First class tour of the McCormick home and enjoyed Lego trains. Will come again in another season.

Fun and educational place to go. McCormacks mansion is fantastic. Great place to teach kids.

Great place for a walk and some history. Decent gardens too.

Always a must stop. No buildings open at this time due to COVID, but the gardens were in bloom.

This place is beautiful, clean, and tranquil. The flowers are changed with seasons. It reminds me of gardens in Europe. There is a beautiful rose garden. An interesting Idea garden, pond, and lake. The walking paths provide adequate shady spots, so you re not always exposed to the sun. A great place to take walks in the late afternoon. There are Summer concerts in the weekend and other various events.

Very beautiful, great place to take pictures, as well as hold events and the museum is a great experience for the kids.

Fun place to let kids climb various military tanks. New playground equipment. Museum is 10 stars if I could rate it that high!

Not so much a celebration of war as it is a celebration of freedom. And those that protected our freedom.

You have to envy the Americans that they can turn any positive story into success. They are fascinated by the successes of their ancestors and compatriots. And they are still earning money. Several hundred people passed through the entire facility within a few hours. The museum and history associated with it is worth recommending. I also recommend gardens.

A treasure in our own back yard. Take the time to visit.

Beautiful paths to walk around on and the house tour was very interesting.

Just pay for parking. The Division 1 museum is included in the parking, as well as the visitors center. They are plenty of restrooms, a playground area.

Absolutely beautiful, breathtaking park... Whether you're looking for a place to go with the family or to have great photography this is definitely the place to go with so many different looks to it.

The park is always a great place to visit. A great tplaxe to bring kids to let them run around. The tank park is particularly unique and a good attraction for my little ones. I highly recommend it to anybody who enjoys outdoor time .. also worth checking out the special events going on here.

Great place to visit containing natural beauties combined with artisty and thrilling millitary both outside and inside displays. Enjoy spending day. But be aware canteen closes by 2 pm which is a little discomfort as you will have to roam around for food after exertion.

Wonderfull park, garden and museum and Tanks on display

Alot of walking. Very interesting and informative. Beautiful flower gardens. Lots of tanks that kids can climb on. It's cheaper to go during the week. Admission is free but you must pay for parking.

Park is well maintained and great for kids. You can climb the tanks and walk through gardens. Only costs 5 dollars a car as well.

It's rare to have such a beautiful experience at the low cost of $0 (not including parking). Cantigny Park is lush with beautiful gardens, museums, and various trails. The staff are friendly, and highly knowledgable. I went on Memorial Day 2018, and only had to pay $10 to park in one of their ample lots. The cafe inside the welcome center satiates the urge for a quick bite. Cantigny Park is an ideal place for families, and daytime dates.

Nice park. Museums are closed on Mondays even though the website doesn't specify that. Look out. Otherwise very beautiful place and the tanks are cool.

Great place to visit. Spring blooms on Mother's Day made my wife very happy. Grounds are perfectly kept up and a new garden with pond is under construction. It will be another great addition to the property. Well worth a visit spring, summer and fall.

Tons of trees. Rolling wooded trails. Lots of critters. Saw a coyote last time.

Go to this place you will be surprised I loved the Museum Part

My kids love coming here. It's a cheap and fun way to spend the day. $10 to get in per car and you can visit the museum, the mansion, look at the gardens, play on the swing sets and climb on the tanks. So much fun is had here. We only came for a few hours but had a great time.

We have our school BBQ here every year. Parking is 10$ but it's a clean, wide open park, that's worth it. They have festival smorgasbords occasionally like the French Festival in August.

Beautiful place. The gardens are wonderful. Take the time to tour the mansion and museum. My cousin's daughter had her wedding in the gardens, a fantastic setting for the wedding. I have been there during all 4 seasons, there's always something to see.

Love Cantigny! Great place to walk around and also get some fantastic pictures. Plus, it is only $10 for the carload to get in! The museums are amazing for history lovers. Be aware they are in the middle of a multi-year renovation. Cant wait to see what it looks like when done!

The admission is 10 bucks per vehicle. Veterans get in for free as long as you show your card, 10% off at restaurants/gift shop, and only 59 bucks to . You need to fill out a form to get the veteran discounts. The museum is cool (self-guided)....one side beginning til Vietnam War other side Vietnam til now. They provide wheelchairs as long as you give an ID. They also have McCormick House Self-Guided Experience 1-4:30 pm and Outdoor Concerts periodically on the weekends. They have tanks outside for kids to climb on. The food is ok from the restaurant. Overall...good experience! If u like , flower, miltary history....this is your place to be!

Love coming here and kids do to! Highly recommend if you're looking for an all day event for the family and working on a small budget!

Nice park to spend the day. Best time to come is on weekdays. Nice place for picknick. In addition they have nice camping sites to spend the night under open sky.

Very beautiful place. It was great to be there and see the museum and the mansion. How wonderful and generous of Robert McCormick to provide such a place as Cantigny Park.

No Longer the Beautiful Lush Gardens. For many years, Cantigny was a place a beauty and elegance. Now, it has been stripped of these gardens, only to be replaced with sparsely planted new designs, lacking in beauty. I cannot believe someone would think this was an improvement. We've lost a place of delightful floral gardens, replaced by someone whose design esthetic leave mush to be desired. Don waste your time visiting. Try the Chicago Botanic Gardens, The Morton Arboretum, or other gardens around Chicago.

Lots of renovations taking place in gardens. Will be spectacular when done. We go mostly for military museum...and the mccormick mansion.

Beautiful day to stroll the enormous Rose garden and Butterfly Gardens. You must experience this gorgeous place. Witnessed a wedding group and large family having a quinceneta for their daughter. Just a wonderful place.

Great place for the family to be outside, climb on some real tanks & very low cost.

Beautiful lawns, museum, education center and gift shop. Some construction work underway but still enjoyed visiting it.

I always love coming here - have been since I was a kid. Love climbing on the tanks and going through the military musuem they have. I was pretty disappointed in them removing the drop ramp from the Higgins boat in place of a lame screen that rolls up in the D-DAY exhibit. It really added to the submersion.

They changed some minor things in the Vietnam exhibit too. The combat radio is no longer there where you can listen to the radio during combat. The soldier hidden in the bushes is no longer there either.

I do love the new modern exhibits across the room! The VR feature is pretty good too.

Cantigny is a beautiful place to visit anytime of the year. I visited in autumn, the colors were lovely. The gardens, flowers, trees, all the landscaping are beautiful. The gardens are the perfect size for a leisurely visit. Next time will visit the museum. Highly recommend visiting this lovely, historical treasure. Was surprised to discover that McCormick of Tribune wealth, left this property for all Illinoians to enjoy forever.

Cantigny Park provides a lovely venue for civic events and concerts. In season the gardens are well cared for and beautiful.

This was my first experience here and though I am not historically savvy, this place is incredible! What a wonderful display and experience for families! The grounds are beautiful, the tanks are an experience like nowhere else, and the memorials/exhibits are so detailed! We will definitely be back to venture further into the gardens!

When told that you can purchase tickets at the door for an event. Then show up and told event is sold out. Don't publicize something that you DON'T/WON'T intend on honoring.

Great information on the tours about the family and staff. Lovely gardens for weddings or just taking a stroll, any time of the year. Gardens change with the season. I try to come at least once a year.

Very cool Park and Museums. My family spent 3-4 hours here, and we didn't get to see everything. We will be back!
