After going to Franco s for over 30 + years, you would thing that we should be treated nicely. They have done many affairs for us, the food is good and quite interesting since Eugene, Franco s son took over. Being that this was one of the restaurants,my mother loves and frequents, we decided to have her 90 birthday dinner here. I spoke to Eugene, made reservations and told him that it would be nice if he or his mom, Antonietta ,would come for 5 minutes to wish her a happy 90th. Well no one showed up, the food of all days was mediocre, service by Leo was excellent...You would have thought that after 30 + years, they would have had a small cake for her, a glass of wine...better yet, show up for 5 minutes...It seems to me that their only interest is $$$ I frequent other restaurants and the owners go to the table, once in a while an extra appetizer, something special for a birthday... not here.
Received your very rude response.Your Mom wrote to me and I was about to respond because hers was a totally a different message. Your parents always said that we were like family. They went to my Dad's funeral and I went to your Grandma's funeral. We felt that being that my Mom cared so much about your family, that at least one member would say hi for 5 minutes. Look, through your words and your actions, you have told us very clearly that, even after 35 years, you do NOT value our business so we will not be returning to your establishment. I think the point you are missing is that it's not all about your customers' $$, there also needs to be a level of respect, which is clearly missing here. Great Italian food with excellent service, nice wine list, fried calamari was perfectly done which is an indication of how most of the other dishes will also rate. Call for reservations on weekend cause many locals frequent this establishment.

Not consistent in food prepared pizza part is in disrepair. The restaurant is overpriced for a parking lot view. Instead of cleaning with a sweeper they have someone working there use a broom and blow the dust every where

The service was awesome, food was extremely fresh and flavorful. We arrived at 3pm and needed a table for 11 people. They gave us an enormous amount of garlic knots and marinara sauce(yummy) to munch on while they set the table. Wait staff was very attentive to our needs and we wanted for nothing. Food was delicious, service, top notch, and I will return here with my boyfriend very soon because I live in Fort Lee. Thank you for your service as this was repast meal and everyone went home happy. At the moment you come to that place the stuff gives you a great feeling. Very courteous team, it is a kind place to enjoy with friends or with your date. very good meals, qualified chef de cuisine, comfortable cost and excellent service. Warmly recommended.

Slow service... They were understaffed. Poor guy seemed to be waiting the lunch crowd by himself. The sausage was over cooked, but broccoli rabe was very good.

The slowest restaurant I ve ever been to. ONE WAITER, ONE BUSBO! No customer and took 10 min to take my order, 25! For ONE SALAD. And it s been 16 min and no sign of pasta coming anytime soon. If you have all the time in the world go for it. If you have places to be, don t bother.

I used to really like Franco's--it's our neighborhood Italian restaurant--but their prices are now through the roof; some are double what they were just three years ago. It's just not worth it anymore.
The food is delicious , prices and portions are great..both dining in or take-out works for me..
Excellent service. Since they have a zone system in place, you always have someone able to clear dishes, answer questions, etc. The staff was super friendly and the bar service was great. A affordable dinner for two for under $50 (bruschetta appetizer, two individual pizzas, one bottled beer and one cocktail).
Definitely worth the visit, wish I lived in the area, is be a regular.

Northern NJ is full of little Italian places, but this one is extremely good. Very easy to get to between Ft. Lee / Cliffside Park and the rest of NJ. Definitely worth an extra trip, as it is obvious they truly care about great food here.
I ve been always passing by this place, this place separates into restaurant and pizza/take-out section. We did the takeout of 2 pasta and whole pie of the pizza AND garlic knots. The price was reasonable also the taste was decent. Only one down side was when I went to pick up the foods, the staffs (they looked young kids) were talking and laughing, created the atmosphere crowded and distracted..

One of the best pizza restaurants I've found here in Fort Lee and the surrounding area. The dough is perfect. You can order delivery straight from the Yelp Ap. I've tried 3 other pizzerias in the area. None of them were worth visiting. Hard, cardboard textured dough. Franco's does it right! I'm now a happy, returning customer. DJ AFINO
