It s sad that an organization like this would be against educators and the public education system in their own community.

The Bossier Chamber is an amazing group of professionals willing to help businesses and start-ups in any way!

Everyone at the Bossier Chamber works hard to support local businesses and the community. They are a great resource for new people moving to the area as well as military members.

Shame on you for not supporting the educators in your city. People are moving into Bossier every day to attend the schools here. We have the 2nd best schools in the state yet our teachers are some of the lowest paid in the state. Yes, it would cause businesses more in taxes but it will also cost us, the homeowners. Most of the teachers that work in this city live here therefore they will be funding their own pay raise! No one at the small companies you are working so hard to protect has to fund their pay raise. We will support companies that support our educators. Those who don't will loose more than the 24% the pay raise would cost them. 3,000 plus educators shopping elsewhere would cost far more.

Bossier Chamber s board members are funding phone calls to residents of Bossier Parish with misleading information. They are trying to scare people into voting no, especially the elderly on fixed incomes. They DO NOT support the local education system. The schools of a community are the backbone. They provide value to the economy in so many ways. The Chamber s Board should be ashamed of their selfish decisions.

The Bossier Chamber of Commerce loves our community and works every day to share our story to residents and business both near and far in new and innovative ways.
