Dr. G underson and Nurse Monica are the best in Dallas. No other Dr./Nurse combo can compare.

I chose Dr. Diaz to be my Ob I was able to have a consultation with her and get to know her. Dr Diaz delivered my baby boy at 37 weeks we caught her right on time! They make you do rotations in case your ob isn t in so you at least have met the dr who will be present during your delivery. I was able to meet everyone except Dr. Wendy I delivered before completing my rotation. But they were all great! Dr Gunderson actually did my son s circumcision which healed nicely and fast. I would definitely recommend this practice all my visits were not too long of a wait so I was always happy and my hospital stay with my health care team was just phenomenal I had a great experience overall. I just found out I am expecting again but I moved States and am a little bummed that I will have to find someone else. I m hoping my second experience is just as great as the first!

Dr. Parnell is FABULOUS and I would highly recommend her! But I'm giving the office staff a 1 star. Their office staff manager really needs to re-educate this staff on organizational skills. Recently they called me to confirm an appointment for the next day. I accepted but questioned in my mind that I just had my annual in recent months. However, maybe Dr. Parnell still needed to visit with me so I agreed to the appointment. I called my insurance and they said I went in for my appointment 5 months ago. So I called Dr. Parnell's office back they said, "no, we do not have you scheduled and we did not call you, are you sure it was us." I hung up, looked up my phone history and noticed they DID call and I wasn't dreaming up this conversation. SO I called back again to say, "who do you have at this time to see Dr. Parnell? Maybe one of my daughters who are both over the age of 18?" Finally spoke with another office staff member who said, yes, we must have called you as that was the number we had on file. Isn't it funny, that my daughter has been going their for a few years and they never called to remind me of her appointment b/c of the privacy act. Unfortunately, this has not been an isolated case on their unorganized skill set. Hoping this review gets them to re-evaluate their in-house training on their office staff.

If I could give Dr. Wendy and her nurse, Yolanda, 10 stars, I would. They are both very professional and personable. I can tell they really care about their patients because they always go above and beyond for me. I highly recommend them to any expecting mothers.

Very caring group of doctors. Dr. Wendy has been my doctor for a few years. The 45 minute drive from home is worth it.

So far so good! Dr. Gunderson is very attentive and careful. If you have any questions or doubts, she will make sure you feel cared for and heard.

Dr. Wendy is personable, kind & patient. She listened, took her time, asked us questions, allowed us to ask her questions as well. She is very thorough. Good doctors are hard to find, in my opinion. She s definitely a keeper.

Dr. Parnell has been my OB for about 5+ years and she has been amazing and a true blessing for our family. I have nothing but good things/experience to say about her. She is caring and knowledgeable about any care she is providing. If you are looking for a OB that will take care of your overall well being of you and your baby, she is where I would suggest. I Absolutely Love Dr Carlos Nd His Friendly Nd Caring Staff !!

Dr. Gunderson is genuinely invested in her Dr. /Patient relationships. I was with Dr. Gunderson until 32 weeks. We moved offices because of distance, after relocating it unfortunately put us about an hour away. Being our first pregnancy, we felt it was far for us. Once we found a new provider it became very apparent that she was not comfortable delivering me naturally. Then soon after I discovered I was pre scheduled for a c-section without my consent. I immediately went back to Dr. Gunderson at 36 weeks. She was confident we could have a healthy and natural delivery. Her skill and confidence validated that. I am so grateful and honestly could not ask for a better Dr.!

Dr. Wendy Parnell is such a sweet person. The wait is never long and the staff is friendly and thorough.

I have been going to Dr. Parnell for 22 years now. I have had several medical issues arise over the years and never once did I call and his team hesitate to get me that day! I love the fact that he explains to you in detail what is going on, and what your options are. He doesn t just want to cut you open. If he thinks you need it, you can bet you do!!

I am originally from New Orleans and moved to Dallas in 2005. I have been a patient of this office since 2006. I was originally with Dr. Jones who left the office to relocate to another city and I decided to become the patient of Dr. Diaz. I am extremely happy with her and her staff as it relates to knowledge, professionalism and caring for her patients. I feel as though I am part of an extended family during my visits. The staff listen and remembers everything. It feels amazing to not feel like a number but rather family.

Dr. Wendy was my first experience with an OB-GYN when I was younger, and I would never think to change doctors ever! She is so sweet and personable. She s the best!

Dr. Monica Diaz has been my doctor for a year now and I must say she is the absolute best in her field of work. She goes the extra mile for her patients and is extremely thorough. I've had the pleasure of seeing every doctor in the office at least once and the entire staff is very good. Dr. Diaz delivered my son and has been a blessing in my life.

Dr. Wendy Parnell is what you want in a doctor, especially one that will be delivering your first or any of your children for that matter. Her patience, elegance, effort, willingness to explain, and no rush attitude is beyond this world! The way she is with my wife, who is worried and has so many questions due to this being our first child- NOTHINGS CHANGED during covid she remained with suburb customer service and care! She makes sure I m on the phone during appointments and makes sure if I have any questions I ask them... she s a breath of fresh air after you ve had a bad experience! I m so proud of her being part of the culture and ensuring black women know what s available to them and that they are getting what they need! You go!

I love Love, Dr Winfred Parnell, Carlos. and Diaz and his staff. Ive been a patient since 2003. Dr Parnell is an Experienced, Caring, Professional and one of the best Infertility Doctors in Dallas, Tx. He delivered all 3 of my children 12, 10 and 2 years ago. I would Not trust anyone else but Dr Parnell and Doctor Carlos with my C sections.He's like a Father to me. Hate to get my tubes tied but, hes the o ly one that I trust to do it!

I've been a patient with them for over 10 years and have never had one bad experience! I highly recommend any of these friendly and competent doctors (especially Dr. Diaz) to anyone.

Dr Winfred Parnell has been my doctor since 1992 and I couldn't have had a better Doctor. I was referred by my primary doctor back in 1992 for a molar pregnancy and even though I couldn't continue the pregnancy, Dr Parnell and his nurse Dee Dee were VERY helpful through the termination of my pregnancy. The whole office are very polite and very helpful. I would recommend Dr Winfred Parnell or any of his partners. I will keep Dr Winfred Parnell as my doctor for as long as I have to...

I love Dr. Wendy Parnell and truly enjoy having her as my OB-GYN. Her knowledge and skill is evident and she is so personable and kind. It's evident that she cares about her patients and creates an atmosphere that is extremely welcoming to questions. She provides clear and thorough answers to address concerns to ensure patients are able to make informed decisions.

This is the most wonderful office! From the front staff to the nurses to all the doctors and billing, you won t find another practice as warm, professional and thorough. And for an OB office, they run shockingly on time!

I came here to see Dr. Monica Diaz. Before my appointment, I asked to get a price estimate for a specific procedure since I do not have insurance and wanted to be prepared on how much it would cost. I was told that it would between $300-$400. I went for my appointment and was only charged $205 and was really happy thinking it was less than expected. A week later, I received a bill for $565. I called the receptionist to ask what the bill was for since I had already paid. She informed me that the bill was for the lab tests. What doctors office does not inform you what the cost of the test is BEFORE performing them and why did they NOT tell me that the lab tests are separate from the consultation!? I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS OVER THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED SINCE I INFORMED THEM THAT I DONT HAVE INSURANCE AND WAS PAYING FROM MY MY OWN POCKET!! THIS IS NOT ONLY UNETHICAL BUT SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!! DO NOT GO THERE. IF YOU DO, PLEASE BE SURE TO ASK QUESTIONS. TO MAKE THINGS WORSE, I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD GET MY RESULTS BETWEEN 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS AND HAD TO CALL MULTIPLE DAYS AND MULTIPLE VOICE MESSAGES BEFORE I FINALLY GOT MY RESULTS OVER E-MAIL. WHICH IS VERY ODD BECAUSE THAT SOUNDS AGAINST HIPPA REGULATIONS.

To say my experience was EXCELLENT is an UNDERSTATEMENT. From the front desk, to getting your vitals done, to actually being with the Dr my expedience was awesome to say the least. The staff is so caring, helpful, and make you feel so welcome! Dr. Parnell herself is GREAT. I was nervous but she made me feel so welcomed and showed that she cared about me and my health. I wish I would have found her as provider long ago! However she will be going this far! Thank you guys so much for the awesome experience!

Dr Gunderson has been my OB through both of my pregnancies and she is wonderful. Easy to talk to, makes sure all my questions are answered, quick to return messages and phone calls, and proactive in watching complications and treating them as needed. Would definitely recommend her and this practice.

I love love LOVE Dr. Gunderson, and her nurse Monica! My review could easily turn into a novel on how professional, attentive and compassionate they both are. I ve been a patient for a few years now, but I still recall my very first visit. From the time Monica called me from the waiting room, I knew I was in good hands. The care that I receive, far exceeds any patient experience I have EVER experienced! I wish she was a primary care physician, so I d be able to have my children under their care as well. I highly recommend Dr. Gunderson for women s health, she is awesome! And so is her nurse Monica!! Absolutely love them!!!!

I have always been NERVOUS about Drs and needles since I was a child. Even though I am a cry baby during these appointments Dr. Parnel and his staff are always found trying to comfort me. They are very attentive to your needs. They are sensitive to your needs and they have a sense of humor...which is what I need during these times. A STAFF WITH A SPIRIT IF COMPASSION!!!!

Dr.Gunderson is the best doctor I ve ever had. She was my doctor on my 2nd pregnancy through the entire 40 weeks. She truly cares about her patients. She communicated well; was very supportive on my labor process and made it go really smooth. I wish I had her on my first pregnancy! :(
I also credit her nurse . She was very friendly and outgoing. Both, Dr. Gunderson and Monica, are caring and professional.

Had an appt set up a month in advance for April. Called for two weeks to have changed to a pregnancy confirmation and see if it could be moved up and they added me to a waiting list. Well I call today and they say they can't take me on as a patient, because they have to move my appt out even further due to changing the appt type which they didn't tell me ANY of the times I called to reschedule even though I said I was asking to move it up due to me finding out I was pregnant. Then they said since they have to move it out to MAY and I would be too far along they can not accept me as a patient as all. New to Texas, trying to find a good doctor, and this is the worst experience ever. You should care more about PEOPLE. They wouldn't even let me talk to the doctor. Terrible!

Please please please do not go to see Wendy Parnell. She does not care for her patients. Doesn t listen to them or their concerns. She and her assistant Yolanda don t call back patients. Even with pain and emergencies... nothing back from them. I waited over a month and a half for them to call me back with results and they still haven t. Finally have given up to go to a new dr. Don t go here! She is a disgrace as a doctor.

Great doctors and great staff! I have been going for years and I wouldn't think about going anywhere else

Dr Gunderson was my Primary Dr during my pregnancy about a year ago. She is so understandable of her patients needs. She always made sure I had no doubts and was very caring during my entire pregnancy. My son was diagnosed with a cleft lip and Dr Gunderson always made sure my husband and I had a peace of mind. Monica, her nurse was also always so attentive with me. Overall, My husband and I had a great experience at this clinic. Will definitely be returning with Dr Gunderson in the future!

Dr Wendy Parnell is by far the best doctor I ve had. She truly cares about her patients and is very kind. I ve had nothing but great experiences in her office. Everyone explains everything very thoroughly and make sure you feel very comfortable.
