A bit outdated. Good vibe, relatively poor service.

A large open place in front of the dom and green trees add more beauty to this place.

A legendary place for culture in Slovenia, with great and diverse cultural events. A real culture centre, not just of Ljubljana, but of Slovenia.

Always great events and shows. There was a lot going on in Cankar and I know (for sure) that there will be more.

The cultural center of Slovenia with calm and peaceful vibes, great concert and other cultural experiences. There is also a coffe shop at the ground floir and club on the top.

Slovenia's largest cultural center has several concert and congress halls and clubs, from the more intimate, round to the largest Gallus, which has two balconies and a mighty organ. It is known for its excellent acoustics. Various receptions or other events take place right in the spacious lobby. There are two galleries for the exhibition. The entire home is furnished in a minimalist style, with marble, glass and metal standing out. The rooms work elegantly, cleanly and calmly. The building is connected to the Maximarket, which leads to the underground parking house ubi eva.
In its four-decade history, Cankarjev dom has hosted the best concerts, performances, dances, exhibitions, films, congresses, receptions and lectures. The home is excellently technically equipped and enables high production. I recommend buying tickets through their website to avoid the crowds and it is usually also cheaper.
Cankarjev dom is rightly named after one of our greatest artists!

Cankarjev dom is a place to go alone, or with friends or as a couple to a romance evening. They carefully choose events, with a spot on i, so you can enjoy every event they provide. I would say they know how to treat every single person... which goes with a carefully chosen glass of champagne

The last performance of Flowers in the Fall is an excellent performance

An excellent ambience, an acoustic hall that provides a good view of the stage from each corner.

It is difficult to find the right hall for a new visitor.

Parking is not around. There is no parking place, accept in a garage

Just love it. Great hall, good acoustic. Suited for concerts but also good for opera performances.

Central place for cultural events in the city. Always some events or concerts. Worth visiting.
