Attended the Mother's Day brunch, food was tasty, service was good, it would have been nice if there was a special something for the mothers, for example a flower or a little token of appreciation but overall it was an enjoyable brunch.

Stayed one night, ate at the restaurant, had the buffet (all-you-can-eat), room was nice, 2 Queen's, very comfortable. Duvet was very thick, and too hot for the weather, but sheets were very comfortable.

I have never stayed overnight, but have been to many of the restaurats and entertainment areas, including garbonzos, celebrations and the tavern, and i was thoroughly pleased with my experiences at all 3 of those locations

Nice venue overall. The Aalto's ambassador area was a great area for a wedding ceremony. Food was great during the reception, and Tavern staff was very helpful when we tried to watch the fight. Only complaint would be it is way too hot in the basement reception venue. Every time I've been to an event down there it was too hot. Needs better air conditioning.

Service was very slow. The food in the buffet was just okay there's a decent selection, with some items not worth trying. Muffins and croissants were so hard that we couldn t even eat them. I d say save your money and eat at home or someplace else.

Rooms were dated. Pool was down for a bit for cleaning at 9 am on Saturday morning. Did get a discount for pool inconvenience. Won't let delivery services up to the room, have to meet them downstairs (pain with kids having to bring them down stairs for delivery service ).

It's located on the Pembina Highway which is a major route and has uninterrupted transit service. The staff is really good. Rooms are well furnished and have all amenities. Food is not bad but can be improved. This hotel also has a family pool and a pool table.

Came in to the hotel to Do a pickup for work, and was very pleased with how helpful the staff was. The girl working the front desk was very pleasant, and willing to help. Would definitely go back for work, or even on my own

I've had a fondness for this place since I had my 12th birthday here (many years ago now). It was a fantastic time bringing a bunch of my friends to the water slides in the middle of winter. I would still highly recommended for that. They've got themed rooms for children which are really fun, and I gather they have some adult ones as well (presumably not with the super cool built-in bunk beds). As an adult I'm not quite as enthusiastic about it but I still enjoy going there for dinner or the dinner theater now and then. Aaltos has a nice soup, salad and dessert bar. You can also add the hot food Buffet. It's nothing spectacular but it's comfort food and fairly cheap, the alcohol menu on that side is very limited though. They also have Tavern United at this location which is typical pub fare and wider bar menu. And celebrations dinner theater has set shows with 3-course meals. There is also a VLT Lounge. My only major frustration here is that all of these various venues only have one shared bathroom for guests (unless you also booked a room). Last time I was there the washroom was closed for cleaning and none of the staff had any idea where another bathroom that anyone could use might be. I'm sure you can imagine how that might be problematic while people were waiting for the bathroom to open again.

I stay at the Fort Garry location most times that I'm in the city. Brought the family this time, and everything was great as usual. My daughter loved the pool. The only problem was trying to drag her out of it! Very pleased. Room was great and the staff were all friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back.

Had breakfast at Altos and the service was terrible. Not enough staff and took over an hour to receive our food. When it came it was cold and had mistakes. Family who was staying at the hotel had a beautiful suite and the pool is lovely. So good place to stay but skip the breakfast.

I like staying here. My kids have a lot of fun in the pool, although there should be somebody at the top of the slide making sure the kids don't run over the other kids that go down the slide.couse some parents do not watch their kids they let them go wild.
Good food, great selection on the menu. The buffet has lots to pick from and great food.

Stayed over the Christmas holidays with my children, as a treat and to visit family in the city; looking forward to the pool and breakfast/lunch/dinner. Checked in and hours later found out that pool was closed to to electrical problems and were told that management could not contact anyone to fix issue because no one was available over the holidays.

Go to the restaurant for dinner and find out it is closed due to the Christmas buffet happening the next evening. Asked about getting breakfast in the morning and no, kitchen closed and no servers scheduled to work.

We were not informed about these issues while we were checking in. Whole weekend was frigid and most restaurants closed so running out with my kids to eat anywhere was very inconvenient.

"Management" over the days that we were there were clueless.

Will not stay here again.

The price was surprisingly great, check in was efficient/prompt. Asked for cots and they were delivered within minutes, same with extra pillows. The pool area was nice. Everyone enjoyed themselves. No loud noises while trying to sleep as well. Loved that the pool was open until 11pm and opened at 8am.

We always like staying at this facility just for location & the layout. I was disappointed the previous stay here & was extremely disappointed this stay. The "hottub" was anything but hot, signage clearly stated "No one 12 & under in the hottub". There were at least 2 that were 12 & under, mentioned this to the pool attendant & he basically said don't worry about it.
We will not be staying at Canad Inn again. Your standards have definitely dropped. Goodbye!!

Large hotel with pool, water slide, Casino, bar, resteraunt and meeting rooms.
The rooms are ok but it is really starting to show its age. I have attended family Christmas parties there for years and the catering is really been going down hill the past few years. The food was noticable worse and it was a huge effort to find a waiter to order a drink. Also the wait for food at breakfast was very long both days that I was there. They do have a buffet until a certain time in the morning but it ends fairly early.

The suite rooms have been kept up to date, are quite and inaccessible to other hotel guests the others are tired and loud. So they are worth the extra money

Loew's was having its new associates training there that weekend and it is best summarized by saying that it is exactly that type of place

The motel is comfortable as long as you can sleep in a room with no outside window, and if you want to stay here and get an outside window, ask for it when you book your room because it seems that a window is not a given part of all the rooms! It seems to be a perk!

Food was overpriced for the quality. Seafood buffet had too much breaded foods and crab was extremely salty. Cutlery was greasy. Booths are impractical seating choices for guests with physical limitations and for groups at a buffet.

Sat three tables from front desk. Three staff persons including the manager standing talking st ftont desk. Waited 45 minutes then went snd asked for service. We were only kneed there. FiRE them all! Very nice room, however lots of noise coming off the hallway. Wifi is spotty at best when operational. Courtyard off Aaltos is a welcome surprise. Would likely stay again just perhaps a different room/area of the hotel. Parking space was also a challenge as it was opening weekend at Celebrations drawing additional traffic to the hotel.

On the second floor, kids stomping around the hallway really travels. Usually not a big deal unless you have some rude neighbors like we did. I'm not holding that against the hotel though. Really nice pool area, I love the walls - hand painted scenes all around. Oddly, the front door doesn't have an opener, so if you're loading/unloading alone you have to awkwardly open the door and try to pull the luggage cart through both sets of doors. There's a restaurant on site, I didn't try it.
