Very horrible organization that has been treating their employees as indentured servants then actual workers. The hierarchy had no idea how to run a company/organization. They are currently forcing employees to work during this horrible time even though they aren t considered essential or necessary while they allow workers who are actually necessary to stay home and continue to reap the many benefits that the workers who are currently struggling to take care of their own families. If you care even a little about any of the workers who are currently being forced to work while management stays in the comfort of their own homes please don t support this organization.

Hello Marcia Bolivar,

Hello Marcia Bolivar,

I was looking for financial assistance to pay rent, I got a call today from Miss. Franco, she kindly ask me a few questions and I respond to her questions with honesty.
I usually work in the restaurants industry, and because of covi 19 I'm not working right now, but hopefully I'll find a job and work again...immigrants are hardworking people. So, going back to the interview I had over the phone, I was told that since I wasn't working I could not be helped by the Charity? I didn't understand at all to be honest with you. Who would be asking for help, if everyone were working? I would never Ask For Help if I Were Working, never.
Unfortunately, I'm the position of someone who needs help just to get me through this harsh times. I didn't do anything to be in this position, I guess Coronavirus 19 put us in this position of needing financial assistance to pay rent.
I believe for an immigrant if you dont pay rent, you can't sleep well. Yes, I couldn't afford to pay rent for the months of June and July. To be honest, Third Phase, the Restaurants were supposed to be opening back for business on the second week of July, but it didn't happen.
Anyway, I was convinced that I would be getting help from this Charity because of my situation, IRONICALLY, help was denied to me because I wasn't working???
I know I'm not working! You know what is happening out there? Ok, lots of people are partying, drinking, playing fireworks, etc because they recieved The blessed Covi19 Stimulus Checks But not me because I dont qualify for that, I have paid taxes for more than 15 years but We're just not getting any forms of financial assistance from the federal government. It is what it is, we have to dance with that. It's our problem not yours right?
Life is tough, there is too much beurocracy everywhere.
Please, dont deny help to those who need help, because may be They do!
Even at this time of covi19, there're millions of immigrants whom need help.
Charity institutions are built and pledge to Help people who need help...
Where in the Bible says, You have to be working in order to be helped?
Well, if it were the case Charity Institutions wouldn't exist, would they?
What is going with the definition of Charity?
Where in the Bible says that Jesus Christ didn't help the poor because he/she wasn't working?

I dont get it, to be honest with you, Mrs. Marcia Bolivar, how is that someone who needs help because of what is happening out there, doesn't get help? Just a little help could get someone to get back on their feet again.
Something is better than nothing.
Especially in this times of Covi 19.
Look, the federal government is dishing out $400 to each individual in the United States. It's something right? they must be really happy. Immigrants like me, don't qualify for that besides paying taxes like everyone. Life is tough for immigrants in the NYC.

They do great things for people, but if you are seeking abortion care, they do not provide this. They don't even mention the word abortion - they say this: "We provide support with the decision to raise a child or plan for adoption." They will not help you with a choice for abortion.

Received no help, some say there is a Pantry here but were you given access to the pantry? Why call a family on Christmas Day to come in while they had a Santa Claus there and they did not invite the little girl to visit with the Santa? Had her wait with her mom for NOTHING. Made them come down Christmas Day as if they had some kind of help for the family in crisis, it was as if they wanted to have a big laugh on the poor family and make them watch their Christmas celebration. The family used their last ten dollars to get there when they couldve used it for food but because they thought they were going to get some kind of help they took the risk. Besides that they didn't even help with as little as a winter coat or food from their supposed pantry. Caseworker NEVER even called back about other issues the family needed help with. What a shame, total disgrace and sinful.

They first sent me to the incorrect HRA { social services office). Then they sent me to another of CCBQ Homebase Office which turns out to NOT serve my area code. Shouldn't they know these things? Michael Durante is arrogant and talks down to people.
