I freakn love this place. Been going all my life and still enjoy it every summer.
Fun for all. Make sure to check seasonal hours before going!
Because of Covid its SO DIFFERENT. Almost none of the adult rides are open & if they are its a mile long line & the ride is only at half capacity. BUT the lazy river in the water park was dope. They let us go around as much as we wanted even tho only a certain amount of people can go in. But if you have kids then theyll have a blast. I went w my boyfriend & we went on 2 rides in 5 hours. Just saying. It only gets 4 stars because i know theyre trying their best.
the workers at the gate are extremely rude. especially the staff leader in the purple shirt working today. she said my shirt was too short , yet there are people walking around with bras and bikinis on, or no shirt at all and they do nothing to stop it. the staff do not care about the guests feelings and i felt very uncomfortable in this environment and it ruined my whole experience because i was showing an inch of stomach. also felt discriminated because they let a bunch of other girls through with barley no shirt on, but when i try to enter, they deny it. that was very rude and ruined my day today, considering i had to drive all the way home to change into another shirt exactly the same and they let me through. the food workers are the best workers!
Tons of fun for people of all ages... Games, water park, and lots of rides.
Lots of fun , the haunted houses had huge lines but that's to be expected .
Good place for a family day out with all things considered during the pandemic. It's well staffed with the exception of some of the food queues. The food is a little pricey which I imagine offsets the good value park tickets.
I think they could be a bit more sensible about ride capacity. Many of the cars are far apart but they choose to operate the rides at 1/4 or 1/2 capacity which leads to long lines. It's great that they enforce rules to keep you safe but there is a bit of inconsistency on how they are applied.
Always go at least once a year. Always loved it. Halloween time is great there. They do great haunted houses
This park is kept clean and tidy and security is paramount which is great to see. Staff and security will not stand for any rowdy behaviour or messing around, making it a pleasure to be within the park.
The catering is taken care of by teens or very young 20 somethings therefore don't expect quality food or food cooked to a standard that you might expect. The park doesn't allow food or drink to be taken into the park, bit naughty but they want to make maximum profit.
When we arrived in the park several of the rides were closed, they didn't state why! maybe because of the numbers within the park, it was very quiet.
The singing, acrobat acts were good and the three rollercoaster rides that didn't last very long were also good. However, I don't like the fact that they are some rides that you have to pay for inside the park.
The lake tour was nice and relaxing , but you will get house envy!
So for a family of four at $147 It was a nice family day out, but I think there is better out there!
Love the place.. Can spends the whole day with lot of rides .. Water rides are good..Awesome atmosphere and crowd
This park is great. They cost less than 6 flags and don't nickle and dime the hell out of.you like six flags either. Parking is free and closer. Water was $3 a bottle, half that of six flags. Food prices were better. Rides were just as good or better if you count how many there were for kids. The one thing six flags has that is considerably better is the waterpark. And if you want more cool adult rides Six Flags is the way to go.
Had a fun time. Im a plus size woman and could fit on all the rides I tried. Except the wooden rollercoaster i think its called the cannon ball.
Love love love the lazy river. Incredible time with the family.
This place makes my family and I so happy! thanks for all the great memories and staff that makes them possible!
We went for this year's Mother's Day, Yes my girlfriend wanted to spend Mother's day in Canobie Lake.
They had a deal mothers had free admission as long they had a child with them. The place was packed. Unfortunately when canobie lake is packed the wait times for rides are massive, being a older amusement park they don't have fast pass options for purchase. That's why I give it a 4 stars, if I can get a day were I go and have reasonable wait time to do rides while being sunny out I will gladly give it a 5 star.
I gave the park five stars last year because I do love the fact that it's a family park. Now that they've made changes in the water park the prices have gone up for admission as well as the games. The water park is no longer friendly for small children or kids that don't know how to swim, the lazy River pool is dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. It's completely overcrowded and the set up of the chairs for parents to keep eyes on their children has a minimal and/or obstructed view. The chairs should spread out across the area where the lifeguards walk around the pool.
The park is super dark at night as if someone didn't pay their light bill, the area's in the back where Untamed and other rides are were pitch black and we were thinking it's a perfect place for a mugging ... No BS. Please fix the lighting and pool area so that we can Love The park again
What happened in 1902? Gold is discovered in Nevada and Alaska.
US President Teddy Roosevelt refuses to kill a captive bear on a hunt. This created a fashion for teddy bear toys. W.R. Hearst allows the first ever syndication of a newspaper comic strip. And last but not least. Canobie Lake was born. Along the way however we've lost Toys r Us, FAO Schwarz. Places that have been enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of people. But one place has stood the test of times, and remains a staple in American Entertainment and Family Fun... Canobie Lake Park.
I brought my daughter there the other day for her 5th birthday! She was SO excited about turning 5 that she was telling everyone. As we were near the front entrance, one of the EMT's (Kaitlyn) overheard that it was her birthday. She brought my daughter over to the customer service desk where she gave her a canobie lake birthday card, sticker, and a cute little bear. Kaitlyn definitely made my daughters birthday that much better! We cant thank Kaitlyn enough for going above and beyond to make my daughters day that much better!
During the 1980s, Digital Equipment Corporation would hand out hundreds of passes to this park. My kids loved it and it reminded me a bit of my own childhood memories of Rye Beach (Playland). It has a certain charm and I'm glad that it is still in operation.
Tons of rides, games, and fun to be had here. Very clean park too. Didn't see one piece of trash. While it was very packed, the lines moved quickly at Log Flume and kiddie rides. Admission is $39.99 for adults and discounts for seniors and children under 12. 3 and under is Free! My only issue is no outside food or beverages are allowed. When it was 96 degrees and I have to spend $2.99 on bottled water, I'm not spending money elsewhere. I dropped $50 on lunch, water, 2 iced coffees and an ice cream. If I can pack my own lunch, I'm likely to leave with souvenirs and spending more $$ on games. Will definitely be back.
We go every year such a clean place lots of shade for those hot days
If you're expecting a Six Flags type park, this isn't it and in a good way. While smaller it still has plenty to offer at a much lower price for all ages. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The park is always very clean and in great condition. Very scenic. Many trees and views of the lake throughout. Never too crowded if you go on a weekday. Free parking and all parking is close to the the entrance so if you want to pack a cooler lunch/drinks it's a short walk back. Highly recommend the water park on a warm day and the 20-25 minute cruise on the lake. Best part is everything is included with the admission price. Discount coupons always available from local retailers.
It is a awesome place it gets better and better I will keep coming more and more.
I work as a special education teacher for a public high school and every year for the end of the year field trip we visit Canobie!! Canobie is so accommodating to our needs! We always have the best time!
There a lot rides and great places to eat. Also it a great to bring your parents and children to have fun.
Beautiful park, easy to get to. Tons of fun for everyone in the family.
Love this park if you go in after 5 much cheaper open till 10
They're trying their hardest to keep people from spreading the virus. Using the 6ft apart and cleaning rides off. Having people drive around and tell you to wear your mask. They also have a sanitizer person walking around.
Rides do take a lot longer though. And you can't ride all the rides because they're using every other seat. So prices should be lowered.
I also don't think they should let people wear shirts to the park that promote acts of violence. I saw a guy wearing a shirt that said if they kill we roit!!!! No reason for this in a park of children. This is a family place.
I liked Canobie Lake Park. My family and I went there in July. We went on Untamed, Yankee Cannonball, and Canobie Corkscrew. Good place to visit for a day.
Always a lot of fun. Went for scream fest and the line to gdy in was terrible and only ended up staying for the last 2 hours.
Going at the very beginning of the season is much better than going during the summer because there is no crowds.
Great fun magic show was really good lines were not too bad
This place is okay, I get we have to wear masks but honestly it was so hard to breathe in it after walking all day, the lake is beautiful but it's just not the best place to go during COVID
Great job with covid. Hour wait for rides and food. Had fun!
As a kid, i used to go every weekend, Now that i have little ones i want them to experience it also!
I feel like there is no customer service with any of the workers! they all seem so miserable. i understand its hot out and you have excited kids everywhere but c'mon. as soon as we walked up to the teller to pay for our tickets, they had my 2 girls stand up to the gate to see if they height requirement was in reach of 48" below to qualify for the difference in price and my girls were right at the mark, so i said wow you just made it! the lady at the counter said they didn't qualify, that they were over the line, i said no they were at the line. she refused to give me the kids price. i couldn't just walk away, that would have killed my girls so i payed it. The park is really nice but i just feel like no one was happy from the food stands to the ride operators. i wont be back and it is unfortunate cause i loved it as a kid!
Loved all the shows and rides and the water rides and slides
Canobie is a great place to spend the day! There's rides, games, and even a water park. There's a kids area with smaller rides which my daughter loves as well as rides that will delight your thrill seekers. If I had one complaint it would be regarding food selection. You have the standard pizza hut, Mexican place, fried dough, and ice cream but if you have any type of dietary issues you may want to pack a lunch and eat in the parking lot. Luckily Canobie does allow readmission with a proper hand stamp.
One of my all time favorite parks. Spectacular landscaping, rides and attention to detail. The Yankee Cannonball feels like a paint shaker, but other than that I can't say a thing wrong about this park.
My 7 yr old had a blast on the coasters .... enjoyed the fact that I could ride the rides with my 4yr old daughter as well
A great place things to do from ages 3 to 99 short lines clean bathrooms lines on the rides weren't too bad at all
Prices have gone up, nothing really has changed over the years except for rides being down a lot. Maybe adding some new attractions would be nice...
It is a nice amusement park and they also have a water slides and a lazy river and it is a nice place to go with your family for a trip and that is why i gave it 4 stars the only thing is that there are really long lines to go on rides so i did not go in all
Love Canobie. Been going since I was little. Now my kids enjoy it. Screemfest was really cool.
All the employees are so nice, love the Tea Party ride toy can get so wet then stand on the bring after to get even wetter or just walk by and a boat coming down will get toy
Nice little park. It has some really nice rides. Not like a Six Flags but Canobie has a much more reasonable price. We had a great time here.
Good to share in family, all ages have a place to enjoy together.
