I am forever grateful to Desiree Minder and her legal assistant, Jennifer Whinnery, for helping me win my disability case. On Jan. 7, 2015 I suffered a stroke and filed a disability case shortly thereafter. I initially hired another firm and after over a year and a half I discovered they had mishandled my case and lied to me.

I contacted Catania and Catania through their website and Jennifer contacted me almost immediately. In only a month they were able to gather all my medical records (first firm didn't even do that much), reviewed my case with me, and told me what to expect at my hearing. When it came time for the hearing, Desiree called me the day before and we went over everything. On the day of the hearing, I arrived about 30 minutes before the hearing. Desiree was already there waiting for me. In the hearing, she went over all my medical info, asking me questions about my limitations, how my life had changed, the type of work I did, etc. She was so thorough the judge asked me only one basic question about my education. Then it was time for the vocational expert to testify. All he could say was there was no type of work he could recommend for me. Slam dunk win! Desiree was extremely knowledgeable, Jennifer was responsive and answered all my questions professionally and politely.
