We had the breakfast. Very good steak, cooked exactly as requested. The biscuits are wonderful as well. Everything was very tasty, with fast efficient service.

Lovely experience with the foods. It would be a special place for steak lovers. Very delicious steak items, they smell great, the spices are amazing to taste. Another thing is the smoky smell. We just loved it. Foods are fresh and healthy. It seems hygienic and safe.

The place was raved about by locals and others. The food was good but not up to the rave standards. Also the flies were extreamly bad. It's 30 degrees outside there's no reason to have any flies. It also smelt really bad. Made it hard to enjoy good food. It just tells me it's not a clean place. The place was extremely outdated. I would have rather went to texas roadhouse.

Prime rib was cooked perfect, but the au jus was a little salty

My boyfriend took me for a birthday lunch and everything was SO good. We had the porter house and it was perfect.

Getting seated was an awkward experience but once we were seated the remainder of the evening was wonderful. The food was seasoned well. The server was concerned with the way our steaks were cooked making sure they were to our liking . The steak was delicious, however the mushrooms were a bit salty and the salad was literally just lettuce a grape tomato and dressing.

We had a stellar experience here. The waitress, Annalee, was phenomenal amd the food was superb. Being from out of state we looked for somewhere to have a great meal before continuing our trip and we were not disappointed. This will certainly be a reason we come back to Oklahoma in the future.

In OKC for work, and everyone said I had to try Cattlemen's while I'm up here. Walking through the door (for dinner service) I really got a sense or feel that the restaurant has certainly been around forever with its old decor. The menu was simple and gave an appearance that they specialized in their craft.

I ordered the Prime Rib dinner, in which I got mashed potatoes, a salad, and dinner roll for my sides.

The salad was very plain, some pre-packaged lettuce and one cherry tomato. I ordered the house dressing on the side because I didn't know what to expect. I personally didn't care for the house dressing but what shocked me was the medium sized bowl of dressing they gave me. Way to much dressing.

The mashed potatoes were pretty good, I'd give them 4/5 stars on those.

My Prime Rib on the other hand was the toughest piece of Prime Rib I've had in the longest time. It was also served in a pool of Au Jus (nothing on the menu mentioned the swimming pool of Au Jus). The server offered to grab me a different Prime Rib cooked another way, but since this was the standard way they served it, that's how I wanted to try it. Overall not impressed though. The flavors of my Prime Rib didn't jump out and catch my attention.

My server was amazing but the food was pretty average overall. Solid 3 stars with no "WoW factor" to make me remotely interested in going back.

Layout of this place is pretty awkward... between the waiting area upstairs and the two very different dining room experiences it just seemed odd. Despite that, the food and service were good and that's what really counts.

The best in the business. Very affordable, simply the best salad dressing and croutons ever (literally makes my mouth water thinking about them), and steaks always cooked perfectly. The service is phenomenal, the drink menu is extensive, and the ambiance is classic. You can't beat this place.

My brother and I have been wanting to try Cattlemen's for years and they did not disappoint. Service staff was a tad stiff; our server never smiled once. But the lunchtime crowd was manageable and we were seated immediately. We had no trouble carrying on a conversation in one of the comfy booths. The food came out without any delays between finishing the salad with awesome house dressing to service of our perfectly cooked rib eye steaks. Wow, those were great-tasting steaks! Everything we ate was outstanding. I would make Cattlemen's a regular destination anytime I want a great steak in Oklahoma City. Just writing this review makes me hungry!

Last night my wife and I were coming into your resteraunt around 7, as we were walking from our car to the door I noticed something. We got in and we're sent to the waiting area until our table was ready. I asked my wife to go on ahead there was something that needed to be taken care of, she looked at me kind of puzzled but went on.

I went back outside and brought back the man that was looking thru the trash can for some supper. We came back in with a few odd stares from the patrons, we were greeted and seated at the lunch counter where I discovered my dinner guest was deaf and mute. We communicated thru writing notes, we ordered him some warm soup to start with. As I sat the with this man having a cup of coffee, my wife calls me and informs me our table is ready and where we are seated. I proceed to tell my wife we are having a guest for dinner, so we get up andover from the lunch counter to our booth. The point of my review is that the All the employees of CATTLEMANS were eager to help me help this man start off his New Year much better than last. May GOD BLESS YOU ALL IN THE NEW YEAR.

Food was great. Steaks cooked perfectly. Our waiter Tommy was friendly and prompt with his service to us.

The food was really good! But the atmosphere was not what I would have expected with those kind of prices. Also, not a lot to choose from on the menu. Expect to spend at least $80 for two people, that's without drinks.

As always service and food quality are excellent.
You'll never be disappointed in either at Cattleman's in the stockyards.
It's our go to place for grest dinners, out of town guests, family and friends gatheting places.

I was seated quickly, they even cleaned a certain table that I preferred. The waiter "Robert" was right there with water and a menu ready to take my order. The coffee was hot and the food great, just like I ordered it. Had a great breakfast. I would recommend Cattlemen's to anyone !

It's all about the beef (no duh). I'll give the filet 5 , delish! But the supporting cast easily takes it back down to 4 . Salad of nothing but iceberg with a big chunk of stalk. And for a steakhouse of this repute, no real pepper grinders? One would think they have to have one or more since they serve a steak au poivre. But none available at the counter where I was seated. Small beef (pun intended,).

Chef's salad is the best.... with House dressing of course!

Excellent food and service. be prepared for a wait on the weekends. Way better than those "chain" operated steak restaurants.

We had our Grandmother's 90th Birthday Party here today. It turned out wonderful. The food was delicious and staff was professional and very kind.

Not a steakhouse in the NY or Chicago tradition, but this family favorite is highly regarded for its delicious steaks and relatively moderate prices. The highlight of the meal here is the house salad dressing. Creamy, garlicky, and just terrific. You'll probably want to skip dessert here as it's not particularly noteworthy. Still, the dinner, service, and atmosphere will leave you feeling quite satisfied.

This place is pretty awesome. Simple. Classic. And great. The service was fantastic. Food was great. Definitely more of an old school atmosphere and style. Clean. Place is usually busy so be prepared to wait. Definitely worth trying.

Went to this classic restaurant during lunch time on a Friday with no wait! The whole family loved their food.

Maybe I don't know enough about steak but I thought their $30 steak tasted like any other steak I've ever eaten for way cheaper. Don't get me wrong, it was good food and good wine. The staff was great. Our waiter was attentive and awesome. But went there when it was 100 degrees outside and I don't think the place has air conditioning and there were flies everywhere. Flies landing on my $30 steak!

I was on OKC for a concert and decided i wanted a steak. My first and only thought was Cattlemens. So good.

Never been more disappointed as I was today. I hot the CFS and it was undercooked the steak was done, but the flour breading still tasted like flour then when I scraped it off the steak had no seasoning. For the price I paid I expected better for my meal. Also had 2 different waitresses try and take our order after we placed it, like they didn't have set stations. The floor and wall were sticky like an old movie. theater

My husband and I split the Presidential T-bone (32.00) and it was gristly and chewy. The potato and salad were typical. We complained about the steak to our server and it was comped. We really appreciated Chris doing this. We understand that even the best places can get bad steaks and will try again.

OKC landmark. It's difficult to get a table and you always have to wait, but it's worth it for the no frills, straight forward, delicious food. The lamb fries are something everyone should try once. The steaks are always perfect, the staff is friendly and quick. Cattlemen's is one of our favorite OKC restaurants. The sides are basic green salad, choice of potato and rolls, no frills, but good hearty food.

Very busy place on a Saturday night. Had to wait 45 minutes for a table, but was worth the wait. I've probably never had a better steak! I had the Dinner Steak, tender and delicious!

The best in Oklahoma City ok.Had the sirloin thick cut medium rare and sauteed mushrooms. Casual dining with upscale service. Steaks $ 10.00 and up.

Good steaks but the rest is just comfort food u would have gotten on a Chuck waggon after a hard days work. Salad isn't a spring mix either.

Always a great experience...I've been going to Cattlemen's for 9 year's...Everyone is friendly from the Morning Crew with Ms Boston...the lady that makes the cakes in her spare time....and of course Sharp he has saw my children grow...Breakfast Buffet on Saturdays and Sundays Ham Steak is also and there steaks are too

Another great steak. Adds up to over 50 years of Great Steaks. Probably why they are in the top 10 in the nation.

Party of 7 & our wait was only about 30 minutes. We were seated & our waitress spoke to us within a few minutes. They were really busy for an early Sunday evening, but we realized there had been a rodeo going on, so that explained the crowd.

3 ordered prime rib, 2 steaks, 1 catfish dinner, & I got grilled shrimp. I just love the little toasts you get with with the salads. Funny thing to love I suppose, but I could eat an entire basket!

Everyone enjoyed their dinners, including the salads, rolls, & baked potatoes. The lamb fries were great - very tender & so tasty! My shrimp had the best flavor too! It was a great meal after seeing Phantom of the Opera!

This is a traditional steakhouse. If you go in expecting an elegant affair, you will be sadly disappointed. No nonsense, down to earth, Cowboy food. The lamb fries were a little bland, the steak burger was really juicy, and the sauce on the pepper steak was amazing. Come here to eat meat when you have that need, you will leave satisfied.

By far the best steak in OKC area. Once served, nothing needed to be added, no salt, pepper or even steak sauce. A bit pricey but worth the $$

First time visiting this steakhouse way to expensive for the quality of the food. Salads just lettuce and 1 cherry tomato, ribeye was very chewy.

I visited this place awhile ago and forgot to review until now. Worst steak I've had anywhere, yet one of the most expensive. I ordered mine medium and my friend ordered his well done. His came out very rare and mine was well done. It was extremely bland. I've truly had better steak at Outback/Texas Roadhouse/Longhorn than at this place. Our waiter lied to us about being our waiter, said someone else must have forgot about us and took our table when he was really our waiter all along.

My friends grandfather said that this place had the best steak he had ever had, and I could not have been more disappointed.

Omg! We tried this place because we saw it on Triple D. The food was amazing. We had lamb fries, salad (with homemade dressing they've been making for 107 year,) prime rib, HOMEMADE desserts! They don't take reservations so plan accordingly but it is worth your time. Ask for Debbie...she was informative and an awesome server...and to think they were serving steaks here two years before the Titanic sunk!!

Crowded, and the crowd is not the open, welcoming type. Ordered the t-bone medium rare and got a Luke warm medium cooked steak that tasted like it had been stored in hay for two days. Overpriced nastiness with a late sixties decor. The only saving grace is that the waiter was polite. There are plenty of other steakhouses I will go to twice before coming here again. . .

Ahhh! The perfect Porterhouse Steak. It is just to die for

The chicken fried steak looked absolutely pitiful and had absolutely no flavor. They also don t give you rolls until your entree arrives unlike all the better steakhouses. As for their sirloin, it s no better than any other steakhouse, but it is more expensive. I d heard great things about this place but I was honestly really disappointed.

The roll was the only thing I liked. The food was mediocre at best! Chicken fried steak was greasy tasting! Was very disappointed in the food here. I'm still wondering what all the hype is about. I mean this place was on the food Network yuck! When u walk in immediately a dark atmosphere and dirty. Diner with high prices smh won't be revisiting this place!!!

Everything I have ever ordered there has been great! The steaks are cooked perfectly to order. The breakfast buffet on the weekends is an overwhelming amount of quality food for and equally as overwhelming LOW price!
