Very nice books, but not enough backbone! How can you let the Chinese government influence you whether you write in a children's book that the corona virus infections appeared for the first time in China about a year ago on a larger scale and have spread from there all over the world. It is bad enough that there is no freedom of expression and freedom of the press in China and that human rights are trampled or suppressed with armed violence. From the beginning, in China we try more and more to portray ourselves as supposed benefactors and tell us its fairy tales.

As a kid, there were some Carlsen comics that I really enjoyed. I do not see any support for a publisher that ingratiates itself with the Chinese regime and thus actively tramples on human rights. I won't buy any more books from Carlsen Verlag until they show a little more backbone.

Still the best German comic book publisher, but also children's and teen books are published here, not to forget of course the Pixi and Petzi books as well as Harry Potter.

We are big fans of the Listen to Wimmel Books. The quality of the books is excellent. Small children can turn the pages well and they won't break right away. Unfortunately we had a bit of bad luck with two of these hidden object books and within a few weeks the sound system stopped working. The publisher tried very hard and provided us with 2 new books in a SHORTEST time, which is probably the best customer service you could ask for! We remain loyal customers and look forward to more hidden object books from Carlsen Verlag!
