Movie was to start at 11:29,really didn't start till 11:55.
More previews and ads than movie.
Pricey, limited selection
Not going time
The theater is really good but the seats are not that much comfortable. The screen is very small and not properly alligned to the seatings.
Clean, lots of snack options. I wish it were a bit more secure, especially nowadays.
We went to see Midway. (Really good movie by the way.) Our experience at AMC was good. They had two or three ticket counters open and short lines at the concession. The theater was just the right temperature and not too crowded. The sound was great and we had a really good experience.
The theater itself is good and clean. bathrooms were lacking cleaning and weren't being checked on as frequently as they should have been.
Times on the board for seating did not match time posted on the theater room entrance. Incredibly loud. One person asked twice if it could be turned to a lower volume. Another man screamed towards the projector to lower the volume. Finally my wife and i had to leave along with another couple in front of us because of the loudness. We will wait till the movie comes out for our TV. This is the last time my family and i will use this movie theater until they get there volume under control. Also the 27 minutes of previews was far too long. We paid for a movie, not previews.
Nice enough theater, but it would've been nice if they would've turned on the air conditioning. I was sweating through the whole movie.
Tried seven different fountain pop machines & all but one was out of Diet Coke & that one was out of Cherry vanilla flavoring. Employees just shrugged & couldn t care less. An awful lot of money for a pop I didn t even want. Doubt I ll bother coming back here.
AWESOME a really relaxing theater. The staff is really nice.
Very good place to watch movies. Excellent popcorn.
Friendly , family atmosphere that serves over priced alcoholic beverages. Win / sorta win situation
Very happy and even more impressed with the bar service now offered at the movies. First time seeing that. Always happy when I come here, except for the over priced drinks and snacks.
Usely always friendly. Super clean place with many different choices of foods and movies. Highly recommend the amc movie pace for 19.99 a month.
Went to a 2:30 showing, after 30 minutes of trailers and random ads, the movie started around 3:00. Was way to loud and kept peaking the sound system, we had to ask them to lower it twice. Chairs were broken and torn. Used to be a nice theater.
I bought tickets online so I didn't have to wait in ticket line only to have to wait in a long food line there were several people working counter & then they disappeared like they went on break! Then just as my back started hurting they have this thing called a premier line where they get waited on before everyone else & a group of those showed up & we had to wait on them even though we were in line longer! Ridiculous we were lucky to have made it to our movie on time! I don't think premier lines should be allowed! I thought it was funny when cashier said next premier in line & some kids that were waiting in front of us in regular line rushed up there! I wish everyone would do this & boycott that premier line bull! This is why we rarely go to or enjoy going to the movies!
Standard premium cost theatre on the southwest side of town. Mediocre is the adjective I would use to describe the theatre. Just the same as any other establishment of similar function, the refreshments are extremely overpriced, the screens are large, and the place stays clean enough to avoid any excess dissatisfaction.
the bartender "Sammie" was very helpful getting my concessions. she is also very beautiful.
Theater needs cleaned. The bathrooms are gross. Looks like they have not been cleaned in weeks. Went on a sunday morning so you would think they should be clean from night before. Seats also need updates badly most are broken or just very worn.
Always a goodtime when there are decent movies to watch.
Would like to see them mix it up with some hard to find classics more often.
Where's the bar?
The staff was extremely rude at all positions during my visit. If the movie I was seeing wasn't as good as it was then I would have walked out and demanded a refund. I've never felt the need to write a review for an establishment that I've visited other than this, sitting in my seat I felt disrespected and belittled. Absolutely dissatisfied with everything about my experience other than the movie I watched.
The theater seats are wonderful the movie was great and I always enjoy being there
Theater is average. Volume of movie was ridiculously loud.
I am a amc premier member what a deal i find myself going to the movies for no reason. Lol
I wonder if I can get my wireless headphone back. if you guys find it. I lost it Oct 17. It's black. Plzzz respond . If there's anyway I could get it back.
Dont try watching Avenger Endgame here. Fire alarm went off twice during the show on opening night.
Your typical AMC. Only downside here is it's not really that clean, and the seats aren't that comfortable. But their seats do have retractable arm rests so you and your partner can keep each other warm.
The theater seating is fine, but they over charge for other things. An example, bottle water was $4.95. Popcorn was over priced also. The men's room floor was wet. It looked like a urinal overfilled onto the floor. The floor was wet in front of all of them.
I was here to enjoy a movie and accidentally dropped a drink I had just purchased. The manager saw my problem and immediately gave me another drink to replace MY mistake. Great customer service! Kudos to Carmike Cinemas at Jefferson Point!
Horrible theatre, I have been a regular here since it opened and was called Rave.
Now, now it's just dirty, lights stay on when movie plays, twice this year movie screen does not even come on at all. Just terrible experience and you lost a customer for life. I will rather drive extra 20 minutes to go to other theater then come to this place. Wow such shame what this theater turned into.
Lots of choices with all of the screens. Got a senior discount also.
Coming here was thrilling. The place was clean and there staff friendly. It's amazing to me how huge it felt to be sitting in a theater again. My heart was skipping to be here again. Thank you for trying to keep this ray of light shining! I hope to visit again soon.
This place is terrible. Falling apart. Bathrooms are disgusting. No paper towels. Movies always start late. Just saw Rise of Skywalker. 3:45 movie. Started late. 25 mins of previews. The movie really didn't start until 4:15. This is unacceptable. No wonder I hate going to the movies these days. If you really need to see a movie do yourself a favor and go to Regal.
Dressed up for our show (suicide squad) and my boyfriend was told to wash lipstick and eyeshadow off since we didn't go all out i just used what i could to make him look like joker a little. Was told they encourage dressing up but not joker and its only because of the shooting? They also waited to tell us when we walked through the door and spent the ridiculous amount on tickets. I will not be going back. Uncomfotable seats. Rude people. And expensive tickets and snacks.
Wow. Very dirty and it smells awful. What happened to this place? Does it need new ownership? I will travel far away to go to a movie rather than sit in this place. Come on people. Clean up your act please.
Dirty theatres, expensive movies and food, inept staff, I stopped going there
I've been going here since I was a teen back in the beginning of 2000, when it was known as the Rave, then Carmike, now AMC. The food/snacks are really good, the staff is great and they are putting more money into this one, than the one on Dupont Rd. Bathrooms are older with the styling and color scheme, but there's nothing wrong with that if kept clean and working. I've watched more movies here than any other theater, and continue to do so. Sad the ticket booths at the front are no longer used or necessary as of this year, but the AMC app is convenient, ordering tickets, food and drinks ahead of time is better.
What is the point of a QR code if I still have to wait in line for a ticket? If I wanted to wait in line for my ticket I would have done that from the start and not wasted my time getting buying my ticket ahead of time and then waiting in line to be told that they can't accept it and that I have to go to the back of the ticket window.
Imax is the way to go. I will say the seats are showing their age and could use an update.
Be prepared to spend $50 for 2 tickets and 1 bucket of popcorn and a soda. Nice average theatre.
I enjoy the theater and quality of the movie and atmosphere. For the most part moving going is an enjoyable experience. Sometimes the temperature in the theater is very cold! My wife insists on bringing a blanket we have set through more than one screening with our coats on. I have never had a bad interaction with the employees they are always courteous and helpful. I have had issues as an AMC premier member. The membership has many benefits most of which a VIP line. The employees do not seem to honor the VIP line and always just shout out next in line. I pay the extra $15 a year for special VIP service and the employees do not seem to have a grasp on what that means. With all that said, I do not think it is a bad theater and witch about 20 movies here a year.
Ticket prices were $1 more than listed on their web site for the show we saw. Lights were turned up as the credits began --- felt as if they were trying to hurry is out of the theater.
The staff isn't that friendly but it's always clean
The last several movies I went to there were tons of broken seats. It's a problem in most of the theatre's in Carmike's.
The theater over all is normally the most clean on everything and also they are very set on the rules here. You'll normally always be id for a rated R movie. Favorite movie theater in fort Wayne tho just because the popcorn is always fresh.
I just watched Avengers: Endgame in 3D here. It was good. My only complaint is the person taking the tickets didn't hand out 3D glasses to me when she took my ticket.
It was comfortable and clean Nice staff, wish they had those recliner chairs though! Wonderful sound!
Movies at AMC are a great experience popcorn is always great
Dirty, run down. The speakers are either worn out or the sound deadening has come loose, because there was a distinct echo through the entire movie.
Fine theater for me, screens aren't the best but are passable if you can ignore small pinpricks, which is pretty easy if the movie is good enough to distract from it. Staff is okay, not worse or better than your average run-of-the-mill movie theater, but that's fine with me. The only reason it isn't four stars is because their phone number is on a constant "we are overrun with calls, try again" setting. I have called about a dozen different times in the past couple months and I get the same thing. I'm pretty sure they're phone lines are booked at 10am on a Tuesday... Open up calls or please just get rid of your phone number, it does get pretty irritating. Other than that it would be four stars for me.
Rave was better, large popcorn or drink and free refills. Now it's like $10 for a large popcorn/ drink and like $3 refills.......
First of all, you should get the name correct. It is Jefferson Pointe, not Jefferson Point. Can't believe you would spell the name of the business incorrectly. The last time we visited, which was about a month or so ago, this theater had gone downhill in a BIG way! It looks like the dollar theater that just closed in our town. I couldn't believe the amount of trash outside and inside. My husband said the men's bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in at least a week. The outside ticket booths are closed so you have to buy your ticket at the concession stand. They opened a bar in the lobby. What a terrible addition!! Please focus on cleaning the place up and some customer service if you want my business AMC or whoever owns it this week! :(
This is a fine movie theatre in the Jefferson area.
Place was nearly empty on a nice early Saturday evening...should tell you something. Paid $15 for a large drink and a medium size stale popcorn.
I've been here a couple times, and it has always been a good experience, i would come again quickly
Literally broke a seat one time at this theater, and I'm not even fat (160 lbs). Luckily the seat next to me was empty.
Other than that I've always had a good time here. It's expensive, but most movie theaters are these days. IMAX 3D is awesome. Be careful taking small children or old people to IMAX though because the sound is insanely loud.
There are theaters in Chicago with seats so good they're basically La-Z-Boys, but this is probably the best theater in Fort Wayne. Believe they also serve alcohol now.
The IMAX screen was blurry and the seats weren't comfortable
This theater does everything right. Slightly outdated, but it is clean, prices are reasonable, and they have all the movies you want to see in great quality.
Nice theater, some screens have old seats though - uncomfortable
Management doesn't seem to prioritize keeping it nice. Ticket line was almost to the door (which you also had to stand in to buy popcorn). Luckily my seat wasn't broken this time though. It should probably just give up and be a discount theatre, since its partly there already.
There was trash all over the ground outside. In the lobby there was popcorn and trash on the floors. The men's toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in at least a week.
Comfortable seating. Clean theater and restroom. It was a bit chilly for me. IMAX was not worth the extra cost in my opinion. Not much different than digital. The theater was quiet while the movie was running. It was a pleasant outing.
