Camping "Les Almadies" Review

Too bad our requests are not followed by applications effect from the first day we asked for a curtain that was missing on the door to hide the day without result after 3 requests. Mobile home not very clean.
Correct animations for children.

Very friendly welcome, location on top of each other whether it is a chalet or a tent ... Average sanitary facilities ... Impossible to regulate the temperature of the showers. Very average toilets (old and limited security). Top restaurant !!! Dogs allowed, perfect, even had the right to a small gift for our loulou ... swimming pool very good for the children. In this health crisis we have found that a bit limited. Have a good season for the team.

Totally bad !!!!!!! What to start with ?
First of all, the photos on the site do not correspond to reality !!! The mobile homes are for the most part (if not all), dirty and poorly maintained! There have been a huge number of complaints about the dirt and condition of these!

Then, the pools are not the same as in the photos !!! 2 small unfortunate swimming pools for hundreds of people!
Must say that the indoor pool was much better but just as small!

The entertainment leaves much to be desired !!!!
Poor organisation !!!
There is nothing for the children, except a very small playground containing 4 rides !!!!!

Finally, the little shop on the campsite is super expensive, and there is nothing nearby for people without a car !!!! The "only" super U is more than 2km away (by taxi, it takes 16 one way and 16 return). Otherwise, you have to think about hitchhiking.

For me, it's NEVER AGAIN!
It should be noted that when I arrived, I was so surprised by the accommodation that I asked if there had not been a mistake, but no !!! The only answer was that everything was already taken, unless I wanted to be subclassed !!! Because we were 5 people.
We got home earlier than expected, unfortunately.

Very good stay at this campsite. We were at 65 and had calm down. Close to the swimming pool and the amenities of the campsite.

When we arrived we had to endure the queue for the distribution of mobile homes. it's not a problem in itself, but placing arbors when the rain comes would be a good idea ....

The mobile home was quite clean. And the utensils provided were clean too.

The campsite has two swimming pools. one outside and one inside, the last one is supposedly heated, I didn't get that impression, but it's not very annoying. There are three slides that are sure to please the whole family.

The catering is very good and well supplied. The price of the card is fairly standard.

The staff are very welcoming and warm.

Regarding the activities, I noticed that there were many, but I did not participate. There is a horse breeder who comes on Mondays for the children.

Two play areas are also dedicated to them.



The campsite is not very far from the beach by car and is well served by the nearby super U. A free shuttle is available to go to La Tranche.

It would be nice to maintain the toilets that are dirty and put toilet paper it would be nice to bloom the camping and to remove the thistles and dandelion otherwise personal smiling and when there is a problem it is quickly settle

Awful campsite !!! Does not deserve 4 stars! Being a regular in mobile home rentals, I am terribly disappointed. I do not recommend it to anyone and even less in the middle of the summer. The pool is not up to standard (broken tiles, rust stains everywhere, cloudy water): my daughter opened her foot on the 1st day and given the color of the water we never set foot there again. In addition, heated swimming pool is a sight of the mind.
As for the mobile home (relax 3 bedrooms) the only positive point was the cleanliness. There is no insulation (sound and heat) at night it was very cold and the poor and only heating did not heat the children's rooms. And don't think about napping your children because the heat is stifling during the day. As for noise, let's not talk about it, we had the impression of living with the neighbors (chair noise, discussions) without the neighbors being very noisy people like we sometimes meet in campsites. An ideal 4 * to discover the Tranche-Sur-Mer and its beautiful beaches. We had a nice week with the family at the end of June. Nice campsite where we spent a superb ten with my two children to enjoy the Vendean beauty, its greenery and its islands. We really liked this diversity of super well preserved environments. We had brought our bikes, so we had fun, strolling along the coast, and even more inland. To summarize a very pleasant stay, that the quality of the campsite has made even better. We have just returned from two weeks in this camp site in a furnished tent. The children had a great time. The photos of the swimming pool site are much prettier than they really are. The monitoring of swimming is difficult or even inefficient because of many people.
Campsite not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Lots of proximity to neighbors. Quite noisy campsite until late at night.
For the dishes, two out of three sinks worked, one of which had no pressure or hot water. For the laundry, no washing machine in all the bathrooms and only one functional laundry tub.
Lack of training for maintenance staff who leave toilets soggy.
La Tranche sur mer is a very pretty town, but we will not be returning to this campsite even with a discount offer.
Lots of supplement to access the activities.
A small market available every other day, I would have liked to find local produce and food. I would also have liked the animation team and others to be more present in the campsite for more conviviality and to make you want to participate in the animations ... (which did not have us too much).

We have just returned from a week spent at the campsite booked with Aquatic Holidays. The aquatics vacation staff are very rude. On our arrival a cold welcome, no hello. Younger staff should be put in.

The mobile homes are very correct, functional (outdoor table with parasol, large refrigerator) but not the best equipped by default (no oven, while a combined microwave + oven would save space).
The animation team in the summer of 2016 was very good. Kind, helpful, pleasant, smiling. Lots of entertainment for the kids club. The kids loved it.
The welcome at the restaurant was cordial and helpful.
Perhaps there is not enough washing machine given the size of the campsite. The technical team is rather reactive in resolving incidents of all kinds.
We were away from the evening entertainment so we found the stay rather quiet.

Hello, I was at the Almadies campsite this summer, frankly, it's zero at home people are rude. At the bar the young girls tell you not even good evening no smile. The entertainment sucks every evening the music stops at 11:30 pm the same macarena music every day. At the pool the children have pooped in the same they are changed the water !!! Not worth a 4 star

I was the Owner of my mobile home for 17 years, and last November I had to sell my property for a pittance because Tohapi asked me for 800 more for the rental of my plot, I said that I could not pay such an increase in 1 year, the answer is like that madam you pay or you leave before the end of the year.
So I had no choice but to give up my property and end my 17 years of family vacation ... I've never been treated this way in my life
