The chicken-fried steak has no flavor the roles were good but the butter had no flavor the french fries looks good but were cooked in old grease
My wife thought the salmon was good but she ended up getting sick not long after we won't go back

Amazing steaks and a really cool atmosphere. If you are going through OKC, you should stop by here.

My whole family just loves Cattlemen's steakhouse. The best house salad dressing. The Lamb frys are out of this world and if you dip it into the house dressing makes it that much better. I always get the BIG T-bone dinner. Just make sure you aren't in a hurry to be seated because 99 x's out of 100 you will have a good little wait time. But it's worth waiting for.

We take the office girls out for lunch as each one has a birthday. Today was Melissa's birthday and she chose Cattlemans. Well, no disappointment here, food was great and our server, Charles, was outstanding. Thanks Cattlemans for the good food and thanks Charles, great service. We will be back.

Loved it! Dont miss this jewel when in OKC. Friendly staff, prompt service and fabulous food at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is casual and historic, the dining room is a bit dark and cave like due to the wood walls. You can feel the ghosts.

Best meal we have had out in awhile. We had the ribeye. Love the salad and toast.

Hands down, one of the best steaks I've ever had in my 72 years. Service was excellent. Can't love this place enough. Just passing thru and met up with cousins at their suggestion.

If there was 10 stars that's how many I'd give these guys....the food and service was excellent! The wait was a little long but well worth it.

Both the food and service were exceptional. The streak was flavorful, thick and juicy just as nature intended. Deena was the perfect hostess. Kind, attentive and above and beyond in her service. A great big thank you Deena!

I loved the service...i went with husband and his male friend & waitress was respectful by taking my order first & even refill my water glass first. Top class service & food was great. Highly recommend everybody to visit.

Enjoyed another awesome meal at Cattlemen's last Friday evening. Taking a bite of my filet mignon was almost a religious experience! If you are in Oklahoma City and want to enjoy a great steak, this is the place to go. And the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of the food.

The place is really outdated and is need of a makeover. The T bone steak I had wasn't the worst but not the best either. The best part of the meal was the bread roll.

Steak was excellent and service was great as well. I got the filet medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Also went for breakfast and was the same quality. They have a breakfast buffet that is very affordable as well. Definitely an older place but the food is good. Upstairs bar good for the wait times that occur on weekends.

Great service. Yummy food. Will revisit when we are in the area. We enjoyed the 8oz hamburger steak and the 5oz luncheon steak, complete with cornbread, salad and Mac & cheese. All delicious

this restaurant has a lot of potential. They had some great dishes and they had some okay ones. But I'm definitely glad I gave it a try and would do so again in the future.

historic restaurant with awesome service. the area seats a lot of people. wait can get long so try to get in a little early. tried the ribeye, shrimp, and lamb fries. food was good but i was expecting a better quality of beef. our cut had a quite a bit of silver skin. still, definitely worth a try if you are around town.

Absolutely wonderful grilled shrimp appetizer with rice, and great tasting salad. The steaks are absolutely wonderfully cooked tp perfection like the you want it, very, very tasty and moist and juicy and great!!!!! Thw service is absolutely great!!!!! The whole place is very, very great to go to for big groups or just 2 people.

Another highly overrated steak house, not worth the trip. Steak was paper thin ribeye overcooked and had little flavor. On other hand service was very good.

House salad dressing is awesome!! I had the Grilled salmon it was very good. Would love to go back

Perfect steaks, no seasoning, no fluff, no need for sauce. Just the great flavor of aged beef perfectly prepared. Same with the quality of the mushrooms, and the lamb fryes.

First time here and I will say my colleagues liked it very much. As for me ? I didn't care for the chicken fried steak.....(beef)....the batter coating over powered the dish...it tasted more like oil/grease used to cook it. Had it elsewhere and it was great. With that said.... will return if ever back in the city.

Food was fairly good but the restaurant is pretty disgusting. It's old and dirty. Floors, counters, booths, chairs are worn out and just look dirty. I'd hate to see the kitchen!

Food was definitely worth the money but they could work on the service more.

Great experience and dinner. Throwback and old school with wonderful service and great steaks. Loved the designated waiting area that was comfortable, quiet and included a separate bar. Really affordable compared to fancy steakhouses, where the food more than measured up. Will definitely return next time in OKC.

Great Ribeye, their homemade house dressing is excellent and the service is superb!

We had a few flies consistent buzzing and landing on us and our food. A waitress who rolled her eyes and tried to upsell every side and dish. And the excuse we got was "that what you get with an authentic location". I checked as I was leaving. They have a great pest prevention system at the door and an air lock. The flies must be coming from the kitchen!!!!

No doubt.....one of the best places I've eatin in a long time. Chicken fried steak and everything else, I tasted was absolutely delicious. An the service was perfect. Thank you Brandon you rock. We were a group of 14 and he treated us like a group of 2 people.

Amazing food I have been coming here since I was a kid and they have always had amazing food.

Finally made it after hearing so much about this place...went for lunch after church and had about a 15 minute wait...we ordered the ribeye and it was just ok...it was cooked how we ordered it but my wife and I felt it needed a bit more seasoning...the salad and bread was great...I can now say I went and tried it...

It was okay. I was expecting something more after reading the reviews, but service was okay and food was okay. The Mac and cheese needed more cheese. It was mostly noodle and shredded cheese on top. Steaks weren't cleaned well either. Just going to stick to Texas Roadhouse.

On March 11, 2014 myself and 2 friends went to Cattleman's Steakhouse for dinner. All I had been told I expected one of the best steaks I had ever had. And let me tell you at 49 years old I have eaten a lot of steaks. First off the menu does not say what size the steak is just says generous portion. When my steak arrived to the table it was swimming in blood and juice and about a 8 oz. portion. So as you see the portion was small in my thinking and at $24 was pricey, On a scale of 1 to 10 ,10 being the best

Great service. Great food . we come down here once a year and make sure we go.

Came here for dinner and was very busy. The wait for a table was approximately 20 mins (8:00PM). Hostess was very nice and since their was a wait ahe offered seating at the counter which was the same service. Food was very good starting with the salad with the house dressing. I ordered the Top Sirloin steak and was cooked just the way I ordered it which was medium. It was very juicy and had a great taste. The steak comes with a baked potato and rolls also the salad. The cost for the meal was reasonable . The server was very nice and checked up on me frequently. I would recommend this steakhouse to anyone coming to the Oklahoma city (Stockard ) OK area. Great meal!

Steak is what we went there for and it was not that good as expected. Except that, every things were good.

Great food and service. At times be prepared to wait because every one knows it is the best steak in OKC.

It was an extremely busy night January, 13 2018. But the service was great. However our food was over cooked to the point steak tasted like charcoal. Not worth the price whatsoever. Horrible to pay over 100$ for food that you don t even want to eat.

I wanted to take family from out of town to someplace unique to Oklahoma and chose Cattlemen's. We had a wonderful dinner. The atmosphere is unique yet cozy and Sharp, our waiter, was awesome!

Service was great! Food was good. Portions are good sized and prices resonable. I've has steaks more than twice the price that were not as good and came a la carte. This meal came with everything.(By the way a few of the more expensive steaks were fantastic and better.)

The steaks were amazing. We loved the salad with their house dressing. It was so good. We will definitely eat here again when we come to Oklahoma. We only had to wait for 20 minutes. We loved the upstairs waiting area and the history of the restaurant. You don t want to miss this place!

I dont know.where to begin. My family and I was so excited to eat here after reading the history and seeing all the reviews. But I have to say it was not only the worst steak I have ever eaten but our waiter was a awful as well. The best thing I had was the bake potatoe and it was a small one at that. My wife had the mash which tasted like instant potatoes. The mushrooms were boiled not sauteed. The steak oh my God the steak the thinnest porterhouse I have ever seen, tough, and i swear i think they boiled that as well then gave it. A quick sear.
My son had the hamburger he said that was ok. I will never go back. Tourist trap... this is my first ever review on a restaurant if that tells you anything. I had to take the time to warn others.

For the price, decor, service, and taste, I simply do not see how you could pass up ANY other steakhouse. I appreciate the history that lies behind this restaurant. However, my visit is once and done.

Salad dressing to die for. I love the steak here. The meals are simple, filling, and reasonably priced. The onion rings are honestly the best I've ever had... ever. Eat here.... do it!

Great dining experience. I don't know where I'd rate Cattlemen's, in terms of my favorite steaks. No doubt it's a good steak, but it's kind of irrelevant because Cattlemen's has been an Oklahoma institution since statehood and you have to eat here at least once.

Great place for a steak! Restaurant has been here for decades and I can see why. Not a fancy place but they have great food and friendly staff.

Food was average. I ve definitely had better and bigger steaks for less money. Service was good but it doesn t overcome the cost for average food.

Was disappointed in the steak, rib eye, it was about 1/2 think and tough. This was true of another in our party of six. The other four got a steak that was quite small. The salad had only lettuce and one tomato. I give it a 3 only because the service was good. For nearly 1,000 miles was was expecting something out of the ordinary. Would of have been better to have gone to Longhorns. Oh the bill lived up to expectance.

Awesome food and service. Best steak I've ever had. Salad dressing is greatest and Sam our waitress was fantastic! Can't say enough good about this steak house. If you haven't been you don't know what your missing! I highly recommend it and I eat there every chance I get.
