for the summer!! All of their food is great, the rides are really fun, and all of the employees are super nice!!! The best way to spend your time at Cedar Point is to get the fast pass plus, and make sure to also get some fries while you are there!!
Keeps getting more expensive but the new modern rollercoasters are super smooth. Very nice. Don't wear a fanny pack certain rides require a locker for 2$
Cedar Point seriously needs to improve single riders option, because so much time wasted with empty seats while you can see single riders waiting and long lines. Great place for roller coaster enthusiasts.
Fast pass. Riders would ride 5 times to my full 2 hour wait . No fast pass the line would be 30 min. Cedar point is more concerned about making bank rather than the enjoyment of their park.
A lot of downtime on a lot of rollercoasters, but besides that had the time of my life and the rollercoasters were insane. Fast pass plus helps A LOT and is highly recommended if you re going on a busy weekend day.
Loved the rides but was very disappointed in the food. I got the perch and fries and I have never had such a flavorless fish in my life. Extremely disappointed
Nice place to go but always crowded. If you plan on eating at the park then I would suggest getting a meal deal. We bought two 6"subs and regular size drinks and it cost about 30$. The other option is to walk out of the park on the North end and go to the restaurants at the Hotel Breakers. They charge normal prices.
Def need to get this place cleaner n more for the little kids to do...I dont like how they dont make to much consession for handicapped either if u dont bring ur own wheel chair ur pretty much paying 70.00 that u dont get back...
Best Amusement Park probably in the world. The rides are amazing and there are a good amount of them. Steel Vengeance , their new ride is my favorite as well as the Millennium Force and Gatekeeper
Great amusement park. So many different sections and themes. The actors in the wild west portion are so dedicated that it makes each visit unique and exciting! The rollercoasters are fun, and when you're done exploring the park resting on the beach is so relaxing. Definitely going to visit again when I'm free.
Half the rides where down all day. You can only reuse the cups once a year and then have to buy the new year ones. Had a kid with me that had a gluten free problem and went to the service desk like it told me on the map and they told me they didnt know a thing and that I had to ask the food places I ask the food places and they told me they didnt offer any of that so I then called cedar point itself when at the park and they transferred me to the food part and the lady was going to give me an email to contact them I said no I am in the park at the moment trying to feed this kid and then I got a list of places that offered it came here to pink's ordered the hotdog with no bun so it would be gluten free and they can't even do that came out all dressed up on a bun the ticket even said naked hot dog we are leaving now over frustration PS: you can only take your plastic drink cups on a couple rides the rest wont even let you in the line.
Cedar Point has fun for all ages. From thrill rides to train rides. They have lots of food and drink choices. Everything is kept clean and the workers are friendly.
It was super fun but Corona kind of ruined it in a way also they should make a digital waiting pass for the big rides instead of waiting in a super long line.
The Greatest Amusement Park in the World!!!! I love 6 hours away.... this was the 4th or 5th time I ve visited, & EVERY time is better than the last! World class amusements, the best coasters, and safest park I ve been too. The only bad thing is every time I visit, I don t want to waste my money on King s Island.... just can t compare!
Coming here is a death sentence right now. They are barely sanitizing the rides between runs; poor mask enforcement; virtually no line space enforcement so everyone crowds together in lines; people not wearing masks properly. Just don't go if you care about your and your family's health.
