This is one of my favorite places to go in October. I love the shows they put on for Halloween. It is entertaining, and theres a great variety of haunted houses. I'm not a big fan of all the rides cause I don't like spinning around a lot, but that's my preference. In the summer my favorite is the Boston tea party! If you haven't been to Canobie lake during Halloween, then I recommend you go, its a great time for laughs and scares.
I enjoyed the moment with my Brother in faith and with my family
This park is geared to families of all ages. The staff maintain the park and can be seem cleaning and picking up trash thru out the day.
I'll never step foot in Six Flags again, after rediscovering this place.
Too many people allowed in the park drove 2 hours went on 3 rides for 39 dollars. Feel ripped off.
Super fun for the whole family, there's lots of variety, bring a bathing suit, towel, good water proof shoes, and lots of water!
Amazing even though the rides and games change all the time, brought me back to my childhood and it was wonderful to share with my 4 kids as well...great family day amusement
This is a review based on Covid regulations only.
All year-long, my daughter asks to go to CLP. It is her favorite place. In fact, we attended 3 times last season.
After reading the website/new rules in place, I thought, ok this sounds do-able let's go in the cooler weather because the mask will be hard on my daughter in the heat of summer.... but in all honesty we should have skipped the park all together in this pandemic.
Let's just say our experience fell so short. Just read the other reviews on the way rides are set up at sometimes a quarter of the regular capacity. And you have to wait sometimes up to an hour for a ride because of it. No one is socially distanced in line- or at the food court. Yet, the rides are regulated. Go figure.
Not to mention, you take an hour out of your day to have a meal. So let's say the park is open from 10:30 to 6. Maybe you can squeeze in 5 rides and a lunch break if you're quick and dragging your kids through the park.
I'd say, the park is worth it for kids under 4. Kiddie land moves faster. But even there, all the rides are not operational.
Total rip off, and I wish I asked for a refund.
Decent pricing, free parking, not too big, not too small. Great variety of rides, ok food, shady areas.
Experience was great! The park is very clean. It is expensive for families. Food is very expensive. One should bring in some bottled water. If that is a security issue then it should be available at low price.
Canobie is great in fact I love Screemfest I'm going now
Great place fun for the whole family does get busy but should definitely come here at least once
Nice small amusement park with a newly added water area. There are not that many water rides, but the ones they do have are pretty good and at least now the water and park are very clean. The rest of the park is nice, we mainly only went to the kid areas so I can't really review the rest. Friendly staff. Food lines can get long during normal eating times.
Security is on a power trip. One guy especially was extremely rude towards me. Not worth the money to go. Find a lake to go to instead, you'll have more fun and save a ton of money
if it was a little bit less expensive I'd give it 5 stars, but lots of rides for kids over 42" and plenty of games.
Park is fun as long as you like the rides. Canobie does not have high end or top of the line rides but gives you enough to enjoy. The water park is little bigger than before is plus.
Problems - Food quality is horrible and on top of that they over charge for that trashy food. I am sorry I am using these words but this is based on my experience.
I tried chicken burrito - junk because no flavor, feels like eating non cooked meal. D-
Corn chips - Comes with burrito and they were over cooked and too oily.D-
Cheese fries - taste of something weird with the cheese. C-
Soft serve - Too much water, instead of milk or cream (not sure what they usr). Even McDonald's offer 1000 times better soft serve. D-
Pizza - This was ok and I didn't mind eating it. B-
Regular fries- these fries were really good and you can buy them at water park area. A+
Big park with lots of entertainment at very reasonable prices
He has a good time with family with friends a good place to spend the day ..
Good day if you take advantage of discounts. Food is just ok, but otherwise run and clean. Good for families with young kids through early teens
Staff operating the rides are a little slow under the circumstances (lines are very long) they need to be a little more considerate with moving people along, I understand there are guidelines but mgt. Should look into moving things along better
Best rides ever!!!! Yankee Cannonball is now the fastest roller coaster ever. Great Food great service and it was AMAZING! At night there are colors shining bright! Better price them 6flags. This is 35$. I LOVE CANOBIE
Our family had a blast...cant wait until the other slides are opened this summer for *2018* I definitely have to take another trip out there.
Even though some of the attractions were closed, due to covid, my family and I had an amazing time.
Scream fest was a disaster. Dropped my daughter off. It took me over an hour and a half to get out of the parking lot!!!!!! They only cared about getting people in there to make their money. There were hundreds of cars trying to get out. Not organized at all.
Park is fantastic, but ticket is a little pricey in my opinion.
Fun place. Rides for all ages. Free parking! Clean. Pretty. Lots of visible security and staff. Only negative: food and drinks cost too much...but that's at most fun parks.
I love listening to all those kids screaming down the roller coaster from our kyack. Takes you back. Gteat summer sounds. Halloween as well.
Went 8/8/2020...stayed about 20minutes total. Most of the rides were not operating so the few rides that were open had enormous lines. Very unfair and misleading to charge full price for less than half the park.
We did receive a full refund. Ashame because it looked like a nice and clean park but we will not return.
My only complaint about canobie lake Park is that it's very very dirty. The tables and general prep area for all the food made me not want to eat during our trip there. Other than that, the staff was pleasant and the rides just as I remembered. The fishing well is still there and just as fun as I remembered, my daughter loved it!
It was great love going there, would go more often if it wasn't so expensive to get in and the food wasn't expensive that is why we bring our own food
Been coming here for over forty years been very clean and come from Maine with family the park is very dirty and I mean dirty tables and grounds not clean very not impressed at all.
Haven't been back in over 15 years. My parents, my 9 year old and I had a blast.
The park has a good range of attractions, from the small, non-threatening rides that younger children would love, to a few rollercoasters and exciting water rides, and everything in between. The shows they put on, covering well-known music, are generally entertaining.
The downside, however, is the food. I would reccomend that, if planning to stay the entire day, to not plan on eating meals in the park. The snacks are great -- Dippin' Dots, fried dough, slush -- but when it comes to more substantial food, they fail to measure up. Their provider, Sodexo, is known for sub-par food, lack of attention to cooking standards, and upset stomachs, and the small variety of questionable-quality food that they provide is really not worth the price -- you're better off packing sandwiches from home.
Loved this place since I was a kid. Amusement parks are the best place to go if u like to bring out your inner child
This place is awesome. Didn't have to wait too long on many lines, and it was a sunny Saturday! We went on so many different rides and ate at so many different spots. There are also several food locations that serve alcohol if you are into that. My 2 young kids loved it and I'm sure they will remember going here forever.
Drinks are very important in Summer. Think about your customers. They already paid for the ticket, so make them comfortable. I bought a souvenir cup, and I found just one place to refill it. Not cool.
Otherwise loved it.
Great fun for all ages my husband and I are 45 no small children... we had a fantastic time.... the rides n the water park were better than expected... we will return
It's fun but boy does it break the bank! Even with the small discounts you may find....
Not quite a Six Flags, not quite the world's best permanent carnival but a park trapped in some kind of charming and nostalgic limbo between the two. The park is a strange mix and mash of unrelated and most likely unplanned additions over the years, ranging from huge swaths of off the shelf kiddie spinners, to one of only two remaining caterpillar rides in the world, to the only audio-animatronic dark ride in New England, to a modern Eurofighter Coaster.
Long Lines, Most rides were for smaller children. Food is beyond overpriced. But a generally good experience.
Fond memories of this place all the way back to highschool , they have continued to make updates and the waterpark is a great addition for families, park overall has a quaint, non-commercial, local feel.
We love Canobie Lake park. Something to do for every age group. Food is expensive, but pretty typical for most theme parks.
Fun, but it can be pricey. The lines are also rather long.
Nice place, rides run a bit small, so better as a family park. Would've liked more thrills like Six Flags, but it's decent being so close to home.
Love it-- I've been going to Canobie Lake Park since I was a child
Nice amusement park. Lots of greenery and no long waits for the rides. Food is horrible unless your buying candy, popcorn, cotton candy, candy apples and ice cream. Not good to employees. When management messes up they use employees as scape goats with no apologies when they recognize it's their error.
Cleanest amusement park you'll visit. Plenty of fun and fast rides for old and young.
