Simply the best Italian restaurant in Bergen county, no doubt. I shouldnt call this place a restaurant, it's just a heaven in Fort Lee. Amazing owner, amazing staff, amazing food, amazing atmosphere. Definitely worth going.

Staff was attentive and the place looks really nice. However the food wasn t very good, the pasta and meat sauce was very watery and didn t have any flavor. The pizza was decent but nothing to rave about. The best part of the meal was the cheesecake which was good!

Used to be our go to Italian restaurant in Fort Lee. Then the kids took over remodeled and it never was the same. Been there since 1972 still good pizza from the counter. The restaurant though is not consistent. Service is also lacking. Loved their linguine and white clam sauce when Franco made it, now it's just average. Hope they improve soon we miss the old place.

Ordered chicken parm for pick up. the chicken was over fried and the marinera sauce was too salty.

The best home cooked meal in a restaurant you can get. I love their Nona pizza and my partners favorite is the chicken francaise. We have been going there for over 20 years and never get tired of their food. Gene and Melissa are wonderful. Great family place. The waiters are wonderful too.

I have been a long time customer. The food is good in the restaurant. But the last two times I ordered gluten free pizza and regular pizza have been burnt not good. I think it might be the pizza staff you hired recently. I m disappointed because it s hard to find gluten free pizza in this area. I hope you can resolve this issue ASAP.

Family friendly restraunt. The portions are great and the food tastes like it came out of an italian grandmother's kitchen.

This is one of the places that has been here since my kids were in elementary schools. It's nice to come back for a slice of pizza that is still sooooo goooood. Love it everytime.

Last night Franco s Metro catered a small gathering, and we couldn t have been happier with the food, delivery, quality and presentation!

Good food, especially the pizza. I think the rest of the Italian food is good but certainly not great in my book. Slightly better than Olive Garden in my humble opinion. The restaurant side appears a bit fancier and upscale, and even the service is pretty good, but in the end, it still feels more like a glorified pizzeria. (No offense).

Still, for a small, neighborhood food establishment, it does a good job of offering a good balance of plenty of menu choices, and some of the fare is pretty good while others are just okay. Pizza is good here, but it seems to come from next door anyway, where the pizzeria side of the restaurant operates. Typical food choices like chicken parm and spaghetti with meatballs are good but again, not great! Some items, like the linguine with clams is not very good at all. Not a fan of any of the seafood dishes here, but generally, most of the pasta dishes are decent. For sides, the Italian fries and the large-sized buffalo wings are pretty good though.

Service is very good overall, even when they are busy. The servers are friendly, helpful, and attentive for the most part. The ambience, like I said before, is just okay for me. I feel like the decor tries too hard to cover up the fact that this is a pizzeria. From the colorful laminated menu to the cheesy strip mall that it's located in, we cannot call this place upscale really. But all in all, for a small, local restaurant, this could be considered a neighborhood gem by others. For me, it's just a slightly better option than some of the typical pizzerias in town.

we usually head to the double tree hotel in fort lee and eat at the restaurant they have downstairs but due to COVID it was closed and we found franco s. We were immediately greeted by a happy man who i m assuming to be the manager and asked us where d we like to sit and took us to a great table. we were greeted immediately by our waitress who had blonde hair. she was very nice and funny and suggested great items. I will say this has to be the best tasting italian food i ve ever had in my 28 years of living. My family said the same. Clean restaurant, nice people, great food and drinks, i will stop by when i m in fort lee again. thank you for great service! I would definitely recommend.

Franco's Metro is outstanding! I've always had a great meal here. Thebretsurant has two sides, a pizza place and a formal restaurant. I've only been in the latter. The staff is very attentive, the food is excellent and prices are reasonable

This place has the most delicious Italian cuisine prepared with care and love! Food is still fresh even when you order it for take out. The owner is so sweet and caring.

Great unassuming, friendly, warm atmosphere and terrific food. Great place for casual dining with full bar, and they cater. Found them in DiningOut Magazine and really enjoyed. Will be back often.

It s hard to eat soft bread in the United States. It s delicious, slightly salty and delicious. The seafood is also very fresh. The steak is soft and tender. It s a wonderful meal, but the whole taste is salty. Salty people can choose less sauce
