yesterday my son and his fiancee married in a lovely intimate ceramony and after the chapel we went to the cavan crystal hotel where we treated extremely well.nothing was any bother to the great staff food was beautiful hot fresh and plentiful.our room was lovely doors open on a very lovely summers day and all staff from the wedding coordinator to waitresses and bar staff.were freindly and professional i would highly reccomend it as a wedding venue.and as an addition in these covid times the cleaners did an amazing job they were around all day it seemed to me they went round every half hour keepin everywhere to a high standard thank you cavan crystal fir a fabulous day

The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful in the current Civid climate and made our stay enjoyable

Great hotel, close to Cavan city center, really nice and polite staff the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because was a bit cold in the room overnight for my preference and the breakfast choise was quite limited. Nit bad though

Fantastic food. Brilliantly priced. There was a number of us in for food after a funeral, (unplanned) and they let us join tables so we could all sit together. Very allocating to all situations.

Wow what an amazing place, Una & Irene were just fab. They put us at ease and helped us through our wedding day so much. From start to finish everything was first class! My wife and I stayed for 2 days, 26th and 27th July. We felt very safe at the hotel and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Michael, the general manager made us feel very welcome and he worked very hard to ensure everything ran very smoothly. Thanks to all the staff for a very relaxing stay.

I was booked room + dinner+ treatment. Low quality in restaurant. Treatment voucher can't use because all day is already booked. We are not happy and never go back again.

Nice rooms and breakfast, but would not recommend for a hen party. The hotel advertises hen parties but while we were having our meal, staff asked us numerous times to keep it down and in my opinion our group was quiet for a hen party.

Have only been here for sunday lunch in opus 1. Gavin has dealt with us mostly and has always been wonderful and welcoming. Food is amazing as always. Love love love.

I would like to say a massive thank you from myself and my husband Paul, for the first class service provided for our daughter Maria and her now husband Sean's fantastic wedding reception. From the initial viewing of the hotel with Una to our checking out two days after the wedding the only way our experience can be worded is "perfect".
I cannot recommend both the venue and all of the staff highly enough. The food, accommodation, decor were first class.
The whole experience was warm, personal and professional.

Very hard to fault this hotel, the staff go above and beyond. Slight issue with food (ie mash wasnt up to my liking) but overall a great hotel

Lively service food always good and value for money

Super place, 4 star great for business meetings or for dinner. Good food menu serves until after 8pm. Recommend the steak.

Just back from a two nights stay, really lovely hotel, few issues with our room the first night, which they sorted out very quickly. Food in both the bar and restaurant delicious and breakfast both mornings were freshly cooked hot which is rare for most hotels now. Would highly recommend this hotel for families also as they had a great playground. Will definitely go back and stay here. Thank you to all the staff at Cavan Crystal Hotel.

Don't book!
They have called me to cancel my booking saying the hotel is closed.
Which is not true, as I have sent a message to the hotel and asked.
The reply was, yes sure we are open, please call us and book.
I have checked the phone number that called me and it was definitely from the hotel.
My booking was for mid July 2020!
To me it seems like they have done that to be able to get more money out of people who are only booking now.
Worst experience I have ever had!

Also asked them for a statement by email and up to today, I did not get a response.

Lovely modern hotel with great facilities. Spacious rooms, helpfull staff, nice food.

Bar food good, great nights sleep. Hot Breakfast is to order and my daughter ordered a waffle which she loved. Pool is s pool box standard with Jacuzzi, steam and sauna room.

Three-night stay in September 2017. Nicely designed hotel friendly staff. Hotel appears to have some management issues. Scuffed and dinged doors, hallway carpets not properly cleaned, plumbing not working property. Stoppers on sink and More

Overall poor value for money, It wasn't horrific but it was below average and over priced.

Stayed here for one night. The hotel/rooms are really dated and in need of revamp. The staff were very hit and miss, some of them are just not cut out for the hospitality industry.

Had desserts in the bar one of the evenings they were always really mediocre.

It is a 3* masquerading as a 4* and is poor value for money. Unimpressive.

One night stay, what a lovely hotel, we were looked after very well by Christine on reception. Great bar food and lovely breakfast, a really nice experience.

Lap of luxury, not as expensive as I thought for food

Lovely hotel, great staff, great location. The only small issue was with a break down in communication between booking and arrival. Spoke to the hotel at the time of booking and requested a first floor quiet room at the back of the hotel, was told this had been arranged. Upon arrival we had been allocated a top floor room, we requested a first floor quiet room again as per our booking, got the first floor but this time woken by builders first thing in the morning so not very quiet either. But in all a nice hotel :-)

World class customer service!! We arrived for one nights bnb a break from out kids for the night! Unbeknownst to us the hotels wedding fair was on, we arrived at almost 6pm it was over and so while we headed for food we said we ll sneak a peak at the function room setup (engaged 5years and 2kids later) we to our luck we re greeted by the amazing Irene! She took us in and lit the place up talked us through out entire wedding and gave us royal treatment! Wine and a tour of the bridal sweet! We fell in love with the place and with Irene amazing character! We ended up planning and booking our wedding for 2021! We are still shock of what a great place this is! The manager even such a gentleman they couldn t do enough for us! And then to top it all off Irene upgraded us to the bridal sweet for the night! Blown away this place has top class customer service! Thank you guys and thank you Irene what a legend :) :) can t wait to begin our journey to our big day :) #2021

Very nice hotel in the hidden heartlands. Booked her for our group and were very pleased with the room, service and hotel amenities. Only disappointment was the pool closed at 6. Otherwise all grand. Perfect base for exploring hidden treasures in County Cavan.

Lovely hotel and staff very helpful especially receptionist last friday night. Only downside is you cannot get food sfter 9.30pm as chefs finish up. Sandwiches can be ordered through room service but not toasted as chefs finish up at 9.30pm. Hopefully that can be resolved for the future.

Took drink of queit 18 teens year old in loobie because they wear not carring id . You would deffitnly no that u were in cavan . I think it is a discrase for the hotel . From now on i will take my business other places than kip

Food in the bar and restaurant was lovely.But when I was given Room 110 on entering the room I fond the room in a messy way.Not very nice.

Very friendly staff good location nice food lovely rooms and exceptionally clean

No where to sit if you want to relax or eat in the bar area in the hotel. Showers in pool are mouldy. Carpets shabby, bathroom had weird noises. Very very friendly staff though.

Great week, friendly staff and service in the restaurant was first class.

The food here is good but I've eaten in the bar twice recently for lunch. Both times the bar filled up with people at a party or a wedding.The result is last time we were eating totally surrounded by people standing around our table. It put me off so my recommendation is if eating in the bar choose seats around the edges.

We still call for the good quality food and it's not expensive. It's clean and very well staffed and managed with a great menu

I loved this hotel. The staff were shop friendly. The food was very good. We were made feel special. In going back there again.
