Hen party package! Evening food very nice, breakfast ok. Staff friendly, room clean tidy quite big. Pool ok jacuzzi and steam room good sauna wasn't working! Would definitely stay again!

The decor was lovely the staff were great all through the hotel .for me too much children running all over parents drinking not taken notice and not looking after them

Used the bar for a food stop based on the reviews...seemed "ok" ordered 2 adult meals and 2 kids with clearly the morning/lunch shift team..they seemed to go at 2pm and a new team took over..we were told 20 mins for a burger..sounds fine if all fresh. Sadly it seems the lady or someone did not ring in the full order, only 2 adult meals came..we waited and started to share with the kids as we waited..nothing, on checking...not on the order. Food was "fine" , experience was ruined to be honest...ah well, picture of 2 meals only lol!

Stayed here for our 10th annivesary.. best hotel we have been too.. card wishing us a happy annivesary and chocolates on bed when we got to room.. All staff seemed to know of our annivesary and commented to us.. Bar staff really helpful and polite.. Bar snack and food i.e(breakfast) 10/10... And waiter (john d) was exceptnal when serving us.. credit to the hotel.. friendly to children at hotel.. john and kathie from warrenpoint

Only used the bar. I had a drink and a meal in pleasant surroundings. Food order arrived quite quickly despite being fairly busy. Food was good, no complaints. Overall pretty good.

What a lovely hotel to stay in,the staff made us feel very welcome, the bedrooms are lovely and clean, breakfast was fantastic which plenty of choice and the manager came round the guest to see how our stay was which added a personal touch. Dinner was just outstanding. Whenever I am back in cavan I will not hesitate to stay again, thank you again x

I have been at your hotel a few times and the standard of service at the bar is the worse I have seen in any four star establishments. You really need to teach your staff basic manner and the correct way to serve a drink. Also if your are serving Jameson I would appreciate that it was not watered down first or at least have actual Jameson in the bottle and not some cheaper brand. This I will be relating back to weights and measures in a formal complaint. And lastly if your are going to charge high prices a clean glass would be nice. A new bar is no good if the service is very poor and the product is not up to standard .

Feels like a 5 star hotel. Really nice interior and rooms.

Prompt efficient service at reception. Extremely busy at weekends. Bar service left a lot to be desired, food not served and slow drinks service at the bar.

I guess we just happened to be very unlucky in what we thought would be the relaxing weekend we needed before the run up to xmas... they should of disclosed on booking that their pool facilities would not be open due to renovations as this was the main reason we chose the hotel in this area and was only asked was this ok on arrival feeling like we hardly have a choice as we would still have to pay our deposit due to our online booking, the room would have been lovey and quite if we had not been placed at the back of the hotel right beside where the work was been done to the pool waking us up at 7.30 sharp each morning by either trucks or workers walking above our room in the attic as we are on the 5th floor. Finally breakfast was very disappointing they were quite with at lest 5 staff including what looked like a manager at the desk who seemed to be more interested in her phone than seating people.. and the plenty of staff at hand were busy finding corners to giggle and chat I found it highly unprofessional that I needed to call them over on 3 occasions to order or remove our plates so we could have our coffee

Had Christmas party here, brilliant food and service. Shame the band couldn't sing, but disco made up for it, will be back again this year

Great hotel, loads of little thoughtfull details make this a great place. Bar food was good. Swimming facilities superb.

Very clean and well appointed. Good reasonable rates. Only let down by small area in bar for evening meal.

Very busy hotel on the road into Cavan. Lovely interior. Friendly staff. Very good rooms. Despite loud live music in the bar, we heard nothing in room.

Not somewhere I want to return to. Some staff lovely others more interested in their phone. Dinner was a disaster food bought in not appetizing.

Was there as a visitor for dinner. Had the pot roast lamb and it was delicious. I just fell off the bone. Staff friendly and not in your face all the time. Later on we sat outside on a beautiful sunny evening for drinks. Very nice and relaxing

Nice hotel, staff friendly and seated us outside as requested for lunch. I ordered a chicken sandwich. Cooked chicken pieces were terrible, rubbery and hard to chew.

The staff in the Cavan Crystal are second to none. We have been going there for 10 years as part of a very large group and they never fail to deliver an excellent stay.

fantastic hotel fantastic staff good food i was part of a coach party there was a problem in that my room had been allocated under a differrent name the proffesionalism with which the hotel resolved the issue was excellent.

Was here for a wedding reception. Function room was fab however no real designated area for drinks reception. People were scattered all over. Staff were great and really helpful. Food was nice but nothing special. Large car park on site

The Hotel is superb with good facilities, Breakfast is awesome, staff are articulate, friendly, easy location to find, close to town center..The Rooms are spacious, bed comfy, good hot water and good pressure on shower..good for family and Couples.

Well presented hotel from the outside/foyer area, bar and restaurant were good, nice evening meal and breakfast. Rooms were quite big and modern feeling, lighting in bathroom was poor though. Very nice hotel overall but not quite as luxurious as the price per night indicated

This is our 3rd visit and for good reason. Great kids club, lovely food and very accessible for local amenities. Friendly staff and a comfortable room. We'll be back

Lovely friendly staff the rooms were comfortable and warm, we ate in the bar, it busy but the staff were lovely and the food good bar food.

Excellent services and super staff. We had our wedding at the cavan crystal and the staff were super friendly and professional. The food was amazing I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
