The facility it's self is clean and nice
The kids playground is good but only staffed on Fridays and the weekend so midweek there is no one controlling the number or age of children in there.
The food is expensive and ordinary, frozen beef patties in the burgers and oily chips.
The kitchen service is ordinary, some meals are hot others come out cold. Tomatoes sauce served in sachets, massive waste of plastic.
Other staff generally ok, dinning area staff seem to take it outrageously personally if you leave your chair without pushing it in.

Excellent venue...on the second visit with friends i wanted to become a member...easy parking..the bistro food is well above par...nice atmosphere..

I haven t been there for a long time, and I m taking care of it now.

The Dynasty restaurant and Lavico have excellent food and service. The bistro is mediocre.

Disappointed with the female receptionist who forced an under 18 to sign in to the guest register (an offence in NSW) on December 10.

Awesome place,friendly staff. Reasonable priced meal with a great variety to choose from.drinks are also cheap.

One of the most opulent clubs in Sydney. Currently in renovation and can't wait to see even better facilities.

Yummy dinner Barr fish...prices reasonable....service with a smile would be nice...body language from waitress very mundane...needs to change her mindset ..

Busy place with nice atmosphere and good food selection. Great to see a gym in the facility as well. Bakehouse Cafe has very interesting selection of deserts & drinks on offer. Service was a little slow on our visit though it was a very busy night.

Great place for entertainment for the whole family.

Good place to hang out. Yummy food and bar. Big entertainment area to chill and great fun for $20 at the pokies. We take the kids here to eat but since they can't enter the pokie area, we normally like to just come here with a few friends. Concierge by the way are always very friendly.

Great shows at excellent prices. 4 good restaurants. Lovely waterfall and volcano. Easy parking. Excellent Yum Cha.

It is a good place to go, but not safe, I have been assaulted by a man when I was in a poker machine area, the security did not do anything to protect me and they just let the man go after seeing him attack me, also this man did not sign in to enter the club and does not have a membership.
I am taking the club to court.

Huge space and friendly atmosphere for families. I have enjoyed many celebrations here and love the fountain and palm trees.

Forever redeveloping - it is slowly growing into a mini casino amongst the suburbs - several dining options, shows and a gym to keep you busy

On-site security personnel allowed a theft to happen - a friend and I were tracking down a lost Apple Watch and when we located it on a patron (via the alarm on Apple's tracking system), we were inexplicably thrown out of the club!

But hey I guess it's club policy to somehow keep gambling addicts addicted and keep the money flowing!

Average place, very beautiful decor. The restaurants are nice, and parking access is fairly decent. I would recommend this place for most people who want to hang out and enjoy their time in a RSL, it's not the best one out there, but it's not too bad. The staff are fairly average in nearly all respects, and can at times come off as unfriendly, especially in the front of house. Greeting, a positive vibe and making someone feel welcome should be first and foremost on the agenda.

There are function rooms available for booking, an entertainment hall, a gambling hall, a bistro and even a gym. The main attraction is the fire lit water fountain on the front.

This place is mafnificent. The decor and design of the entire facility is excellent. The food at the Banyan Brasserie and the Cafe is excellent. Two thumbs up for the ribs at the brasserie. The coffee at the cafe was delicious. Lemon lime and bitters at the bar was the best i've ever had.

Comfortable (plenty of area) ..food good (use of gloves in kitchen and with deliverers is appreciated)..prices above average..

I go here every once in a while and the food from the Bistro is always cold.

Beautiful place, lots of carpark, lots of different cuisine

Disappointed after our first visit on a Saturday night. Service was very ordinary - given the look-away for most of the hour or so we were at the Bakehouse. Food was good but you pay for it - average value in the scheme of things. Needs better choice of wine by the glass.

Good place to spend your day and evenings dont stay too long if your playing pokies

Very disrespectful worker, called to ask if I may use my Bankstown Sports Club ID to sign in and got told I was "being annoying" then the worker simply hung up the phone. Ridiculous behaviour!!

Came here for yum cha on the weekend - there was no enough ladies with the food trolleys. We had to ask and order food separately (which was annoying). Food is okay. No overly cheap though.

One of best Facilitated RSL Club and best for Family & friends gatherings. Wonderful Hospitality and Indoor outdoor seating area. Beautiful views from outside and Insiders. Big Parking Zone. Thanks again RSL Management for there best efforts and continues developing Services.

Bistro has nice food. Abundance of pokies. Some staff lack the positivity required for customer service.

look i will admit the food is pretty good... but as waiting in line on a saturday night a staff member who i shall not name to protect his job said imagine voluntarily coming to canterbury on a saturday . This was quite insulting as we had to decided to vista on a saturday night for a birthday celebration... Once again the food is great.. but i recommend you retrain your staff as a whole... if you find out who did it please don t fire them.. i just thought you should know

Omg this place is like Visiting Vegas, without the air flight. It looks like a five star hotel from the outside, with its waterfalls, light features and flora. Inside is the same with huge floral arrangements, some real and lots fake, very tastefully decorated, the ambience and aesthetics are stunning.
Service was fast and friendly from the bar, to the Bistro and the Bakehouse. We'll definitely be back.
Try anything on the menu you won't be disappointed plus generous serves and everything comes with sauce!
The Bakehouse had Oreo Churros and we shared it among 6 of us and were quite pleased. I must add I love the crockery and wooden tables! Where can I buy the same?

Absolutely Amazing place so beautiful and food was amazing !!

Food was plated really quickly and it wasn't crowded.

I was invited by a family friend and Club member to sample Flame Grille restaurant's new Spring menu recently. We were not disappointed. After enjoying a drink at the adjacent cosy lounge area we proceeded to the dining room. We met the lovely head chef Kamahl and then proceeded to sample and enjoy the magnificent range of courses that followed.

Firstly tasty Mezze plates (the hummus was the best I've ever tasted) and a fresh Goats feta salad with picked beetroot and roast butternut pumpkin.

The 2nd course followed. My favourite was Spanish style chicken with chorizo with tomato and white beans. However the Fresh figs wrapped in prosciutto with gorgonzola sauce and the Fried calamari with green onion and ginger salsa were equally delicious.

Next course Mains. Wild mushroom risotto with truffle oil was perfect cooked, creamy and flavoursome. Berkshire (free range) pork belly with apple and rhubarb chutney was crispy on the outside and tender and tasty inside. Victorian lamb cutlets were tender with a lovely flavour. Only disappointment here was the accompanying mashed potato which was a little too salty for my palate. There was also a choice of 2 pizzas and these were surprisingly good for a Club. Traditional Italian crust and nice combination of toppings ie Grilled lamb with feta and tzatziki, the other choice was Baked prawn and feta with chilli and aged balsamic glaze. By this stage we could only sample a thin sliver of pizza!

The desserts samples were a definite highlight. My fave was the Dark chocolate hazelnut pudding, light and chocolaty without being too sweet and served with a tangy blood orange gelato. Heaven. The other choices we tasted a little of was a Frozen coconut yogurt with a sweet potato sauce-fresh and not too heavy. Lastly a deconstructed baked peach cheesecake. Yum.

All meals were served promptly by polite and pleasant wait staff.

Just to add, it is important that vegetarian and gluten free options are catered for these days. May we suggest a vegetarian 2nd course gluten free option.

Overall we could not fault the meals and table staff at the Flame restaurant within Canterbury Leagues Club!

Went to have dinner at the bistro with my friends last night. 3 of us ordered fish and chips, yuck never ever in any other eatery I ve seen so much oil and the chips were like accumulation of left overs. It looks like the food was fried an left till later to be heated again. We all were disgusted but my friends didn t want to make a scene. We promised never to go there again. I was so sick with tummy pain all that night. It s a shame to serve horrible food like this in a very well known club .

The tea restaurant here is delicious and affordable

Promoted a Christmas meal available throughout December. When ordered the staff had no idea and on checking was told it was only available occasionally through December.

This place gets 5 stars mainly because of the yumcha resturant. The yum cha here is absolutely amazing. I've taken many friends and family here and everybody falls in love with this place.
Canterbury leagues club also has a cute cafe style restaurant called bake house which is also worth checking out :) . Cannot recommend the yumcha enough though!

Just had lunch today at Lavico Restaurant at the club cannot say how happy we were with the food and the fantastic staff ,also a big thank you to Wayne Noland who went above and beyond our guest who are members were extremely happy.
Looking forward to going again soon.

Spacious, pleasant staff, friendly atmosphere affordable restaurants and diners, relaxed environmrnt incorporating tranquil waterfalls, not to mention an abundance of gaming facilities.

Beautiful place with a waterfall in the front and inside! Beautiful atmosphere with the greenery! It's as if you've stepped into another world. Happy that it's going through some major renovations! Great yumcha at the Dynasty. Only con is that the food from Banyan Brasserie is average, quite cold and quite pricy. Overall, good experience.

Besides the amazing gym, the place is beautiful, the restaurants are amazing and the cost of the membership is cheap, I love going to the Bistro always nice food

Love this club. Its so beautifully done, has amazing food and so much to do. 24/7 gym with great facilities. Staff are all friendly. Just a great atmosphere.

What a stunning place! Like stepping into a rainforest but with yummy food and coffee Went to the bakehouse cafe, absolutely delicious food, lovely attentive staff. Highly recommended
