This dealership is the best experience that my family and I have had in leasing and buying cars! I would recommend this dealership to anyone who needs a reliable car, reliable service, and supportive staff when making a big decision. I just bought my 2016 Chevy Trax at the end of it's lease recently and could not be happier!

My salesman Bob Fedus was spectacular! He negotiated a fair deal and then walked me through the entire purchase, step by step. He honestly could not have made it any easier, well unless he agreed to make the payments, LOL. I would not hesitate to return again to purchase another vehicle from him/Carter Chevrolet.

We bought our car at Carter and after four months ...

We bought our car at Carter and after four months noted that the car shook when putting on the brakes. We brought it in and found that it needed new rotors and brake pads. There was no haggling or pleading, They decided to fix the car at no charge to us. They wanted to make sure that we were satisfied and that we got the best car available. The work was done in a timely manner and when I returned at the time specified my car was waiting for me in the lot (they even washed it for me). They did a fine job on my brakes.

This is a used car. I have never known a dealer to stand like this behind their products or be as friendly and helpful as they were. Ray, the service manager was especially helpful. He arranged for a ride home when it was determined that it would take a few hours to fix my car and offered to pick me up and bring me back (I live over 10 miles away).

We had a very pleasant experience buying our car, but the service and commitment to customer service has made me a big fan. I am new to the state and have been looking for a dealer to work on my cars. I found the people at Carter Chevrolet (especially Ray) to be honest and people of integrity. I will be back for any maintenance that is needed and will look here first when I look to buy a car in the future. Carter was recommended to us by a friend, who told us that they have an excellent reputation. We are glad we followed their advice.

Ray is a very funny man, his great personality really helped ease the stress and tension that I had when I arrived. They picked the right person to deal with the public.

From start to finish, the process to getting a new truck was seamless. I was in contact with their internet sales person for a few weeks trying to figure out exactly what I wanted and needed. With the entire COVID-19 pandemic, they were very safe in how they continued doing business and Kadir was very helpful throughout this process. After deciding on the truck I wanted, which they had in stock on their lot fortunately, I was able to trade in my old car and take home my truck. The transition between sales staff and managerial staff was very smooth. I felt like my concerns were addressed very well and quickly. I have tried to purchase vehicles from other dealerships, but I found them to be not so transparent. Carter was very open and up front about necessary costs and fees. It was a relief to hear these things throughout the process and not just at the end before signing. Kadir was very kind to follow up after the purchase and I look forward to doing future business with them when I need another vehicle.

I recently went to the Carter for the first time to obtain an estimate on body damage. John and Casey gave me a fair estimate and even promised me a loaner vehicle if I was willing to wait a couple of weeks for the appointment. I scheduled an appointment two weeks out and showed up before they opened to drop my truck off. John took me in and processed me within 5 minutes. Within two hours, my vehicle was ready for pick up. Having purchased Chevrolets at dealerships all over New England and New York, I can tell you that this place has their act together. Their customers are definitely the priority. Thank you!!

I had a great experience working with Leo the sales man to trade my truck he is really good salesman he has experience and the patient to answer all my questions to make sure that was The vehicle that I was looking for Unfortunately when I was time to take my truck home the truck has some scratches all the way around the truck and is a black truck you can see every single scratch in 3-D and the financial person call me a month later to go back and re-sign all the paperwork because my payment will be higher for misunderstanding or mistake making the paperwork The truck is missing some parts on there is two months later and I haven t get those parts for my truck it is really frustrating other than the dealer is very clean and The people working there is very friendly

Mark Cross spent no less then 40 minutes setting up the On Star, bluetooth, and other options with my wife. Ensuring she was comfortable with everything before she drove off the lot. I was so impressed, we came back the next day with our son and he purchased a new vehicle also.

In all my years of purchasing vehicles I have never had a better experience than what I had at Carter Chevy! The entire team made the entire process fun and stress free, at no time did i ever feel pressure to make a purchase or get into a vehicle i didn't want. Very easy car buying experience. Got a great deal on my car, the staff was incredibly friendly and easy to work with, and it took very little time. One test drive for an hour, then 3 days later I walked out with the keys after signing the paperwork for only 30 minutes. A great place to buy a car! I highly recommend this dealership.

My lease vehicle was to be delivered on a Thursday. I was called shortly after 11am and told my vehicle was on its way. I left work early to meet the delivery driver. After 4 hours of waiting I called the dealer at 3 pm to find out the status of my vehicle. I was transferred and put on hold multiple times before I was told someone would call me back. When I was called back I was advised that the vehicles check engine light had come on they told the driver to bring it back to the dealership to be fixed. No one called to tell me this!!!! I lost money leaving work early and waiting around! I was then told my car would be delivered the next day. Again I had to call the dealership to find out details. We agreed on a 2:30pm delivery. My vehicle arrived shortly before 3pm. There were multiple deep scratches on the driver side panel by the seat. The fuel was under 3/4 tank when I was promised a full tank. Once again I missed out on work for the new delivery date. I called the salesperson about the scratches and was advised to text pictures which I did immediately and heard nothing in response. Very disappointed with how everything was handled after I signed the papers and was a sure deal. Lastly the lease was signed with 84 miles on the odometer. At delivery the odometer was 222 miles. Quite a difference and inconvenience at 25 cents a mile over when I was not responsible for the check engine light coming on.

Thank you to Justin, Bob, Paul, and Mackey for making this such an easy transaction. We were coming from a little bit away and had a tight schedule due to little children. Everything was easily handled over the phone and via email. We showed up and within about 30 minutes were on our way. It was really just a seamless process, and I would highly recommend this dealer.

For me, car shopping is like pulling teeth-- an unbearable chore that I never look forward to. The high pressure sales, arrogant sellers and level of misinformation given to customers makes me very uncomfortable.

Which is why my experience buying from Carter Chevrolet was so great. I worked with a great, knowledgeable sales person who helped me find the car I wanted, in a very comfortable and casual sales setting. I never felt pressured, or as if I were being strong armed in to a purchase.

Having only had my new car for one day, I can't really say exactly how happy I am with it (these things take time to adjust to, obviously) but I could not have had a better sales experience on the transaction itself.

If I had one drawback in this experience, it was regarding my trade in... I traded in a 2005 Chevy Cobalt with 235,000 miles on it (I loved to drive it, obviously) and I feel I did not receive as much value on the trade in as I could have, and little reassurance that the car I loved would go to a good home instead of being sold for parts. However, I understand that much of that is based less on practicality and more on being a sentimental and proud car owner who loved and appreciated his vehicle more than anyone else possibly could... and I did appreciate the candor and honesty of the Business Manager with me regarding my old car.

My new car, a 2013 Chevy Cruze, is the fifth car I have owned. But my experience purchasing it from Carter Chevrolet was far and away the best car buying experience I have ever had, and for that I thank them.

Ray and Amanda always go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Ray took care of my original service appointment, oil-lub and a broken antenna. On my way out I went to ask him a question but he was busy with another customer. Amanda saw me waiting and offered assistance. Amanda even got some body issues taken care of under warranty, that I tought were not covered.

While waiting for my car I went into the showroom and started looking at cars, John was very helpful, showing me all the Cruze's in the lot, while it was raining. He knows his cars! Past and present. I was very impressed with his knowledge.

My experience with Carter both on the Service and Sales side has been outstanding. My commitment to Carter began with the personal care and concern that Ray in Service presented to my family and I. They are honest and forthcoming and do all they can to make the inconvenience of repairs affordable and manageable. Ray is not just a wonderful service rep, he is a good person. My positive experiences in service prompted us to by a new car from Carter and I was pleased to be met with the same care and attention from Ron in the Sales department. Our purchase experience was not bogged down with pressure, communication was amazing and the process seamless. Carter is truly a family dealership and when it comes to customer service they do get it right.

I waisted a lot of gas and time going back and forth trying to fix the leak in ac , It should have been fixed 100% the first time with a dealer and the die they put it to find leaks. They said it is all set and no leaks found .After going back the second time in less than 2 weeks it stopped blowing cold air, returned it to have them tell me it is leaking from a gasket. Then 1 week later returned again 3 leaks later .They sent it to an outside ac garage to fix.

Dealer will not honor the warranty on my 50k chevy 2500hd. The front brakes have been replaced 5 times yes 5 times in 35 days, as well as master cylinder lines and hoses. The truck us at Cargill chevy today, and I will be paying out of pocket, to be safe. The district manager Peter Larsen was screaming at us on the phone demanding the loner truck back and insisted we had to take our truck back even though they did not fix the brakes. Carter chevy has caused much stress. Lost time from work,sleepless nights and have ruined our happiness leading to our up coming wedding. I have been a chevy guy my entire life, I am outraged and appalled at how we are being treated. I look forward to speaking to the v.p. of sales and marketing. We feel that Mr Peter Larsen is a very bad representation of your company and product.

Miguel Rios helped us buy a used Ford Fusion and we couldn't have been any happier with the service and professionalism from Miguel and the rest of the team at Carter. It was probably the lowest priced car sold that day but I'm sure we were treated the same as if we'd bought a new Corvette. The car was priced fairly, prepped perfectly and has served us very well.

It was great working with everyone at Carter Chevrolet. I have worked with the sales department purchasing my new vehicle and had an excellent sales rep no one attempted to push me into anything. I also worked with the body shop who helped repair a part on my car. I purchased an accessory and worked with the parts and service department that helped me find what I wanted, order it, and install it. Excellent dealership and customer service oriented.

April '17: Great service, 2012 Malibu 150K, needed to keep car overnight to get all work done, Bill provided me a free loaner WOW!, I asked for oil chg., trans fluid chg., brk fluid flush. fuel injection cleaning, I needed new breaks all around and they notice wheel bearing service needed due to a bent rim I had recently replaced due to vibration. They adjusted alignment to be sure everything good to go. Did everything right. Drives like new, love the service and the car. Thanks Bill and Carter Service dept!.

I can't say enough good things about Carter Chevrolet. Incredible salrs staff...no pressure, no games, no going to check with the manager nonsense. Lots of knowledge , lots of patience. Same is true of their service and body shops.

I have been taking my truck to get serviced at Carter Chevrolet since I bought it back in 2014. I am disappointed to see that the change in ownership of the dealer has changed the style of customer service in the service department. I can no longer hold out hope that it will change. Prior to the new owners if there was an issue with the service and I had to bring my vehicle back to the dealer the service reps would not only apologies a number of times but they made sure that the customer was taken car of, like a complimentary car wash, oil change, or they discounted the next service. I never had to ask. It was like a family owned business and they took care of the customers.
Unfortunately, I will be looking for a new shop to get the service done on my truck.

After years of being frustrated by games that car salesmen play, it was refreshing (and surprising) to have such an honest, up front salesmen! The price given via email was the price when we got to the dealership. No games, no add ons. The knowledge of the details of the vehicle was outstanding and we were taken care of on our timeline.

wouldn't you think a dealership would have an obligation to be clear about the terms of a lease. 39 month lease and 1000 miles per month. Fine print is the lease only includes 36000 miles. Pay for 39 months, get 36 months worth of miles. Ugh.

A great dealership. So far, our sales person, Mark, is top-notch. The only problem we had was that the financial person Justin and Mark did not get their act together and we thought that Mark said that we could get the same rate that AAA offered us. Justin was the financial person and he did not get the true story of what we had told Mark. Our experience so far, great! We will be picking the car up on Saturday and it is a Corvette. I hope that Mark is there and I worry I got my husband driving the car home not knowing physically how to use the instruments. being a caring wife I just don't want him falling around with all the wipers and radio and everything else on the way home when I will not be in the car with him. I've heard horror stories of people bringing sports cars home and crashing. And if Mark is reading this, please explain everything to him before he takes the car home.

Brought car in for accident to shop. Get it back and notice they used a cheap plastic wheel well that was garbage and didn't fit. John said they stopped making the interior wheel well for my car, so I called dodge dealership myself to find out. I immediately find out it's not discontinued and I can get it myself! I bring it back and they put correct part on once I confront them. Also, the new wheel they put on had no wheel weights... I told them the wheel had no weights and wasn't balanced two separate times, and both times after I get the car back the wheel still has no weights and is not balanced! Third time I speak to someone else and make sure its done as I'm watching. Also, they charged $300 for a used headlight. I go online and can fond two new ones for $300 or one new one for less than $300! Here is what really pissed me off and ensured that my trust of strangers driving my car is completely gone... I have a manual 5 speed. I was in the car as this guy is driving it to look for something. HE GRINDS MY GEARS AS HE SHIFTS! HE GRINDS THE GEARS! That is such a peve of mine and, along with burning my clutch, is the worst thing you could do to my car! I am sitting next to him as this idiot does this... Its like he's never driven a manual before! Imagine what these and other people do to your car when your not in it!?!? This was the last straw. I won't be back here and my trust for anyone else driving my car is non existent!

Geoffrey Jones, the salesperson was very keen to go over our need. He was knowledgeable and co-operative. He spent ample time with us in reviewing best options for the car we had in mind. Nej, his manager was very cordial and approved a decent discount. He explained complete process and clarified even minor points and queries that we had. Nej provided valuable tips to save money too. We appreciate their honesty in disclosures and guidance which was quite helpful. Both Geoffrey and Nej waited after the office hours to ensure that we drove away in our new car. All in all, it was a great experience for us to get our Chevy 2020 car ! Keep up the good work Carter Chevy !!

On one hand, I feel as if the mechanics, at Carter Chevrolet, always find something else that is wrong with my spouse's vehicle besides, the issues that brought the car to Carter's "door." Also they love finding something wrong even in a routine oil change. In addition they never find all the problems with her vehicle, the first time and sometimes the second time going in for a fix.
On the other hand, the technicians are good at admitting their mistakes and returning any fees from those errors. Carter Chevrolet coupons are one of their "saving graces." Their customer service is really good; the receptionists are very pleasant and knowledgeable.

The 2013 Equinox was the third car we purchased from Ron Slon. The sales experience as usual was directly aimed at "our needs" not what Carter Chevrolet wanted to sell. We left with the feeling that we got a good deal and the knowledge we needed to opperate all the new "fancy" things in the car. The sales management team does not try to sell anything that we did not need.

We have had well over ten-years experience with Carter Chevolet Service and find them to take excellent of the car and pay attention to keeping our expenses down.
