I watched the Cage Warriors 104 there last night.....the place was packed.... There are toilets all over and bars spotted around the arena....so never really had too wait long for either one. It might sound obvious but If you arent an usual Ice Rink goer then make sure you take a jacket lol....i was sat 10m from the cage and even though they put black matting over the ice my feet were ice cold. Good experience all round......

Nice ice and new facility. Changing room too small for the 3 of us and we had to keep finding staff to let us in as they wouldn't /couldn't give us a key. More drinking water fountains would be good.

An improvement on the old rink but where are the Ice Marshals/Stewards? Every other rink I've been to has at least one Marshal on the ice at all times to go to the aid of anyone who has fallen and can't get up or has hurt themselves. Every time I've asked where is the Ice Steward the (lovely) reception staff say he may giving out skates. So clearly no proper permanent Ice Marshal.

We travelled from Bristol for a public skate session today, the sessions are lengthy and you can stay the whole 3 hours, staff were friendly and helpful, I have a disabled son who was causing havoc while we were trying to get our shoes back and one of the lovely staff took him to one side and made an effort to keep him active by helping to out the skate aids away while we were sorting our shoes, there was also a big hockey game on in the other arena so hundreds of people, the stewards and staff did very well at keeping the two events separate and making sure everything ran smoothly, the only downside is there was only one steward on the ice who kept coming and going at intervals

Came to watch an ice hockey match here. Facilities are reasonably good and the concession stands are ok price wise. View is good and there is parking beside it. There are other sports facilities in the complex.

Great ice rink but that's it. The staff and the unhealthy selection of foods is just shocking. No wifi and hand dryers not working in toilets so expect to drip dry. Amazed that people are rating this place 4 or 5 stars???

An excellent event for a day out with the family. The staff are very professional and friendly, if someone falls they'll be there in no time checking they're OK, rental skates are decent quality (but take thick socks in case they rub) and the rink is well maintained and spacious.
I found the community of people skating were also great, some offered plenty of tips to help me and my daughters get started, and plenty stopped to check if we were OK when falling. We've been twice and thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hour skating session both times.

Great big rink with good facilities but going around in circles can get quite tedious for the experienced skater. It would be great if they may be introduced an obstacle course on a certain day. The cafe is atrocious. No healthy selection and the options that are available are disgusting. Cold nachos with no real cheese, whaaa! Just eat before you get here lol. Otherwise an enjoyable activity.

This is a decent arena. I think it could do with a bit of heating. I like the idea of easy access to bars and food. At the back of where you sit. Very friendly people best I've known at an away game. If I didn't live in Nottingham I would support Cardiff Devils.

We wish to register our amazement and puzzlement with the absence of a bilingual policy re. signeage in and out of the Arena. We live within a stone's throw of the Arena and were alerted to the possibility that there would be no bilingual signs when we saw the wording IAW - and not the Welsh equivalent alongside - on the outside of the building. The presence of English only signs inside the building just amazes one in 2016 - yes, and in Wales. This is made more obvious when one visits neighbouring international centres / supermarkets locally (and beyond in Wales) where they observe a truly bilingual policy. We sincerely trust that what we see in the Arena will be rectified, after all, Wales is proud of the Dragons' achievements and may that be reciprocated with an acknowledgement that we do live in a bilingual country.

Family friendly atmosphere with awesome action on the ice and spirited crowd without any nastiness or violence. I would say that anyone would feel safe here.
Looking forward to visiting again

Obviously ice skating is going to be a ball, you could stick a kid in a frozen horse box & they'd have a laugh but they ain't footing the bill are they. It's hugely expensive & it's not like they're paying amazing, helpful people to properly monitor the folk on the ice, the skates are utter rubbish really so I presume it's just very expensive to keep the ice cold, that must explain the massive costs, saying that, if you go during extremely hot weather, don't be surprised if you find them closed, perhaps the expensive entry fee doesn't always keep the ice frozen !!!

As a figure skater from London, I was visiting family in wales when I wanted to go skating, I went on the public session and was really disappointed, the ice was extremely rough and hard to skate on, there were no skate marshals which made it harder for people who were new with skating as there were just people going in the wrong way, e.t.c. And don't get me started on the quality of the food area, it seemed as if the staff weren't at all interested in helping you and there's nothing but fast food there. I think the only positive is that it was quite local.

It was my first time attending the ice hockey game with the Cardiff Devils and Guilford Flames. I once had a juicy burger down there and tasted perfect. I have never seen such tasty fizzy drinks other diet coke before. The food is very good as I am keen to go there again whoever the Devils face off with.
