Fantastic place, I like the idea of not destroying and diverting a building to make it a living place with multiple proposals. In addition, the restaurant is great, with very good and good vegetarian suggestions.

Restaurant is located in an interesting area of a stylish old building. Extensive menu with different options, also vegetarian, although I found the standard iceberg lettuce with outings a bit disappointing with the quinoa salad and tasted the falafel for me something too fried (but maybe just because I'm not used to). Children's chairs and even some signs for the children, although we had to look for this ourselves. Dishes were a bit on the expensive side for me (maybe only compared to the Netherlands?)

Cultural center housed in a renovated post building, where authentic elements are nicely integrated into a modern interior. In terms of supply, it should not be inferior to larger cities, the performances here are More

We had found a table for the two of us, and an Asian waiter sent us to an insignificant place without privacy because he wanted to make a table for four. No more respect for couples and intimacy!

Nice and busy, the slightly more hip place in Ostend. Horeca very pricey. Also seen a kind of artistic performance here where you walked through 3 dark parts, which was really disappointing, even if it was only 6 euros entrance for this.

Nice climate, although in my opinion there's more of an industrial than calm and relaxing climate in the room. Something I regret is that all the dishes you order for breakfast are served at once, leaving some cold by the time you finish up on it. Though what I appreciated was that the kitchen recognizes an error when one is made and identified by the customer. However, instead of offering a reduction on the price and a new dish is delivered, only the second option stands.

Alex Agnew's show "be careful what you wish for" seen at De Grote Post cultural center and it was certainly worth the effort. The Alex Agnew show was really great! In the cultural center everything was well organized and a great room. After the show we drank something in the cozy bar and friendly service

Retro post-office of the 50s revamped into a Culture Center. Dating from the '50s, architecture by Gaston Eysselinck and designed to be used as a post office until 1999. In 2001 the city of Ostend acquired the building and from 2012 it serves as a Cultural Center. The building offers several performance spaces used for the performing arts, literature and expositions. The main event is the annual 'Theater aan Zee' (Theater at Sea festival) in July, in which this building becomes the main hub for several performances from noon till late in the evening. 'Theater at Sea' involves many locations, not only restricted to this building. The Cultural Center is quite impressive and especially the panorama bar on top offers a grand view of the city.
