Outstanding service and very thorough exam
I am very pleased with the doctor and the other employees who were friendly and professional. The doctor told me exactly what needed to be done for my dog. I left feeling informed knowing my dog was in good hands. Can't say enough good things about them all.

Awesome vet and staff! This morning had an emergency with my dog. Called first and rushed her in and they were waiting at the door for my fur baby! Possibly saved her life! Kind, respectful and humorous was the vet. Been going there for years and always pleased with lack of waiting and the care and love they show for my pups!

I really appreciate how efficient they are and how lovingly they treat my pets. Love the new doc. Oh, and his wife!

They really care about the health & wellbeing of your pet. This is the only place I trust to care for my pet.

Great experiences here so far! Dr. Kiaei has been great with me and my dogs- he seems like he really cares and does the follow up calls personally. He doesn't try to push extra services on that aren't necessary at the time of visit. He is thorough without being overbearing. The rest of the staff is welcoming and friendly. They all genuinely seem like they enjoy working there. 10/10 would recommend

Dr Massie retired and Dr farshid Kiaei took over.iI was verry pleased with him. He infored me that my furbabie has a heart irregularity and need to have it checked out. He was able to find his problem without costing me a arm a leg. He's pretty reasonable. He also called a couple of days to check and see how my baby was doing.

Dr. K and his staff are TOP NOTCH!! What I like most is that it's a FAMILY run office. His son and wife are running around making sure we are all taken care of. Dr. K is very kind and caring and most of all KNOWLEDGEABLE. He takes care of my Newt, Lorenzo and Gretel. Thank you so much for being the BEST!!

Do not go here ! They were so dismissive with the questions I had about my pet. The vet tech kept giving me tremendous attitude every time I would ask something for what they were quoting and would be dismissive when answering my questions. I let her know I wanted to be helped by somebody else and as she left the room she called me stupid and began yelling and making fun of me. It got to a point where I literally started crying because of being so overwhelmed with my pet s health and with the way I was being treated. I paid what they were charging me for and didn t pick up the meds or anything else from that clinic. It was a horrible experience . The vet dismissed my feelings with just telling me that he had problems with his staff but that I should ignore her and concentrate on my pet. How was I just suppose to not let the fact that I got called stupid affect me for literally asking about my pets health? Never again. I feel like I just threw money away going there where I could have been helped without all that attitude and commotion somewhere else.

Today was my 1st visit to Caring Hands Pet Clinic and I am sold on them! The staff are extremely nice and knowledgeable about everything. The doctor was very thorough when checking out my puppy . I will definitely be going back in the future.

I am a professional dog trainer and Cynthia and her entire crew are exceptional in every way. They are polite, thoughtful, helpful and ALWAYS go out of their way to help ANY dog whenever they possibly can. Follow up is fantastic. I can't say enough how much I appreciate their care for my personal dogs and most certainly for my clients of Aly's Puppy Boot Camp.

I've taken my Pats to Dr. Cindy Massey, DMV for over 20 years. She is a great veterinarian with lots of experience, she's never failed us once. I would let her treat my grandchildren.

Always willing to get Foxie and Higgins in (especially the Fox). Dr. K is very kind with the dogs and have adequately treated their ailments. Staff is also great with the canine kids.

Such great people here! From the receptionist to the vets they all seem like they genuinely care about animals. Dr Massey is great with our dog and when we were fostering a dog she even saw him for free because he was a foster!

My introductory visit today was for a Wellness examination for the dog I just adopted a week ago. It was so important to me that I get a professional evaluation of her health. Everyone was so welcoming from the first phone call, the reminder call, the greeting and the very thorough exam with Dr. Kia to when I paid the bill. Nice surprise to get a 10% discount just for being a senior citizen!

Dr. K. and staff are wonderful and caring. I have two senior cats and I am confident that my pets are receiving good care. Dr. K. listens to my concerns and takes time with us. We never feel rushed. I also appreciate that he personally calls after each visit as a follow up. All of the staff is courteous and professional. I want to particularly thank Lynn who is terrific with my cats. Vet care is not cheap, but we are always offered options and recommendations and we don't feel like we are being unnecessarily charged. I have been recommending this vet practice to my friends.

I've never had better veterinary experiences anywhere. The staff has always been accommodating, even when I didn't have an appointment. We receive follow up calls frequently after significant events. Amazing people.

I don't feel that my experience with this vet was 5 star. I took my dog in to have his ears examined, scratching at ears, shaking head, ears felt warm and they did not even take his temperature and Dr. Sagartz did not examine his ears with an otoscope, just by sight said he had debris and that it was a mild infection and gave me an option of 2 ointments. I did not choose to take the ointments because I didn't feel that the exam was thorough nor did I think that I was educated enough to risk any adverse effects to my dog because in that exam, I didn't want to return for anything further. In response to my hesitancy about the ointments I was told that if we didn't take medications, we'd all be dead by 25, not reassuring or something that would instill my trust in his advice. My dog actually tried to snap at the vet and he's never done that which is reflective of how abrupt and cursorily I felt we were treated. Not a 5 star experience as these other reviews have posted.

I spoke to Rebecca when making my appointment and she seemed very friendly and caring over the phone. I wish my actual experience had been one of high quality and compassionate care. My dog who I care for and love very much is the one who really pays the price for his health and current well being.

Today was our first time to bring our very much loved Shih Tzu. Upon arriving the staff were very friendly. We were thankful that we were able to be with our Snugs during his wellness check.
Masks were worn by all. The wellness check was very thorough and Dr K answered many questions and was informative throughout. He was also very gentle and caring with our little man.

Took our dog today everyone there are so polite and caring. We had a very good experience with the nurses and doctor. Everyone so very helpful and caring in our time of need dealing with our sick dog.

I absolutely love Caring Hands Pet clinic and Dr K., he is a very caring and compassionate veterinarian, it's so hard to find a vet that treats your pets with the love and care that they deserve.

I was helped right away! I was very worried about my 5yr cat they got me in and took care of him. The staff was very knowledgeable and caring. Their faculty was very clean and they took all precautions for COVID which made me feel safe I will be bringing Mittens back next year for a check up

I love the hands on care my dog recieves. They saw him when his regular vet wouldn't. They cared and fit him in because I told them how he was suffering. His regular vets office didn't care told me they could fit him in until two weeks later and he had been going there for eight years Caring hands really cared. They took care of him and he's doing great now. I won't go anywhere else. The staff is fantastic. So friendly and caring. My dog and I really appreciate them. Switched to there office.

We love this veterinary, Dr. Kiaei is so good with our golden, we ve been taking our puppy to him for about 5 months now and absolutely love him and his staff.

I emailed Caring Hands Pet Clinic late last night in regards to an issue I was having with my cat. I had been with Animal Clinic for 15+ years and made the switch to Caring Hands Pet Clinic today. During my appointment the staff were so nice, professional, and kind. They helped my cat in less than an hour with something I have been dealing with my last vet for over a week. The facility is nice and clean too! During my appointment the staff didn t seem rushed, they spoke with me, explained things to me and loved on my animal as if he was their own. This made such a difference to me and that s why I am so grateful for them!

My husband and I drove from Texas to visit our parents and their girls....Mom and the girls had ongoing health concerns and went searching for a more caring and knowlegable Vet. Thankfully they found one!!! Dr Massey in Santa Maria, Ca. I had the pleasure of overhearing the extremely knowledgeable and kind conversation Dr Massey just had with my Mom about her girls blood reports. She answered ALL her concerns and gave 40 mins of her Off Hour time from 6pm on just to relieve worries.....So Very Nice!! Wish we lived here too. Dr Massey would for sure get ALL our business! Thanks for being so Generous and taking such great care of your little friends and family. We will All sleep better tonight

I called the clinic because my cat was having difficulty breathing to see if they could help her but refused until I had finances. This upset me. I didn't want her to suffer needlessly. When I got paid I took her in and she was handled very well. After spending hundreds of dollars I was not told what was wrong with her but just what she could possibly have wrong. After being on medication for over a week she deteriorated very quickly. I had too take her back only to find out she was suffering and couldn't be saved. Of course this broke my . They handled her final moments with such care. Overall I was very happy with the care she did receive. Would recommend.

My mom and I have been taking her dogs to Dr. Massey for years, since she opened the clinic in fact. We've never had anything adverse to say about her, only that she was a very knowledgeable vet. About a month ago, one of the dogs was outside trying to go to the bathroom, and started screaming in pain when he tried to urinate. My mom called Dr. Massey, and was promptly told by the receptionist that they could not see her due to appointments. OK, no problem, that's totally understandable. My mom took the dog to the emergency animal hospital in Arroyo Grande, he had emergency surgery for bladder stones and is now recovering fine. Great!

Last week, my mom went in to ask Dr. Massey a question regarding food, because she was told changing the dogs' food would help prevent developing stones again. Dr. Massey was busy - again, no problem - so my mom had casual conversation with the receptionist while she waited for Dr. Massey to be available. They discussed what had happened with the dog, etc. etc., and my mom made a comment that the vet tech in Arroyo Grande didn't understand why Dr. Massey or a tech at her office didn't take a look at the dog to assess him before sending her away.

Suddenly, Dr. Massey comes into the lobby from an exam room, looks directly at my mom and aggressively says "are you stupid or something?!" (referring to what the tech in AG said). My mom, taken aback of course, said "excuse me?" to her, and Dr. Massey again said "are you stupid? What you're saying is illegal and I've been listening to you out here yelling the entire time!" My mom is not the type to make a scene in public - hell, she won't even post a review online for a bad experience; the only person raising their voice was Dr. Massey herself.

What kind of person asks someone if they're stupid?? Not only is it simply rude, it's incredibly unprofessional. Even if my mom had been yelling, you do NOT ask someone if they're stupid. I work with college students daily, and due to their age they're frequently wrong simply by virtue of having less life experience - however I would not, and have NEVER, asked one of them if they were stupid, even in times when I have had one of them yelling in my face. That is NOT how you do business, and that is NOT how you treat people.

Needless to say, neither myself, my mom, nor anyone we know will be going to see Dr. Massey ever again; not if she feels it's in any way acceptable to treat or speak to people in that manner.

I like Dr. K as he has a calm soothing voice but doesn't sugar coat his prognosis of my dogs' health issues when I bring them in to see him. He provides options with his clients so we don't feel we have to do it only one way. I would recommend this clinic to anyone that has a pet dog or cat.

They care so much for my pet as if it was there own!! He has diabetes and thyroid issues. Always take into consideration my financial situation and deciding which test are most important at the time.

Always caring and usually on time, it's clear that everyone the office cares about my pets (3 dogs). They may run a little late because they are taking extra time with someone else's pet. Dr K takes the time to explain conditions, tests and results, medications, and the outcomes we can expect. I'm glad Caring Hands is here in Santa Maria.

I applied to this place for a job and I went on vacation for a week in Yosemite National Park California and the office manger called I had crappy service when I got back I called back and talked for 15 mints on the phone and the guy said he would call me back on the 3 week of June to set a time to meet he never did I called back to follow up and the response I got was we are not hiring. Hopefully I can try again when it's a better time

I m not from the area and was nervous about where to take my precious baby. Caring hands, got us in the next day and it was such an efficient visit. The vet and all the techs and front office staff are so kind and compassionate. Dr. K was so sweet to my pup, and gentle. He did a very thorough exam. They treated my pup with care and kindness, and listened to all my concerns. I am so grateful for this animal hospital and the wonderful staff! I now feel confident that while here in the area, we have a reputable vet to take care of our pup.

Really impressed with my veterinarian visit today. Reasonably priced, gentle doctor and staff (my dog was a rescue dog who is very timid). All staff was well trained and courteous. Thank you especially to Doctor Farshid Kiae for being so sweet and patient with Shugie.

Unfortunate events happen from time to time when assuming the responsibility of pet ownership and especially when it s your Significant others pet ( sort of speak) your still equally caring and fine our pets have personalities and set patterns, so when your pet is need of professional medical attention we all read reviews if not familiar with practice your visiting.
I would like to share the positive response and care my pet received after subsequently injured front paw, my pets name is Bucky a 12 year old Chihuahua weighting just under five pounds small in size and still very active at home. I made an appointment and considered the cost associated with such treatment and possibilities of extended care afterward, to my relief I found positive results after test and examinations , along with affordable cost.
So great full Bucky will recover and the personal attention he received at this facility.
