Ask for RJ at VW Capilano if you want 5-star service. RJ helped me select the right model/trim (GLI 35 Anniversary Edition) and even delivered a trunk mat to my workplace to accommodate for my schedule. I highly recommend RJ.

Having been to so many mechanics in the Lower Main...

Having been to so many mechanics in the Lower Mainland, there is NOT anyone else that I would trust taking my 2009 VW Routan into to service and repair. Capilano Volkswagen is not only reliable but as well Trustworthy. Moe in the service department is professional and courteous. There was an issue that I was having that took 8+ hours to diagnose, but they were patient and thorough to ensure that the problem was fixed. Will be quick to bring my van back to them again.

3.5 years ago I got my second VW from Brad at Capilano. The services at Capilano was exceptional. I trust Brad and I knew that when I wanted to change my Passat I booked my appointment and left the VW office with my beautiful Golf TSI. I always receive the great services from Capilano VW. The service department are very knowledgeable and fair. Today, Sunday Nov. 02 2019 I noticed that my car fob was out of battery and even the spare one was not working. I went to VW Capilano and I knew that they will solve my problem. Although the service department was closed , the General manager, Garry Speranza approached me and asked my if I need help. I did explain to him about the battery and told Mr. Speranza that I know that service department is closed today. Mr. Speranza told me that , he will change the batter for me as I needed to drive my car to work the next day. Mr. Speranza bend over backward for me as a customer and replaced the battery. I insisted to pay but Mr. Speranza didn't accept any payment from me. The service that I received today made me feel special. I recommend VW Capilano to anyone who wants to experience excellency, professional sales services and best customer services.

I went to Capilano Volkswagen for an oil change and to check on a few other maintenance issues with my car. The service writer, Moe, and the technician who worked with me were knowledgeable, friendly and fair. Another VW dealership in the lower mainland tried to scare me into doing extensive work on my car that would have coasted thousands of dollars. I got a second opinion from Capilano VW and they told me that most of the work the other dealership and described as being "urgent" was not even necessary. They provided me with a nice courtesy car to use while my car was being serviced. I trust the staff at Capilano Volkswagen and will continue to take my car there for service.

Extremely satisfied with Capilano VW. They gave me the highest trade in value as well as gave me a great price on the Golf R I purchased.

After purchasing the Golf R I noticed that the windshield had a chip. I contacted Capilano VW and they told me they would replace it next time I was I was in the area. (I am from Kelowna)

Unfortunately, I wasn t able to make on back to Vancouver for over a year... I contacted Ali at VW and he told me not to worry about it and they would send me a check to cover the charge of the windshield replacement.

Couldn t be happier with the service!

I just picked up a VW Atlas for my business and the sales and service department went above and beyond. Brad Nakhaei in sales and Moe Correai from service explained everything and answered all my questions making the whole transaction seem simple and easy. Made me feel comfortable and secure in what I was purchasing. The sales manager Garry Speranza worked wonders to make sure I got my car.

Great service as always by Mo. it was my birthday today and I had an unexpected flat tire. he helped me inspect my tire and got it serviced ASAP as I had so much planned to do. Mo definitely went above and beyond to get my car fixed as soon as possible.

I had a difficult time finding a car that suits my needs and my budget being a recent post secondary graduate. I went into Capilano Volkswagen dealership among many other dealerships I walked into to find a deal. Before I even enter the dealership, I saw Bob standing outside. I told him about my situtation, he made me feel so comfortable. He invited me inside the dealership and found me the best deal. He explained what is the best car that suits my need and in between our conversation he would crack a joke to make me cheer up after losing hope being at other dealerships. I am in love with my car and I strongly recommend you talk to Bob if you are seeking a great customer service.

I had been shopping around for a VW for some time....

I had been shopping around for a VW for some time. I saw one that really caught my attention there at Capilano. Price was right and car was the one.
Entered into their showroom to get a chance at a test drive. No luck! All 3 salesmen were busy socializing with their 1 female colleague at her desk. It was obvious the socializing was more important than customers there.
I did end up purchasing a VW less than a week later at a dealership that valued me from start to finish and still.

I recently purchased a used Atlas from Capilano VW and was once again impressed by how well-run it is and how responsive their staff are. Frank Rahmani was my sales person and he was unfailingly patient and was not at all pushy as we arrived at a deal. I recommend this dealership to anyone shopping for either a new or used VW.

Extremely helpful, timely and efficient. Jake was very polite, helpful and was great in helping me understand all the services, charges and work done on my vehicle. Drew was also a great technician in getting the work done quickly and doing a great job including attention to detail. Would highly, highly recommend their services and unfortunately I couldn't find the 6 star button.

Superb customer service when I bought my Golf Spor...

Superb customer service when I bought my Golf Sportswagen. Even a year after buying the car I still get the same treatment. And mechanics/service department are great and honest as well. Since they were busy to schedule me for an oil change, I went to a nearby place to get my oil changed. Long story short, they told me I had to fix a lot of things and quoted me a couple 1,000s. I doubted it and came to Capilano VW to get a quote on the things I was told I needed to fix at that other place. Turns out nothing needed to be fixed (car was still new)... Anyways, I was surprised by their honesty :) They could ve easily matched the price and fixed things that didn t need to be fixed...
Highly recommended!

1 star is too generous. Brought my 2012 beetle with 62,000 km in to have the sun roof serviced for whistling at highway speed. What should clearly be covered under warrenty cost $82. Congratulations Volkswagan, I will never buy another car from you. Whats the point of a warrenty if you use any excuse to void it.

They can't fix misfire problem with my car. It's happened again yesterday. This is 3rd time misfiring within 8 month. Last time they told me that they changed the parts and it's good to go, but nop. It happened again. Can't trust there service and one of the service advisor actually told me that they are more then welcome for me to change to other service locations.

Leased a vehicle, trying to get someone to call me back with details for the end of lease. The person who I need to speak with doesn t answer the phone or return calls left on voicemail. I guess I ll park it out front with the keys in it. Pretty much rules out releasing a new vehicle. Terrible experience.

Update: pressure tactics to retract my review? Including unsubstantiated claims. Good job VW.

I have personally bought my past 4 cars which happens to all be vw from here. I have dealt with moe on service side and brad on the sales side and The overall experience from both have been above and beyond anything else I received before. My parent's bought cars from and so as a few of my friends and they had the same experience. It is hard for me to imagine buying a car from anywhere else.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Capilano Volkswagen. I bought my first car here two years ago thanks to my exceptional experience with its sales department. It's graduate rebate program also helped. While that got me in the door, what keeps me coming back to this particular dealership are the consistently positive experiences I have had with its service department: they staff are reliably kind, professional, talk to us like people, and go the extra mile. Case in point: at the last minute last Saturday Moe made time for us on a busy day in the department to patch a flat tire.

I just helped get my daughter a VW Atlas and the sales department was excellent. In Particular Brad Nakhaei made the whole process easy and comfortable. I was so happy about it I think I am going to get one for myself. When speaking to service department regarding warranty, repairs Moe Correia from service had all the right answers to my questions. I would recommend them to anyone betting a car or needing service.
Garry the sales manager did everything possible to make it happen.

If you want to have your time wasted and be RIPPED...

If you want to have your time wasted and be RIPPED off go to Capilano Volkswagen.

I took it down to the service dept when i noticed that the seatbelt attachment was not bolted in where it was supposed to be when i went to install my nephew's booster seat. It would've been a simple matter of unscrewing, attaching and reattaching a bolt with a special socket wrench that only a mechanic would have. (Why it was unbolted is a mystery...previous servicing neglect?) But when I got there the guy wanted to start an entire service write up for a two minute job and told me i'd be charged for labour. After consulting my husband and telling them to just do it anyway because i had three kids at home waiting to go to Scienceworld he then told me to come back at 1pm (it was 12:20) because his mechanic was going to go on lunch at 12:30 and couldn't start the work till then. The time to look at it and fix it would have been less than 10 mins!

Very grudgingly I returned at 1 and after they looked at it told me i also needed to fix another part that was totally unrelated to the bolt. Not wanting to compromise my kid's safety i told them to do it but then they took 45 mins supposedly installing it and in the end they gave up saying they had to order a different part. When i asked if they fixed the bolt he said yes but then handed me a bill for $33 for labour to basically unscrew, attach and retighten ONE BOLT. Apparently this is a job that takes 0.2 hours of labour!!!! When i left it was 2;30, 2.5 hours after starting this whole debacle. On the flipside i took my Touareg to a Harbourview VW dealer in Nanaimo while on a road trip to replace a busted brake light and they had me in and out in less than 30 mins with the kids and all our bags still in the car. There's simply no excuse for such shameful, lazy customer service.

He was patient with my questions and offered so many different options without being pushy. He was a referral from a client/friend who said exactly that about him and she was right. I could not be happier with the choice I made, I love my Dune and have so enjoyed driving it!

Capilano VW's service department is one of the worst I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. On every occasion, they have communication issues, waste your time, act like they are doing you a huge favor, and charge obscene amounts for routine service. $170 for an oil change - what a joke. I will never come back to this place.

Moe is awesome, I am always treated fairly, they address all my concerns with Honesty. I love the extras like the car wash, even Victor and Alex are amazing. We purchased our 2nd VW from Capilano Volkswagen in late March. Steve Cross was our sales rep and we have nothing but good things to say about our experience. As we had a 2013 Golf Diesel that was being traded on the diesel buyback we did have more than a straight forward deal as we had to do all the legal buyback paperwork and uploading. Steve and Shaun took care of it all the extra steps to complete our deal. Capilano VW held our new Alltrack for a month and a half while we waited for our Buyback process to go through the system. Steve explained everything to our satisfaction as we were purchasing the new vehicle plus how all the bells and whistles operate the day we picked it up. Julia in the finance dept. also made sure we understood everything before we signed any paperwork.
We would not hesitate to recommend Capilano VW and Steve Cross to anyone looking to purchase a Volkswagen. Thanks Again Steve, Shaun, and Julia!

Mainly because the sales Philip is very very nice, no hard sell, had done his best with their Sales manager Garry, had made a very good deal to us. Even after sale service, Philip does too good. He is quick responsible every time we need his help. Deal with him is highly recommended.

I have dealt with Cap VW for over 10 years now...i have just made the change from trading in my beloved EOS to a 2019 Tiguan and so far loving it. Moe has always been my service guru and my go to ,and this time was nothing short of amazing when it came to taking care of me and being very sensitive to my needs in between cars. Scott Patterson who sold me the new Tiguan was really fabulous to deal with and again showed great respect to me, in working to find the perfect fit of car for me. He was very prompt in follow up, honest and patient, and i know will take great care of you. Congrats Moe and Scott ! and to Cap VW. Another win in my books!.

Had an issue with my 2014 golf sportwagen losing power and being jerky. Called in and brought the car to get looked at. The exhaust valve was found to be defective and a part was ordered and I was back on the road the next day. Thanks William Ng for the great service.

We are looking for a used car and came across VW Capilano. Ambiance is very warm and all people I ve dealt with are exceptionally accomodating. Shoutout to Bob Bermand to whom I met on chat online & been very helpful from the beginning. What I love most about Bob is he s not pushy in selling us a car. He listened to what are needs & because of that he got our business. I highly recommend dealing with him. My husband & I are very impressed on how he treated us as his clients. Alan Schianni & Julia Geisler were wonderful to deal with as well, both are friendly & welcoming. There s a male staff - forgot his name (I m sorry) who had given my daughter crayons & coloring pages while we were in the office twice (purchase & pick up) He never failed to entertain my daughter. This Dealership, I must say is family oriented and will treat you right. Thank You VW Capilano. More customers to come your way!

Adding Service Review: Moe Correia - I couldn't agree more about how efficient he is. I went yesterday (09/10/2018 ) late afternoon as I was having battery issues. I was given a call this afternoon (09/11/2018) that it will be ready for pick up after work. Not only my battery was fixed, I got a complimentary car wash as well. Thanks Moe! Very happy customer. Excellent Service!

Moe was great in getting me and my car back on the road quickly after my son had a minor run-in with a parked car in the recent snow/ice. We're a one-car family so down-time was a real issue for us. And the repairs cost less than I expected. (How often does that happen?!) The guys who wash the cars even removed all the black marks the parked car's tire made along the side of my car! The car is as good as new. Very impressed with Moe and the service department here.

I regret having used my extended warranty with the...

I regret having used my extended warranty with them... always the bare minimum done, never a borrowed car and even thought I used over $8000 in extended warranty on my Touareg with them... A problem on my heater I mentioned a couple times never got solved and when a light of my Airbag popped up and I asked if they could clear it up I was told I had to pay half an hour labour.... It didn't matter how much business I done there and that I always spoke with the same service guy (James) ... not even tried to talk to his manager... I told him he lost a customer and it was like it didn't matter to him. I should had brought my business somewhere else to begin with. Bare minimum service... Always polite but never goes out of their way to do an extra and make the customer happy.

My husband and I contacted Volkswagen after the first snowfall on Monday to purchase winter tires. Moe from Capilano Volkswagen called us back within the day and was able to fit us in later in the week for installation of the tires. Despite the busy work day Moe was able to accommodate my work schedule and had the tires installed within two hours of dropping off the car. We were so pleased with the service we received and how quickly we were able to drive away with winter tires!
