Nice arena but management of Cardiff devils (Todd Kellmen) and security staff are horrible to paying customers its a shame as the Cardiff devils are the most successful hockey team in Britain and i will never go back to watch the devils again so I think that Todd kelmen and the security staff need to go on a customer care service course as they need it

Great night out, good atmosphere, was hoarse the next day from singing and shouting

Really great fun. The weather was bad, but it was not to busy. Kids really enjoyed being able to have the time to learn

Great facility but the toilets desperately need cleaning.

Staff are so lovely and helpful and prices of food and drink are reasonable

Beautiful Arena full of amazing and welcoming fans of a top notch Hockey Team. After out first game, we're proud to be devil's fans from now on. Great space, fair pricing and lots of fun.

Nice family day out . The kids serving you on the desk could be a bit friendlier though. But overall enjoyed thank you.

Great skating arena, however tills are a bit too slow. Some more benches around the rink would be helpful.

No atmosphere, they have facilities to play music but don't, only ice rink I've been too with no music. Skates are lace up, didn't feel as secure as the buckle up type I've used elsewhere. Price reasonable, good facilities for drinks etc and plenty of lockers available.

I like watching the devils here shame it s not a bigger capacity as they seem to be selling out a lot, I would give it more stars if the bar area didn t look like a conference room no devils memorabilia it s a soulless bar area

Great place for watching Cardiff devils or for ice skating . Absolutely fantastic place and I can't say anything bad about them.

Love ice skating so this place is just great for me and my partner!

Ice on the main arena was nice but the ice on the public skating was pretty rough

Nice spacious arena with a bar and food stands. Restrooms are spaced out.

Great venu had a great time watching the Cardiff devil's playing

My daughter has lessons here the instructors have been great very knowledgeable. Also the public arena skate is well maintained, although the Friday night skate is very busy with rowdy teenagers best to drop off and collect rather than stay for a cuppa!

I love takung my daughter ice skatimg here, very modern looking and well laid out.

The family and I love skating here.

I would give 5 stars if they only knew how to make a coffee!

Great little arena with a good quality selection of refreshments and good views all round.

Came here for a date night with my boyfriend. Spent an hour on the ice rink at peak time 7-8pm on a Saturday and it was great! I loved it. There wasn't too many on the ice which was perfect so you had plenty of room. So fun and if you fall there's always someone there to help you up! We will be back soon!

Love the hockey here. Only 3 stars as you cannot get mobile signal inside and there is no WiFi. Not really good enough for a multi million pound facility.

So much fun! The staff were friendly and they had not problem teaching me and my friends how to skate properly! I'm sure I must have looked a fool slipping all over the place but for my first ice skating experience I have to say it was incredible!

Great for the skating seats and steps need cleaning . Food on offer could do with inprovement

We went for an MMA event, it's easy to get to and has good Parking too

Awesome. Family friendly. Prices are reasonable. Not too busy even on a saturday duribg kids holiday in the rain.

My children loved going ice skating in the ice arena the staff are very friendly and helpful and there are always staff on the ice

Absolutely brilliant night at the ice hockey as an away fan. The layout of the whole venue is superb; the lounge/bar as you first go in, the food and drink stalls dotted around inside the arena and the jumbotrons all make for a very professional set-up.

Ice hockey games very fun. The truth is that the show is quite good and you don't get bored at any time. In addition the hobby does not stop cheering. Quite more fun than a football game.

Lovely but lots of tiny children as an older person will have to go when quieter to be able to gain confidence

The rink is ok..although they don't fix the ice between every session,which is a bit annoying also a bit unfair considering their prices.so if you planning to go few times a week like me and my group of friends does.not just once in a while.its gonna cost you and they don't have any other options for people like us.So we been coming at least two or three times a week..and pretty much every time we have an awful experience with the front desk..there is no customer service at all.
No offence to anyone but when you look around it seems like there is no supervision at all.these young girls having a chat party,and they giving you an attitude..if you dare to say excuse me..I been standing here waiting.It feels like no one really cares we are paying customers.
My wife stopped skating cos she didn't like it when a mid 20s girl with a blue or greenish hair i think her name was.. GEMMA...
Was being very rude to her..and that was quiet long time ago..Every time since she just giving us attitude make us feel not welcomed at all.
Its a shame really because we love skating with my friends.
Last week one my friend was buying the ticket for me too.We all have loyalty card.
She refused to stamp mine cos as she said one transaction one stamp..
I'm sorry how is this a thing..one of us paying for more than one ticket..so because he payes just to speed up the process we don't get the stamp for our loyalty card..we pay the same amount of money by buying 2 or 3 tickets at the time.
When I said it doesn't sounds right she ignored me no explanation turned back to the other young girl..back to their very important conversation.I asked her to cancel the transaction before my friend would have payed..she stood there with the machine holding out to him..ignoring us.So my friend says it's ok.and this is just one time in the last week..I could go on and on about many times when we asked her about something, and she brushed us off saying check the website..even after I pointed out we did..she didn't show any interest.
I remember few month ago we came to skate and on the screen it was showing the session price..also on the website..she charged me a higher amount..when I asked why,she was looking at me like she doesn't understand what is my problem.
When I pointed my finger to the screen she said yeah that's not right.. when I said your website showed the same price..she said that is wrong as well,with a very arrogant attitude of course so whoever stood around could hear her loud and clear she has no time to deal with me.
I am very disappointed and I am not the only one..as I said we are a growing group of people..at this point it feels like the management or whoever looks after the level of customer service here..just don't care..yeah WE GOT IT ..there is only one ice rink in cardiff so you can treat people like this..and we have to accept it.

This is a great place to go for groups! We took our youth club of about 20 kids and had a really great time.

Good stadium shame about the result for my first devil's game... Would have been if the Coventry and Cardiff results had been switched....

Helpful staff and very friendly at the reception desk. Hire skates are in good condition too which makes a nice change

Wish you could book the rink for the day and it not cost that much and it would be awesome to have VIP there to witch would in clued group of people that can use either rink to them selfs with out other people on it and a good detail for birthdays for 18 and over!

The staff were not that friendly because my dog took a urination at the entrance and I asked for some assistance but they just dropped paper towles infront of me and walked off. #belfastgiants

Needs better parking so badly, but other than that it's a good price to watch hockey games and the food is reasonable if your not a veggie

Great Ice skating and named after the best instrument.

Spent a good few hours at IAW, Slightly expensive for what it is, but overall al really good afternoon out with my partner and son

Very reasonably priced for a family for four to go I've skating. Good facilities and friendly staff. The skates you hire tho hurt your feet and are not very comfortable and the laces snap and have snapped on half of them.

Absolutely loved meeting the hockey team cardiff devils

In the middle of no where, but a great new facility and it's huge! The cafe could do with improvements to match the rest of the facility, not a very good selection of food. The cafe staff also weren't very good when I visited. Cafe aside, the rink is superb.

The place to skate and to watch ice hockey only a shame that the food ain't up to much or I would have given 5 stars

Home of the cardiff devils. May not be the biggest but definitely the best ice arena in uk
