I'm not the biggest roller coaster fan, but this place was awesome! So I was mostly the camera man for the day, but that was still really fun!
A good local amusement park. Not comparative to Six Flags or other national parks. But a fairly affordable place to take the family. The food is terrible and expensive. Bring a picnic
Great family fun. Short lines. Fun rides. Nice complimentary boat ride and nice waterfront Italian restaurant
I went during covid19 and the staff was very alert and kind as to how to help get into the park! They had sanitizer in every location at the park, at all the rides. It has always been a great experience going, I thought maybe it was going to be a horrible experience because of covid19 but nope it was another wonderful day spent at the park. They followed protocol to the T. My concern was more about the guests! They sure didn't seem to understand the rules and constantly ontop of u in the lines! The ground was properly marked but they didn't seem to care!. Im not taking about the children either. It was more the adults acting like children who couldn't seem to understand the concept of 6 feet apart! But as always the staff were great and helpful!
I got kicked off the Boston Tea Party, and this is altogether an extremely expensive place to go. Don't waste your time
Me and my family went ty o Canobie Lake Park and had so much fun!!
The new waterpark is awesome. A fun day for 6 grandkids, mom, dad, and grammie! Rides, shows, food, cleanliness all get 5 stars! I especially enjoyed the senior discount! There is something for every age at Canobie Lake Park!
Personally I love this place. Some people disagree with me, but I think the park is very clean and not too tacky. The rides although on the smaller side are still entertaining. And overall it is a cheaper day than going to a larger park. I think the park is a nice park, and is fun for families to go to, but I still enjoy it from time to time even being older. But I did grow up going here so I some sentiment towards this place.
Went for a work outing and had a great time! Love the log ride.
Fort hood is in a constant state in which the government has not been a part for it and the people there have not seen
To have a good family time, this place is perfect and not that expensive.
The cost is so high now. For large families it costs 150 dollars to get in. Not fair since the we adults went on one only.
Very fun amusement park they are always adding something every year
I loved. The staff is excellent and the park has many attractions ... the only food, we bought some tacos that cost $ 8.99 and we ended up dropping them
Great for kids. Water park was over crowded the day we were there.
Wow love the place - super awesome enjoyed whole day trip.
Really fun place, with great rides and above average food!
Everything in one place! Water park, kiddie and big kid rides, food, alcohol, fireworks... What else can you ask for?
Great family place. Lots to do! Entrance fee gives access to all rides.
We went there and had a blast. The lines were not to long so we could easily get on a lot of rides. The prices are reasonable for an amusement park. The food in the park at some of the restaurants could be brought up a little bit to be more appealing and appetizing. They have not returned any of my questions when I have emailed them so I am a little disappointed on their customer service.
Very nice waterpark for families. My only concern, it was too crowded especially after Covid. Have to stay for 1 hour to get a ride in lazy river and some other rides were even more busy. Toddlers area was the least crowded so we stayed most of the time there.
Small park without many great rides. I always leave disappointed. The ferris wheel took an hour, avoid that.
Great family fun and adventure! We can not wait to go back!
The wait for the water park was hours. It was in the upper 80's so waiting in line for anything for hours would be awful. They need to find a way to better improve the water park experience.
Canobie is a local legend. It's nothing truly spectacular - so if you're expecting crazy amazing rides, lower your expectations a bit. Don't let that deter you, though - it's a warming, welcoming place to make memories. Plenty of fun rides and plenty of goofy campy ones to laugh about for years after. I hope they never lose the haunted mine. It's goofy as hell, but super fun. I only wish they could restore some of it's original effects, but you know. It is what it is.
If you have an afternoon to kill, definitely check it out. Plus it's cheaper after 5pm.
Great family oriented amusement park, with rides and activities for all ages. My entire family even thoroughly enjoyed the Bruno Mars tribute show and the fireworks just after dark.
Awesome amusemt park with 3 rollercoasters and many rides
A good time for the whole family! I came with my wife, mother in law, 3 yo and 3 month old. I think my 3 yo had the best time, there were lots of kids rides that weren't busy. The water park was packed, but amazing! I liked the boat around Canobie lake. The amusement park is somewhat small and dated for the cost of it, and the roller coasters had a long line which is why it got 4/5 stars.
Classic well upkept new england amusement park. Bring your own food though. Especially unappetizing cafeteria food
It has a great time. You have to visit it. Entertainment for everyone.
We've been visiting Canobie since our son was 4. 5 years later he has grown up with it as his favorite summer time getaway location. Thrill rides, shows, and a water park make for a full day for the family. There are numerous food stands that might only be a few dollars less than other amusement parks, so expect to pay a price you might not think worth it for a little bite to eat. The positive is you can get a souvenir cup that will allow you to have refills for a buck as of 2019. Parking is free. The grounds are kept incredibly well. Canobie isn't so big that you can't get through most of the attractions in a day. Worth a visit if you're familiarizing your children with the concept of an amusement park. You will find something for all ages.
Canobie is a nice amusement park with affordable prices for entry. It provides a fair experience with rides and a water park included. Food is expensive, as expected, but portions are also huge in many cases. It is a nice setting for a family, with rides to please the older kids and adults, and attractions for a younger crowd as well. Line wait times aren't too hefty. Your ticket includes entry to Castaway park, a water area (I'll write a review for that as well). To me, this makes Canobie a five star deal. My only critique is that while canobie is fun for a day with the kids, many rides are simply repackaged carnival rides, and I can't see it being all too exciting for an only adult crowd (though the groups there seemed to be well entertained). Overall 4.5
Great rides and service all around. Went 2 weeks ago warm but enough shade around. Park is better if those going are fearless on small to large rides. Toddler area was nice. The lines moved quickly throughout the park except for one ride but it was worth it. Must be there at open. Park starts to empty out at 4. Open late so it is possible to do all rides in one visit. 4 of us went 2 were kids ages 3 and 7. Look for coupons or discounts before going.
This park is a fun and safe place to work for the summer with a family atmosphere.
Place is always good but covid cut the crowds in half
Very crowded and long lines for every ride. I saw at least 6 rides that weren't running the day we were there. Basically an overpriced glorified carnival
The attractions were good but the price online did not match the price at the booth when we got there
We spent 4 hour with a 5 & 3 yr old boys. They loved it! I was afraid they were too young to enjoy especially with the cost of admission. The employees were so pleasent and aware of what was going on around them. The rides were in great shape and the park was clean. We will visit again!
There is so much to do! It's a short drive from Boston and definitely worth it.
Yes I enjoy the park with my granddaughters also my daughter getting on some rides we had so much fun too. It has so many new events to look around and love to walk around the park..Iam a fans with Canobie lake park ever since 1978 I always taken my daughter's on weekends to Canobie Lake park since they been littles girls and now they are grownup ladies and they bring their own children's to Canobie Lake Park as well. I am gladly my granddaughters are being parts of Canobie lake park they the one enjoy it now ...
Great place to bring your family & spend a day having fun
Canobie is an excellent experience for all ages. The staff are very friendly and the place is kept surprisingly clean despite it being a very high traffic area. All the rides are excellent and there are options for all ages. The food is a bit pricey, very similar to a baseball game, but that's to be expected. Overall great experience!
Wish they had Roller Coasters for all sizes they do but not a lot seeing the size of the park.
It's a great place to have a day out with the family
Love it! My family goes every year since I was a little girl
Run time! Enjoyed the day dispite the wearing of the masks
Enjoyed most of the rides, view entertainment with my husband, son, grandsons.
The best amusement park in the Northeast! My family has been going here for 12 years, ever since I was only 2. We've gone once or twice every summer, as it's only about an hour and a half away from Rhode Island. The food is pricy, due to the meal tax and well, no matter what amusement park you go to, the food will be more expensive. What we do is bring sandwiches in a cooler, as well as drinks, and when noontime comes around you can just go back to your car, eat, and go right back in! If you're looking for some fun around Salem, I would definitely recommend coming here! :)
Went on "Senior Day" and got free admission! Nice family oriented park, somewhat dated but well-kept. Great for kids especially, but we had fun too.
My girls had a blast and mami was happy they got to enjoy themselves for a while.
Great park with lots of fun rides, great did and reasonable prices.
