Great facility. Went to watch the Cardiff Devils (they battered Guildford). Great night, would definitely go back. Would have enjoyed it even more if we understood the rules a bit more.

Supper fun for 11-17 years olds. Good safety monitoring too.

My children attended a birthday party here they loved it, all seemed well organised. The first thing You notice is the difference in temperature so make sure you bring extra layers just in case. If your child is not used to skating you can hire a penguin for an extra charge. For the party food it was either burger, nuggets or fish fingers with chips, for the parents waiting, there is a fast food counter where you can get a coffee etc.

Brand new lovely facilities, could be a bit bigger though

Went to watch a Devil's game with a couple of mates, it got me and my girlfriend hooked on Ice Hockey and now we can't wait to go back.

1st time here and I loved it. Watched an amazing game, the atmosphere was electric and not an expensive venue. Will definitely be going back

Fab evening at the ice hockey. Something a lil different to do on a Sunday evening rather than staying in watching the TV. Players are entertaining especially when they argue lol (soz!)

My son had his birthday party here on a friday night, junior disco. Prices are good and staff helpful. Queue for ice skates moved quickly and shoe collecting quick to. The kids had a brilliant time, would recommend even for younger children as the penguins were also free on that friday evening.

A great ice rink to watch ice hockey a real family evening out

Went to see the Devils - very well organised, great idea having several bars and toilets.. It helps! Toilets though needed a little bit more cleaning.

I went with a couple mates to watch the Cardiff Devils play a Czech team. It was my first time watching an Ice-Hockey game and it was THE BOMB. Atmosphere was great and ticket prices were decent - definitely a good outing!

Love this place. Gets busy on weekends and school holidays. I prefer to go first thing in the morning at 10am so I got the rink to myself to practice. Friendly staff always helpful.

The only issue I have is when all the sudden they will close a big chunk of a ring off for people to have private lessons/parties and you have a lot of skaters in one tiny bit so I think it's a bit unfair especially the amount of money you pay to skate..but apart from that well happy!

Fabulous place, especially when the Cardiff Devils are playing. Good size public ice rink, as well as the Devil's ice rink. It also has food place and a bar and of course the Cardiff Devils gift shop.

A season ticket holder for the Cardiff Devils and my son plays for the Cardiff junior Devils so I'm a regular here. Staff are always friendly and welcoming

Had a great evening watching the Cardiff devils kick some panther ass we won 7 -2. Great atmosphere and great game. My daughter went ice skating with her uncle before game they had a right laugh. Kids enjoyed their food burger and fries and curry and chips, even the security went and changed our hot chocolate cause it came out of vending machine like dish water fair play too him. If you like hockey or ice skating this is a great place, even if you don't they have swimming pool with a water park next door which myself and son went too we had a ball or there's the white water rafting close by too.

Great fun for all the family . Be prepared to pick yourself up gracefully as it will happen a lot

For bang per buck, ice skating is one of the best for satisfaction guaranteed, after all, it's only water, right?

Nice ice rink in Cardiff close to the city centre and a good morning out with the family

First hockey game and it was AMAZING!!! Will be back, great atmosphere, easy to get around, food and drink decently priced too.

The public ice skating was closed early and there was no announcement on the website

Daughterwho is 12 visited was very upset was short changed from 20 pound and staff were rude to her and told her to go away when she explained what happened went in myself after she rang me upset made them check camera and tills and yes they had short changed her by 10.00 pound after poor daughter was told to go away terrible staff need to learn manners

I went for a solo skate during the day on a regular Thursday. Skates weren't sharp, as I was sliding all over the place. I asked for a sharper pair but was informed I had the sharpest pair. They are nice skates otherwise. In fairly good More

Took my daughter and her friend for her 7th birthday. They never been before hired a penguin but personally it's better for them without. Cost about 38 pounds for family of 4. Nice day out though she enjoyed it would go again

Overpriced and the service is mediocre, but ice skating is fun so we will be going back.

Fantatic venue but parking can be a nightmare on a game day so arrive early.

The rink is standard, nothing particularly special.

But I am disappointed with the first aid training. I took my little girl on Monday and she knocked me over pulling me onto her. She was hurt and quite upset so I was asked if I wanted her to have first aid, I said yes (of course).

The first aid consisted of the young lad looking at her arm and stomach, then giving her some ice. He made no attempt to see if anything was broken or if she needed anything. He made no attempt to fill out an accident report form.

I took my daughter up to a&e as a precaution and while nothing was broken, she is bruised and sore.

I think the training needs to focus on reassuring the injured party, checking fully that they re fit to leave and making sure it s all logged correctly.

My daughter had better treatment in Asda when she caught her hand on the trolley when she was 4, than her treatment in the rink when accidents must be often.

Apart from almost having my finger chopped off by an ice skate and 8 hours in a&e with 2 hours of surgery it was fun

Fab nights entertainment and got to meet some real devils, to make it extra special

Arena was well maintained and clean. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Always checked up on people when they fell down. However one member of staff would sometimes wiz round the ring at high speed brushing past adults very closely. He caused my brother to fall over at least once but was more careful with children.

Fabulous ice rink, but tickets to skate and food/drink is overpriced which is a bid deterrent.

The usual scenario of paying to use the rink and 1/3 blocked off as usual. If the full rink is not available then the rates should be pro rata. It is postage stamp size to begin with.

Ice skating, ice hockey, ice dance,and other ice sports. Good venue they do party's aswell.

Today Saturday the 6th of April, I attended with a party of ten for my daughters 10th Birthday.
It was never going to be easy as the 6 girls taken were all ASD-ADD girls.
All the staff were so very helpful and friendly from the start.
They all had the use of the penguins to begin as all were very scared and a little upset.
Nikita a viola staff member went way beyond and came out on to the ice to help the girls and show them how to skate.
In a short space of time all six had discarded the penguins and skated unaided !
I can't thank all your staff enough for making six young ladys day and giving them the confidence to skate around the same as everyone else ( they were the last to get off in the end)
The lack of self confidence and avoidance of new things is a huge hurdle for ASD-ADD boys and girls and as a parent I am thrilled how well today has gone and I encourage other ASD parents to bring their children along.
We will be back !

Amazing to go ice skating. Lots of space ans fun. But I wish they would re-do the ice in between one session because it gets really hard to properly skate on it, especially for beginners.

Tremendous atmosphere , was annoyed that one of the female staff felt she had to stand in front of me blocking my view as I sat behind the team rest area .if when booking my ticket I had been warned that my view may have been restricted I couldn't say anything , I did ask her to move but she was quite indignant , her role was to fill players water bottles , she did spoil it for me .

Wish I'd visited sooner, great atmosphere for games!

This ice arena is 2 years old and is home to the Cardiff Devils ice hockey team 2016-17 triple champions.
There are two pads with no 1 being the main arena, and pad 2 for public skate, junior ice hockey games and student disco. Facilities are good. However, they still havent bothered installing public WiFi which is crazy these days considering other sport facilities do.

Nice rink, clean. However skates aren't that comfortable, but that's expected

It's a great ice skating arena and the food is very cheap but delicious. #AWESOME

Great, place to watch the Cardiff Devils. Excellent staff and a great atmosphere.
