It is all about more and more money in their pocket not customer service! They want you to buy souvenir bottles, but they are too cheap to put the bins up anymore so people and place their belongings. They want you to spend more money on lockers. They are definitely not Disney..

We went on what was considered the most busiest day ever. But the rides made up for the two day blast we had!! Especially Millennium Force!! That was alone worth the trip!! Can't wait to go again real soon!!

Had a great 2 days at Cedar Point and felt safe during these uncertain times. The employees were helpful and obviously well trained in cleaning procedures. So many coasters, well worth the 8hr drive. !

Came mainly to ride Top Thrill Dragster. Waited around all day for it to open and it never did. Never seen anyone working on it or any reason why it was closed. Drove multiple hours and rented a hotel room. WAISTED MY MONEY AND TIME.

I've gotten season passes two years in a row because I live close enough that I can spend my weekends here. The rides are great. There's plenty to do for people of all ages and there's always something entertaining going on wether it's plays or bands or some of event, there's always something to do.

Over the years, however, Cedar point has gone from 5 starts to 4 in my eyes simply because of how expensive they have become. They're an amusement park, so I get it. It's nowhere near as bad as Disney world/land but they also keep adding things that make it hard for people who only get to come once in a while. They introduce the fast pass a few years ago and on their busy days that can turn a regular line from 1 hour wait to 2 hours. People who spend and extra 60 bucks on this pass get to cut in front of everyone making it impossible for people who don't spend the money to get to ride the popular rides in a reasonable time. Eating there is expensive and if you want to do anything other than the rides, expect to pay quite a bit.

It's a great place, don't get me wrong. You'll have an amazing time without all of that extra stuff. Cedar point has a cool history, amazing rides, and great entertainment. If you do end up getting a season pass, I recommend checking out the little stuff that have, like the museum, the man who works in there is so knowledgeable and the little work shop areas are very interesting. Even the petting zoo area is nice. Definitely recommend.

Cedar Point is doing the best they can to maintain social distancing, monitor proper mask wearing, and keep rides sanitized. We were impressed with their efforts and had a good time.

This place is great, and worth the money. They have amazing rollercoasters an outdoor waterpark kids rides an arcade and tons of carnival games. Food is anything from corndogs to brisket prices are reasonable espically if you can take avantage of thier platinum pass whice gives you unlimited visits for the season as well as free parking. Wait times for the rides vary from 5 minutes to 2 1/2 hours. Typically clean and most of the staff are great. If there is ever an issues they do everything they can to fix it. If you dp decide to go here only one time be sure to purchase thier fastlane plus pass whice allows you to virtually skip to the front of the line on almost all the rides but they can only sell a limited amount per day.

This place has way more than it did last time I was here (8 yrs). My son and i are not really rollercoaster riders, but there was a lot to do. I would recommend the great kiddie kingdom for kids, lost of smaller rides. Frontier land was pretty cool, all old west themed. But the did run out of Turkey legs mid day, disappointed. They do have a Chick-fillet !!
Opened and closed the park.
Recommend getting parking and tickets online.

I have grown up going to Cedar Point, since the 70's. We no longer live in OH and don't get to visit as often as we would like to. We were there back in 2015 and again this summer, 2019. The park has made some great enhancements and it looks clean & fresh. We were so happy to see all the updates and try out all of the new rides. Cedar Point is still #1 in our eyes...now Cedar Fair just needs to update Knotts Berry Farm in CA so those in the West can see what a real amusement park is like:)

My friend and I went to cedar point on Sunday and only rode one ride that took 2 1/2 hours to get on. Cedar point needs to bring back the reservations. That system was so much more organized. When they had the reservations I was able to get on every ride. It s not enjoyable to come here now, not worth the long lines.

Had such a blast. The wait times on some of the more popular rides were excessive so we just avoided them. Definitely use the app they have because it has a map and the wait times for you. Will go again.

Park is great! Staff is pretty good. Some are better than others. Rides are top notch! Food options are pretty poor. Need better education and training. Quality is barely edible and almost always is cold. Wish they could figure out how to fix that.

Super great fun, variety of rides, food, drinks and restrooms accessible everywhere. Shopping, carnival games and more! Water rides are a blast! Scenic view of Lake Eerie! Our family plans on renting Cedar Point cabins next year! They are$ reasonably priced

Had a great time with my family. This place is very fun to ride rides, try new foods, and play carnival games. However, we did notice that the cleaning around the park and the cabin areas for those staying their was not as sanitary as you would expect. We found a lot of bugs and trash and small touch up paint jobs not being done. I guess for the price on everything we did assume that a little more up keep on the property would be done. Also, be prepared to not ride many rides if you are over a certain height or weight. I am 250lbs and could barely get onto the rides. Some part of this was a little disappointing because you would think with most people being bigger that they would have larger seats for those who want to ride. However I do know that is not their problem. It only stops more people from coming. I am sure I will be back next year, hopefully see a little more improvement from maintaining the property and the parks. And hopefully I can squeeze a little easier on the rides.

Wait times very long and inaccurate. If the sign says 45 min, expect 1:30. Multiple coasters closed for maintenance so the other rides were extremely busy. We did not get the fast pass as not all of our party could afford the extra fee. I am very disappointed in Cedar Point to offer this. It is very discouraging to see others riding the rides ahead of you because they could afford the fees.

The best theme parks I've ever been too. They have some of the best roller coasters in the world! My favorite by far is Steel Vengeance. If you're a ride enthusiast, and/or love theme parks, this is the place to go. You won't regret it!

Omg!! What a day!! I have not been to Cedar Point in decades. My how things have changed!! Yes the lines are long. Yes some of my family waited almost 3 hours to go on the Steel Vengeance. But in the end, all the rides were worth the wait!! If you can buy the speed/line pass, by all means do so, but even the Steel Vengeance had a speed pass wait time if almost an hour. The smaller older attractions were definitely still nedded and enjoyed, as some of my family were not interested in the mega rides. We went on the older classics like the Iron Dragon and Cedar Creek Mine ride several times and had a blast!!! All the Cedar Point employees that we engaged with were courteous, friendly, and helpful. Getting the app on your phone was useful but not a must. You can still grab a park map at customer service. Today was an awesome day!! My whole family left satisfied and excited!! Thank you Cedar Point!!

Felt the adrenaline rush from all the rides. The gate keeper, valravan and the millennium rush are awesome. So unlucky, didn't get a chance to ride the steel vengeance the new attraction and the thrill dragster which was closed for some reason.

We bought a Wild Card that let us go to the park all of May and June for $60. We went 6 times (3 days at a time). Be prepared to bring plenty of money if you eat in the park. Prices are a little high.

Even though they are under an extreme amount of pressure to operate under all of these restrictions, it is obvious they are doing everything they can to make the most of it. I applaud them for their efforts with the limited help they have along with all the extra procedures they have to enforce. My one gripe is that I wish they would communicate any changes to the operation of a ride before hand. My wife and I got to the ride entrance of Steel Vengeance and were told that the zipper pouches they had installed just the year before had been removed. The policy of no loose articles has been reinstated. This left us holding our phones, keys, wallets and the choice to rent a locker, hide our stuff and hope for the best, or forget about it.

Cedar Point isn't known as The Roller Coaster Capital of the World for nothing; just ask any of her adrenaline seeking Ride Warriors. During these uncertain times surrounding COVID-19, they've stepped up to the task of enacting procedures and guidelines to keep patrons safe while keeping the fun. Wear your mask people! Use those hand sanitizer and social distance. Have fun and show some appreciation to the dutiful friendly staff out there.
Ride on.

The first time ever and was wondering why we hadn't been sooner. Loved all the coasters! The lines weren't long at all. The kids rode all the coasters two to three times each. The dragster coaster was the only insane one we wouldn't try.

Was pretty good. Not sure why a full day pass was charged for a half day of fun. Couldn't get to enough rides and most were not running. But the 4 we did go on during the entire visit were nice. I screamed a lot, so that means they were good!

What a fun place. If you love rollercoasters then this amusement park is for you. The shows are also a lot of fun and you can enjoy everything from country music to 50s and 60s sounds. An awesome way to spend a day.

I was here on a beautiful Friday, yet could still get on all the rides I remembered from days of yore (Gemini, Magnum, etc.) with literally zero wait. I m sad to see attendance so low, but super happy to ride my faves 10 times in under an hour :)

Not the Cedar Point of the past. Drove 8 hours to enjoy the park to be completely dissatisfied. After waiting in line for 2 hours ride gets shut down for maintenance. No help from staff to compensate for lost time. Not even an apology. Every thing extremely slow. Plan on no more than 2 big rides In a day and snail pace lines. Need more staff to clean rides verses all the down time. Apparently they don t care about how long you have to wait for everything. Won t return nor recommend for families with children.

Upside: Best rides ever!

Upside: Best rides ever!
Downside: Parking lot, customer service, the fact that the rides are never open, the price, and overall the waste of time in your life!

Tips: This isn't the same park back in the day! They pack people in to the point where its not fun. They draw people in with their promotions I.e. gold pass and dont care about valuable, loyal customers. Its business not pleasure now and unfortunately I'm the type of consumer who is wise to their tricks!

Alright. So I was looking through the reviews and ...

Alright. So I was looking through the reviews and seeing many negative things said about our precautions at Cedar Point. I will admit, I am biased as a member of the staff, being a Park Services (janitorial) associate. I'd like to clear the air a bit on some of the points. On the topic of a good deal of things being closed for the first 2-3 weeks, I'll tell it bluntly. Park services, who run the restrooms, and Ride Operations had very very limited staff. My department before we got in new arrivals from our other parks was sitting probably somewhere around the 50-60 area, with about 7-10 have a day off per day. Now that might sound like enough to operate a park, but it's simply not. To open up the restrooms that were open, we required 2 people (male and female) to do about 2-3 a day, for 13 hours. We'd on average have just enough to cover our main area restrooms, ie. Raptor, Public, Main Gate etc. Minus also 2-4 for the marina bathrooms, five for secretaries, about ten for upper management, four for area management, and 2-3 for our warehouse and you are basically running a park that standardly needs 12 restroom attendants, about 10 midways, and at least one team lead for each area (so this year it would be three) and running it with 5 midways, 7 restroom attendants, and one team lead if we are lucky. We didn't have the people in the beginning, and they actually contracted out some of the work after the bathrooms became a common complaint. Now I don't know about the rides, but from what I heard and what I've observed, they were running the best number of coasters they could with the people they had, Dragster being the exception due to it having need for maintenance like it always does. We tried and now it is improving enough that my branch has started to teach the interns about some tech that quickens up our work a bit (which is a life saver). Onto the safety guidelines. The masks are simple to explain because we've all heard the itches and hard to breath argument. Heck I've made a few of my own gripes about it in our break areas, along with a handful of coworkers. Simply though, we are doing it to ensure guest and employee safety, and provided relax zones in the event you need to take a break from the mask for a second. Same with the tempature checks, which employees also have to do every morning, indicated by the colored wristband that you see us wear. Can it be a bit much sometimes? Yes very much so but it is simply to make sure that we are as sure as possible that both guests and employees will be in a safe place once they enter the park, to ensure as much as possible that you can have as much fun as you can.

Purchased tickets in hopes to take a out of town friends to the park. Was excited to see that online tickets were available for certain dates, although was not indicated that several rides were not operational. In addition to that the four major roller coasters, Maverick, Millennium, Top Thrill, and my favorite Steel Vengeance were open but with a ticket only. Thankfully the tickets were free but unfortunately they require you to be at the entrance of one of said rides at two times 11 and 330. The park opens at 11 and i arrived at that time. By the time I made it to Millennium to get a ticket voucher to ride they were giving the last one out. At 3 o clock all four roller coasters had lines spanning hundreds of yards away from where it originated and with social Distancing it was near impossible to navigate the chaos... I highly recommend anyone of thinking to travel to the park read this and reconsider. Not to mention only a third of seats of each ride are open so wait times for even the lamest of rides are astronomically long... Hope this helps the next guy

Not worth going in 2020 at all!! Good rides require access passes that only allow u to get on at a certain time and they only give them out twice a day at 11 and 330 so u can't ride any of the good ones if you dont have the pass!! Most of the rides are closed to maintenance or temporarily down so only a very select few rides your able to get on. Line wait times are nearly two hours for the rides you can get on. So basically if you go in 2020 you'll be going to just walk around the park or go to the shops

Wait times were no where near accurate(on app and ...

Wait times were no where near accurate(on app and in front of rides), causing longer wait times. Many rides were only using one train, nearly doubling wait times instead of using 2 as all the rides need to from the start. Having to wait an additional 20 min per ride mid day for the crew to add the 2nd train is ridiculous. Get with it CP, you ve changed, and not for the better.

Absolutely love it here! It was our first time going. We're from Cali so we're used to Disney, Magic Mountain, Knotts Berry Farm, and all the other amusement parks out there. Well, I have to say, Cedar Point is by far our favorite place to go now! Lots to do, its beautiful, all the staff is amazing! I even lost my phone and it was turned in to security!! That would never happen in Cali

We bought tickets at full price and only about half (if not less) of the rides were open. If you're not going to have all the rides open why wouldn't you let people know before charging them full price? $90 for us to ride three rides in 6 hours (that's how long the wait times were). Rides were decent but still the worst theme park I've ever been to due to wait times and barely anything being open.

I went during Halloweekends and my friends and I had so much fun! The lines were shorter since fall is starting, the decorations were adorable, and of course the rides were awesome. LOVED the new Gatekeeper coaster, it was so smooth and has a great view of the whole park.

Most fun I've ever had at an amusement park, nothing else even comes close! We swallowed hard and ponied up an extra $100 each for the Speed Pass (on top of the $79 adult admission) and it was SO worth it! No lines, no waiting (with the exception of Steel Vengeance, for reasons I still don't understand), just riding and grinning non-stop. Highly recommend the Speed Pass if it's in your budget. We stayed in the park cabins, with fridge, grill, so got in CP n hour before the general public. Will do that again. If sold out, check Travelocity and other sites which have few bookings held in reserve. Worked for us! Don't let the weather scare you off, storms can pass quickly and rides open up fast once they pass. Food quality has gone way up, loved Melt, where I found adult beverages other than beer...

By far the best theme park in all of North America. Best place to spend a weekend for the summer. Getting in early by the day helps beat the crowd, also there's always a fast pass to help. Kindly make sure to remember which row you have parked your car. Honestly thrill dragster isnt for everyone !!!

Clean park, exciting rides for all ages. Definitely going to have to put up with looooooong lines if you're not here for a company picnic where it's just two or three companies in the park for several hours.

Cedar point most definitely the best theme park in the entire world. I've been here numerous times each visit better than the last throughout the years, I have ridden every roller coaster and a good amount of the thrill rides. Cedar point has a giant line up of record breaking coasters and fun for all ages. The facilities stay relatively clean and the rides operate near flawlessly. All roller coasters have a unique experience, as Cedar point has a ride in almost every coaster category. From the old time wood feel of the Gemini, the aggressive loops on the Raptor, and the crazy launch of the Top Thrill Dragster. My favorite rides are the Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Valraven, and Steal Vengence.

Some of the most popular rides were shut down. I get regular maintenance and safety, but the park should be able to coordinate maintenance to better supply the thrills they advertise to as many people as they can. Buy the fast pass. It is worth it. Hope to visit again soon. Had a blast!
