Well, it's one stop shop for all your winter clothing. All your Really good quality products and variety of them available. The staff is very helpful. I had to return a fleece jacket (bought online) and representative refunded me without any hassle. I highly recommend this place

Store opened in 2016. Good range of clothing and outdoors equipment but not a specialist gear shop.

A must visit if you want good quality travel accessories and winter wear. Products are very expensive but you get good deals during the Sale season

Very good products. Usually very pricey but had good sales going so I picked up a nice jacket (60% off). Wearing it now on a cold autumn evening while I type this. Pretty awesome.

Also, the salesperson was very helpful and definitely helped me make a decision. She was knowledgeable, warm, polite and patient. Can't expect much more.

This is a very nice store in the heart of the city with a number of staffs too. Unfortunately, there is no customer service at all in the upper floor. Maybe it is just the one bad experience from a single staff but a very unpleasant experience. I was trying to verify the price from the store against the online price. After waited for a while, the lady who served me did not even bother to check the price from the system but ask me to look at the price tag. Why does the store exist in the first place and hire the staff without any customer service skills? I would go online anyday anytime without the need to go through such an unpleasant customer service experience.

Very wide selection of items and big discounts available. From camping to hiking gear, and winter wear as well as normal clothes can all be found here.

Poor IT systems, website was showing old prices from a sale but when you placed these items in the online cart it reverted to higher pricing, false advertising.

Nice staff. They helped me find right products and recommended cool camping sites.

Great stock and plenty of choices besides the freedom to pick and try on easily, which is not like at other outlets, where they have lesser stocks and security cords which don't allow you to wear the items unless you ask a retail assistant

Kathmandu is a very cool store. Unfortunately no binoculars at that time available. But beside this it is always worth a visit!

This place is great if your looking to get some camp gear. They have a great selection of things at a reasonable price. My go to place for camping things

Today, Tuesday 22nd July 2019, I went looking for a new pair of causal shoes. I typically wear Solomon shoes as they suit my wide, high arched feet and provide plenty of support. I landed at Kathmandu Melbourne. The second floor is where the footwear is (along with many other things). When I entered the store, I was greeted by staff, when I went up stairs I was also greeted by staff, even called sir..... I went to the footwear section and selected a couple of different styles that I had my eye on for the past few weeks. I gained the attention of a young male staff member and he was right onto everything. He answered ALL my questions and explained the technology, brands and what the brands were doing in the market space. In the end I went with a new pair of Keen 1/4 shoes (black). Last year I led an Expedition (No Roads Expeditions) along the Kokoda Track wearing Keens and the were great for my feet. Hence, I thought I'd give their urban shoes a go. I was happy with the shoe, very impressed with the service AND Katmandu offer Afterpay, which can be a trap for the indisciplined person, but works a treat for me. Katmandu Melbourne, I've already planned to come back as I prepare for my September 2019 Expedition. Thanks heaps.

Picked up a lovely down jacket here, staff were kind and helped with directions. Ended up finding the right option for me which I'm still wearing daily. recommend.

Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff make for a great buying experience. Kathmandu seems like a good company that treats it's staff well and is seeking to create good products. I like buying here.

Staff members are always nice and if you keep an eye on prices you can land some good deals. Very good with clothes, accessories are rather so and so...

I went to the shop to buy a pair of boots for my mum, who lives in South America, so I brought her feet's measure in centimetres as I don t really have idea about us or Uk sizes.
I asked to a lady for a size that matches my mother s One and this sales girl instead of trying to help , she got very upset cos I didn't know my mother size in Uk or US.
Later on , she showed me her foot and said to me look how big is your mother feet like mine ?
I said I already have my mothers feet measure in centimetres!
I asked for help and she(the seller) said this is not the way that we sale shoes in this store even in this country .....

Excellent staff! They know their products, super helpful and friendly. Since I have a lot of Kathmandu gear myself, it's always nice to be able to talk to somebody who knows what it's about :)

Google should introduce negative staring because In this case Kathmandu do deserve that. Purchased a pant online. Received an email confirming that the item is ready for collection. Went to the store, manager advised the time isn't there and promised he will follow up on that and call me. Three days past, no call. Rang customer service to complaint and they also didn't bother calling me back. Went into the store again and and they said item isn't in stock. I will have to either wait or get refund. Naturally I will be asking for refund. Advice for other customers, avoid buying online from Kathmandu and don't expect any good customer service if your items are faulty or require a return. I wouldn't be buying from Kathmandu anymore after this horrible experience.

Geeze, I mean, there's a nice selection or things here. Bought some emergency bike lights. For $30, it's just LEDs and batteries guys. First pair didn't even work...

Very helpful staff, had a small issue with a zip pay transaction which was sorted very well without a fuss.

Very very rude staff. It was closing time asked the staff member "Are u close?" and staff member replied can't you see the lights off. Will never ever spend money at this shop.

Good winter sale. Got what i needed in my budget pretty quick

There are many very beautiful and interesting articles for various sports activities. The staff are friendly and professional, the prices are a bit high, however the items are of a high quality. Very interesting when there are discounts.

Hubby bought me a superb jacket that's so warm it'll be for July's snowfields!

I love the place and the quality of their products. The lady at the cash was very kind. Unfortunately, it was impossible to talk to anyone on the floor. I could not even get any eye contact with a member of the staff. It looks like they were busy... Well this is what I guess. This is very unfortunate I could not get help from any staff while I was looking for a coat.

Many of the staff were waiting to serve me as I walked in which was nice.
