Now, here is a 5-star hotel that has more than just a touch of class! Superlatives are insufficient to describe the ambience, elegance, top-notch staff and management. International flavour, portrays historical South African heritage in its decor. Also, the best Gent's Cloakroom in town! Seriously!

Went for their afternoon tea and we had a magnificent time! Both their sweet and savoury offerings were delicious. The service was impeccable, not only from the servers, but from the rest of the staff too.

Wonderful high tea. Staff were efficient and friendly. Shout out to William for a lovely afternoon.

The BEST choice in Capetown

To say it was a disappointment is an understatement. We went on our honeymoon and beyond the check-in experience and location, it was a horrible experience. There was rarely power, there was rarely water, and there was rarely WiFi. For the amount we paid, this is unacceptable. We were also misled and overcharged by the staff. Please do not make the same mistake we did.

i stayed here 2 nights and i was there for business, it is really an excellent hotel and great location, but i hate there early check out.

The Cape Grace was amazing, as always. We went for afternoon tea with family. Great selection of sweet and savoury treats. The scones were especially delicious. We were hosted im the Signal restaurant as we were a party of thirteen.

I was buy a guest, but next time I am town I will be, first class hotel, with an amazing whiskey bar.

The Cape Grace Hotel provides a great spot to pop in for a coffee with a view. So many of us don't even consider popping in, but let me tell you, there is nothing like a good cuppa with a view. The also have a tea menu.

very average...dissappointed..had australian visitors..they wanted to view hotel to stay there on there next visit to cape town..food was terrible...i was sick the whole night..vegetable platter was terrible..tasted like it came out the fregirator...tasted old..cheese cake tasted also old..it actually choked me and i vomited..the service has to be improved..very average for a 5 star hotel..bad experience..the first time it happened..i frequent fairly often....mr .essop..

What a beautiful hotel,went with my Aunts for Afternoon Tea to discuss my cousins 21st and Engagement Event, I find the interior and deco of the hotel to be very English influenced, sophisticated and elegant, the staff was very polite and well infoed about the menu and its options, all our variety of teas and eatables were beautifully served. The sandwiches and mini cakes and desserts were all stunning and pleasing on the eye. Will definately come again, well done to all the staff at The Cape Grace Hotel always strive towards excellence and continue to maintain that high standards.

What a beautiful setting. Amazing tappas in Bascule Bar. Hotel atmosphere is great. The perfect place to rejuvenate!
Had dinner in Signal Restaurant and the dessert was exceptional!

Had high tea. Absolutely surperb. Wide range of speciality teas and a feast for a king. Sandwiches, scones, various cakes. Will do again.

They have this really nice bar that gives you a sense of privacy and intimacy. The staff are friendly and service is really good.

The hotel is excellent, the service is perfect and the location is great.

Was not really at the hotel but V&A waterfront for the International Boat Show.

Once upon a time, we were regulars in the Library, also known as the lounge. They had an amazing Scones with 11 accompaniments collection. And great service, great location, and great food. We've also been lucky enough to eat in their restaurant, go to the Bascule Bar that has the biggest collection of Whiskeys we've ever seen, and many years ago they had a special, and although we live in Cape Town, we spent a most wonderful night at the hotel. The only hotel I've ever stayed at, where the parking attendant, called me by name.

Beautiful marina and beautiful boats. Service is excellent as always and the atmosphere is salty yet sweet.
