Run by volunteers, this wonderful movie theatre transports you back in time as soon as your walk through the door. Friendly old fashioned service, well stocked candy bar. Make sure you catch the organ performance before your movie several times a week. And the rest rooms are well worth checking out too! I love coming to the Capri.

Visited this theatre yesterday and absolutely enjoyed it. Even though it was a weekday and there were hardly any people, I enjoyed the decor, the sound quality and the general cleanliness. The candy bar closed at 9 pm but the volunteer lady was kind enough to let me buy what I wanted even after that time. A different experience from the Multiplexes but I do prefer the single screen theatres. A big Thank you to all the volunteers and the patrons to keep this theatre going strong.

A beautifully preserved theatre with older world charm .very comfortable seats , friendly staff.
We went thinking there would be organ playing as advertised ( & as advised in an email to me --No apologies ,)& closed captions for my profoundly deaf wife on our date night, but neither occurred .be ready for lots of screen ads .

This place. Oh my god, it is beuatiful. The chairs are really comfortable and allow people to stay seated for hours.

There is a magnificent organ that is mind blowing. All I can really say about this place is that it is beautiful and comfortable.

it's classic cinema probably the great one. I like how they also have shows here too and before the movies start the organ plays which i really enjoy and the cinemas have a great view and high quality.

Lovely old theater, friendly staff, barista coffee ($3.50 per cup!) Lots of SA & locally made snacks for sale. It's staffed by volunteers & raises money for charities as well. Its been authentically maintained in a old style (chandeliers hanging from the theater ceiling & pipe organ on stage!)
