Couldn t tell you what the place was like, couldn t get in.

If anyone can explain to me the difference between between wearing some nice looking brown leather thongs (Birkenstock style things, $80 thongs) I was wearing, and the open toe sandals (just flats) the 3 girls i was walking in with we re wearing, I d love to hear it.

We d just come off a cruise around the harbour so I wasn t wearing fully enclosed shoes, but was wearing semi nice dress shirt and chino type shorts, so not poorly dressed.

Got 3 steps inside the venue until the bouncer called me back and said nup.

Used to be a regular when I lived in the city, but the 18-25 demographic is too young for me.

Good place to meet for a couple of pre-drinks, and the vibe is excellent.

The crowd is quite pretentious and the drinks are very pricey. It is in a beautiful location that overlooks the water and the music is very good for a dance on a Saturday night!

Would't let me wear a hoodie and hat in so I decided not to waist my money and went somewhere else.

The attitude at the door, being treated like scum, thanks but no thanks. We never going to this place again.

Came in for a late lunch (15:00) and the food took ages, yet it was extremely quiet. However the food was delicious hence the rating.

Great location with water views, outdoor seating with heater and daily specials. I tried $12.50 steak with chips and salad for lunch. That is pretty good price for water view restaurant right at the wharf.

Increased the price by $5 for drinks after midnight and kicked us out at 12.15

Unfriendly unhelpful staff, very rude with incredibly poor service. Couldn t be more dissatisfied!

The staff here were great. Nothing was too much trouble even on the busy Melbourne cup day. Great view too and food was excellent value.

Always enjoyable night for some drinks and dancing. Prices are reasonable for location, Pimm's jugs were enjoyable and the house gin was Tanqueray which was surprising. Overall a great night out with a group of friends celebrating a birthday.

At 10 dollars a schooner will not be back. Far too dear.

Good atmosphere. I Was dissapointed that they do not serve cocktails at their first floor bar. I waited in line 15 minutes to order and was told to go upstairs to order cocktails. When I went upstairs they told me the upstairs bar was closed (on a Friday night) and sent my back downstairs to wait in line again.

Cargo Bar in Sydney has got to be the worst bar and experience I have had and the manager Noa was rude towards all of us guests and didn't uphold our booking confirmation that we had on Saturday 19th December 2020. We had a booking for 11am and a confirmation email sent and she told us we can't come in until 11:30am. Also she stated that according to licence regulation she wasnt allowed to serve us any alcohol until 11:30am but yet began serving another group at another table at 11:20-11:25 and when I asked why we were told that we had to wait for drinks when we had a cruise to get on at 12pm her answer had been whats 5 mintues? And that they hadn't even touched their drinks till 11:30am when i took a photo and have the proof. I will be taking this further and if you are going to contact back I do not want to be hearing from the manager on this day. The staff members were a lot more nicer and welcoming than her. On top of all this although we had our booking she refused to allow my boss to go and use the bathroom. If i could post 0 star rating i would.

Very nice ans chilled, if thats not for you then head there at night as it turns into a nighyclub, 2 levels and its an awesome place

As part of the smilng stars group, we all had a great night and were looked after extremely well.

Unpleasant bouncers and power mad security ruin what is an average bar. Located on darling harbor this is an average bar without any outstanding features. If only the staff treated their customers with respect instead of suspicion and hostility it would be given a higher rating.

Pretty awesome place, beautiful and unique. The restaurant is not expensive as well, live their 10 dollar steak on lunch time, classic Australian gravy, always a must go.!!!

Great location, great specials on different nights ($10 cocktails in the lounge Monday-Wednesday / $10 steak Monday-Wednesday) staff friendly and it's a great venue to frequent every weekend! Everyone I speak to has a story or two from their time there! Saturday night is my pick of the week!

Staff aren't very welcoming. Didn't really want to spend my money here. Nice view though

Fantastic staff at Cargo Bar. Organised last minute birthday plans and had a great time, manager helped us out with no issues and the host on the door was accommodating and kind.
highly recommend this place, reasonable prices and a good variety of music. Wicked all round.

Breathtaking view... best overnights party club in town

Went before it got busy. The upstairs is a great place for cocktails and to watch the boats.

An absolute old favourite, great food and nice spot at King Street Wharf. The Peking duck pizza is delicious, burgers are good too.

The best rooftop bar in Sydney! The best service and staff so attentive and fun. Highly recommend going, a perfect night out. Just wish it didn t close

Not the best bar in Sydney. Gets too crowded small dance floor, takes ages to get a drink and music is too loud inside if you want to talk to anyone.

Good deal M-Th for a rump steak, fries, and salad for 10 dollars and happy hour pints six dollars.

This is an average nightclub when the restaurant has packed up.

Good spot for a beer and light snack after work at any time of year. Never too crowded, good selection of beers and food at reasonable prices.

Not my scene at the moment. Way too cold to be in such an open venue. Also very young crowd. Management are fantastic and do the best to accommodate your needs.

Paid entry shouldn't be a thing. Otherwise it's about an average sydney bar. Too many people for the space and drinks overpriced af. But at least the actual location isn't trashy, and neither is the space.

A great place for lunch or after work drinks. You can't beat the $10 steaks for lunch (Mon-Wed), not only the quality of the steak is a lot better than other similar offerings around the city, the portion is quite generous too. The only problem you might encounter is trying to pull yourself away from the relaxed atmosphere to head back to work!

They have $10 steak and chips nights on Mondays - small cut of meat that is so-so quality. Good view of the harbour from here - come with a group of friends to unwind on a Monday afternoon.

Regarding the below, schooners of Pure Blonde are $5 on Thursday's between 5pm - 7pm. This is advertised on the website and TV's, flyers and blackboards in venue.

Was good tight security for no apparent reason designated driver got kicked out for being drunk. But still a good club.

Unacceptable bars security puts whoever they want I went twice but I will never go back the toilets smell out I want to write a lot but it's not worth dealing with this bar again.

Cocktails are amazing but the food is average. Nice ambience!

This bar has a wonderful view of Darling Harbour and I absolutely love coming here just to enjoy the view. But there is a very chill bar atmosphere while being there. The food is quite good and the people have met there were all very nice, including the bouncers. I felt very safe and really enjoyed myself.

It's been a while since I been here but the DJs they employ are very average now.. terrible mixing and cutting good songs mid chorus.. maybe we got a bad DJ, but it upset a lot of people..

Decent outdoor bar in Darling Harbor. Pretty touristy and has the essentials needed for an afternoon drink. Don t go if you want a relaxing time, however, since you will be among a high energy crowd. There is nothing remarkable about the space, but it s convenient and you can get in out of the summer heat. In the winter, it s more mild.

The bouncer/door person wearing a denim jacket, light brown hair, and has blue eyes thinks he is prince charming but is nothing but rude and condescending to everyone trying to get in. That is not how you check if people are too drunk. I didnt have any drinks before hand so when I walked in he asked me how I am and I said I'm good and I walked right through, no problem. He then asked my partner how his night was so far and my partner shrugged his shoulders because he saw how rudely the bouncer was speaking to other people for no reason. The bouncer points directly at me and says "bad company?". I was never rude to mr wise guy, neither were the other people trying to get in. Please inform prince charming that he is not in fact charming at all and get him some professional help before you get called a "bad company".

They just did a refurbishment and I do like the makeover, this bar is a staple location for many people who go out in Sydney because it's a relatively large venue so you're almost always guaranteed a crowd and although the door staff can sometimes be a pain rejecting people for seemingly arbitrary reasons the place operates well although I often wish they would put on more bar staff so you can get drinks quicker. Probably the largest most popular bar around Darling Harbour outside of the casino. Drinks are what you would expect with spirits and a mixer costing around $10 whilst beers come in between 6 to $9

Food is beautiful in Cargo Bar The best hummus dip in town! Sausage rolls and pork hamburgers are delicious! and the ice cream and brownies are irresistible!
