Amazing place by the harbour. Staff so friendly. Food is fabulous.
Excellent service and a fantastic experience all around.
The spa upstairs is delightful and relaxing treat where you can let your stress melt away and become a new self.
The whiskey bar in the basement/ground level has an excellent selection and the bar tender has great taste. We quite enjoyed our experience here and would definitely come back.
It would be great if the bar can serve ad-hoc flights instead of just fixed options. A custom whiskey journey that's tailored by the knowledgeable bar team is a great experience that should be available to all
What a stunning place. We had the most divine high tea there. Loved it.
Had a really good time a high tea, friendly environment, good service & welcoming staff.
Fantastic Experience as always! Cape Grace deserves every star!
Lovely atmosphere for a private party. Food was also very good. Great service. Only disappointment was that we were not allowed to have a musician play.
R80 a pint is on the steep side. Average price at other establishments is R40.
Excellent location. You can quickly get to the shops of the waterfront and yet be in a quiet cozy location. From the streets of the city you hardly get anything, but very nice view over the marina with beautiful yachts on Table Mountain. To the waterfront one comes over a pedestrian bridge. The bar at Cape Grace is a hip location in Capetown. Restaurant fine and generous. Quality of meals and drinks selection excellent. Highly recommended. Will love to live again in Cape Grace.
Very nice afternoon tea, well presented, with good selection of teas.
Modern and comfortable at the same time! Have a meal or coffee on the library... It's so relaxing, you'd want to stay longer!
Nice place. Convenient. Excellent location. Good bear. Good food. Luxurious.
I work here, 21 years and counting, does that help?
Wonderful experience, the hotel is first class and the staff even better, would very much recommend it. No sure about cost as it was included in a package we had but would definitely go back Whisky bar with over 500 different whiskys !!
Great experience, and nibbly food, in the Bascule Bar
I visited this amazing place, the dazzling waterfront, I went back several times, and it is one of the most important features of Cape Town, the western tourist city, characterized by its view on the water, watching ships, yachts, and some marine animals such as seals, many restaurants, theatrical shows, art museums, chartering planes, yachts, and boats to sail and next to the Nelson Mandela Gate and also a mall. The beautiful Victoria is beautiful and has ample parking space
Great place to catch up with friends, have meetings, sup whisky and watch the yachts
Attended a kitchen tea. Staff, furniture, decoration, spread, flowers and view exquisite. Most memorable experience. Not something I can afford, but was worth the visit. The gentleman that opened the front door sang welcome to us. I am thrilled!
Excellent food, friendly and very helpful staff. Well located hotel, close to the Waterfront. Comfortable room.
I recommend.
Luxury at it's finest. Myself and my partner look forward to coming back for more.
Rude parking guards and management of the marina who don't understand that yachts are sailed by more than one individual, and thus, more than one parking is required for the crew.
What can I say about the Cape Grace that has not been said already, one of best hotels on the waterfront, the Cape Grace is opulent and luxurious with no cent spared when creating this masterpiece. Not only is each room uniquely designed, so is each floor. As you walk out the elevator you will be treating to different art pieces and interesting chandeliers created specifically for this hotel. There is no such thing as a reception desk here, you will be sat down and personally checked in by one of the very friendly staff and assisted with anything you may need during your stay. The restaurant follows through with the opulence of the hotel and the food keeps up with the reputation. The swimming pool area is under refurbishment at the moment however I m sure we will be pleasantly surprised by the result. One of the Cape Graces most unique selling points is its Bascule Bar that can provide over 400 different types of whiskeys. On occasion guests can take part in a whiskey tasting, so no need to buy a full bottle should you wish to try.
Good buffet breakfast with a good amount of vegetarian options.
It's a beautiful hotel. The service was fantastic. The convenience of having the Waterfront right at your doorstep is an absolute blessing.
Amazing whiskey restaurant. Lovely view of Cape Town
Top class hotel. Best restaurant in the City (Signal). Best views of Table Mountain. Worth every penny!
Perfect hotel, a true 5star experience in the cape Marina.
Excellent whisky bar and superb tapas .
Location is perfect to explore the beautiful waterfront and Cape Town.
Great tea lounge overlooking the yachts.
A worldclass hotel and one of the best if not tge best in Cape Town. The rooms are beautiful appointed and the Restaurant and Bar are bespoke. This is a place where the wellheeled are converging. Right adjacent is a parking space for super yachts.
This is one of the world's top hotels and worth a visit
One of the most amazing hotels I have ever spent a night
Just visited the bar, but the area is welcoming and the bar is well stocked, with friend
friendly servers.
Everything in this hotel is just perfect.. staff manners / rooms/ location... but just "fresh fruit" at the gym. You need more staff to take care of. Thanks. I'll visit here again.
A very beautiful place for a nice breakfast. You do not have to be staying at this hotel to enjoy the nice hot meals. It is a place full of smiles and where you can relax and regroup for the day.
The view of Table mountain is very close it something you can try. Evening sunset something to die for
great service from the bar staff who are courteous and thoughtful.
Excellent food and service at the Signal Restaurant. Interior design is very sophisticated, we especially loved the chandeliers. Awesome views of Table mountain. Very reasonably priced and therefore excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
High Tea was quite an experience. Excellent service
Very attentive staff, relatively cheap bar and tapas, nice amenities
After a week on safari this was a fabulous place to call home, every morning and evening the staff greeted me by name with a smile on their face. outstanding food and rooms, great location. i highly recommend this hotel.
Great tourist haven but be prepared to pay tourists prices. It's worth the experience
Cape Grace is beautifully located in the Victoria and Alfred waterfront and is close to all amenities and activities found by the V&A. The actual hotel experience is fantastic with an authentic old English feel. The decor is tastefully crafted with the rooms offering totally unique features and colors that allow for comfort in serene spaces. The other services are great with a very personalized feel that keep me going back year after year. The Whiskey Bar is a must do.
All my clients have absolutely loved the Cape Grace Hotel
Always a fantastic stay! Even if you're not sleeping at the hotel, try at Bascule for delicious snacks and a killer view.
Thank you for a great stay and super service. One of the few places in Cape Town that know how to offer 5 star service .
A must! We've been there many times for lunches dinners drinks. The food is always excellent, so is the service. Very special atmosphere. George is very knowledgeable about the wines. Had some great recommendations. Keeps himself always up to date!
Lovely place. Friendly and proffesional staff. Lovely!!!!
Love their lounge area for having tea with a gorgeous view
After reading several reviews we settled for afternoon tea here at the Cape grace hotel and we were not disappointed. There were lovely comfortable couches with nice views of the harbour. There was wonderful ceremony around the tea infusions and then a mouth watering array of food all beautifully presented. The savoury was possibly even better than the cakes and the scones were delicious with jam and lemon curd provided. As well as all of this it was for visitors good value.
One of the finest hotels in the world - always appreciate how friendly the staff are!
Awesome for Sunday breakfast when you feel like a treat. :-)
Great views if you are sitting outsid. It is a great place to be, its safe.
Friendly staff and service makes you feel at home in one of the best hotels in Cape Town! Quality and that personal touch shows through! The concierge team and drivers is the friendliest service you'll ever receive..!
Comfortable. Convenient. Relaxed. Close to all the activities in the Waterfront area.

Great experience!
Thank you!
Oh my WORD!!! A must stay for everyone who loves the best service with the most divine food, decor and taste.
Was there for dinner while being in Cape Town and I must admit that the food is excellent and not so pricey for a hotel of that standard. The staff are very friendly and the three course meal that we had was just perfect!
This hotel has it all. I would give it a 6 stars.
Location is fabulous close to many shops and restaurants.
The rooms are elegant regal.
Our room had a view of the table top mountain
And the water with a small balcony.
Large rooms. very comfortable bed and 2 sinks.
Walk in closet. The hotel has it all.
The staff are friendly. The concierge were amazing and helped us immensely.
The gift shop and jewelry store are also unique.
There is nothing to complain about.
This hotel is perfection.
