A lovely airy n clean hotel with spacious rooms n friendly helpful staff and good entertainment n lovely hot tasty food

Feb stayed with family staff and facilities brilliant . All staff really go out of way to make you feel at home love it

I think this is a really good place to stay. I have stayed here numerous of times and feel a warm feeling as i relaxed throughout my stay. It has really friendly staff and a top class service. This would be one of the places i would recommend for people to stay.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Excellent food and great value for money.

Went on a Sunday and received a lovely welcome from the girl on reception. And checked in under 2 minutes. Our room was the standard hotel room, it was nice and clean and had all the normally hotel room equipment (ironing board, tea coffee etc). Went for food on the bar which was really nice and the barman was really friendly and the Waiter also. We also made use of the gym which had plenty of equipment and was nice and clean. Breakfast the next day you could order off the menu for hot food and there was a selection of cold food as a buffet style option. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the hotel. Nice and new. Staff in all areas were kind thoughtful and always happy. Would be back again when in the area.

Nice bar for watching sports. Nice pool and leisure.

Nice hotel, reasonably clean. Checked in after 6pm and breakfast trays still on the corridor.

Beautiful hotel. Supportive staff. We arrived late and the front desk ordered take away food from a Chinese food restaurant. The pub even stayed open late for us.

Two night stay, such a lovely place. There is a gym and spa, also across the road from a small retail park.

Really a very nice hotel. The staff were excellent from the reception to the bar to the cleaners. The design of the hotel is very well done and has a beautiful mix between traditional and modern. We ate on the bar and all had a very good meal. Excellent range of beers and sports. There is a health cente here but did not have the time to attend. Breakfast was in the restaurant and top standard and all the staff were pleasant and professional. Rooms were comfortable and had tea and coffee in the room and good TV with a good range of stations. Overall had a very nice stay and it really deserves the four star rating.

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Room spotless and spacious. I ate in the Atrium Bar. Staff here were excellent and the food was served promptly and piping hot. Though very busy I did not feel at all rushed. As a solo guest I did notice that it is a very child friendly hotel with a lovely playground. I also enjoyed using the leisure facilities.
I would have no hesitation returning or recommending The Cavan Crystal Hotel.

Rooms a bit shabby now, cleaning of rooms could be better as lots of dust. No air conditioning and windows only open slightly so very warm even though not a hot day/night. Bar very expensive for sports and mixer. Staff lovely but overworked in bar are so service was a bit slow when ordering food.

Beautiful hotel but found some of the day time staff in the bar unfriendly and would not even look at us when taking our food orders asked for still water got sparkling asked for no tarter sauce and got no peas but got tarter sauce. We were not even asked was everything OK. Thought for the money we paid the service was very poor. Ending on a good note the bar staff we spoke to later were two lovely women. Overall didn't think it was good value for the money. Not good enough when paying 160 for one night

From moment we entered the Hotel it was excellent the staff were really welcoming and friendly and could not do enough for you the Hotel itself is spotless with lots of sanitizers everywhere the Hotel Manager is a really nice friendly man who went round to everybody asking how their stay was . Food was also top class.We would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone we will be back

Vegetables inedible. Must have been soaked and cooked for hours. Fish -hake tasteless. Goats cheese salad starter was really good

Welcoming friendly staff not very clear on where to find the basics like where the lift is or where the toilets are?No toilets in the bar area or reception have to go up a flight of stairs to toilets. The room looked beautiful and was expecting a comfortable nights sleep but the bed was anything but comfortable and pillows not nice to lie on didn't sleep much had aches and pains. I wouldn't go back.

Very poor got roast lamb and it was all fat and cold and serves was very slow

Friendly no-fuss hotel, very comfortable, good restaurant and great bar food in very convenient location with lots of parking.

Food great service very speedy and pleasant baked alsaka unbelievable

Really happy with our short stay. Facilities are really nice with a pool and playground on-site. Staff were great and called the day before our arrival to go through all regarding Covid and how best to book the pool, resturant etc.
Happy to recommend and will be back.

As a hotel it's amazing. Staff in bar brilliant and very friendly and helpful. But just wish the could do a poached egg for breakfast or even pan fry a chicken for dinner. But pool excellent and house keeping the best

Lovely hotel. We ate in the Atrium bar, the food was very fresh and tasty. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would visit again. Enjoyed the cool pint of rockshore.

Fantastic food, great friendly staff and some incrediable deals now e.g 169 euro for a couple and infant b&b and one evening dinner. Highly recommended.

Lovely meal in a very nice bar,the kind of place u could easily relax in for the night.

Exceptional classy establishment on the Dublin Road and beside a retail park and short taxi ride to town centre. Very tasty food in the restaurant and in the lounge bar area. I won't give it five stars because service can be patchy and food value is pricey. All said it is a popular place.

Luvely spot room very good hotel class food very good but same mistake as every hotel makes overpriced drinks hate it plus isolated place could not go elsewhere for a reasonable priced beverage

Great hotel, we attended for a hen party. The staff and waiters/waitresses were fantastic, excellent service and some of the BEST VEGAN FOOD I HAVE HAD! loved our stay

Called in for our lunch today ,,, it wasn t the greatest, no one asked if it was ok ,, I would say poor

After an extremely tough year this has just been what we've needed, too just relax. Such a calm friendly atmosphere, loved out stay recommend it to anyone xx

Not somewhere I would return. Service was slow and while the food was nice there were very few vegetables with the meal and the meal was small.
