First of all: We paid the equivalent of 63.00 per day in advance for our parking space 501 (privet Duinspot) including booking fee and tourist tax. Summer, high season, with full occupancy.

Well, I also understood the principle of supply and demand, and if you want to camp on such a great pitch in the middle of a nature reserve with excellent connections, you have to pay this price .....

However, I can also expect clean sanitary facilities at this price level. Nothing !!!

The place currently has a corona policy. Unfortunately, this does not really work with full occupancy. Everyone does what they want and there is no one who would do it.
The reception is staffed with a strong and friendly staff, the supermarket is fairly sorted, the restaurant has a lot of staff and a high price-performance level, the animation team seems to consist of 6-10 people ... but in one week I didn't see any cleaning staff.
The distances are mostly quite long, sanitary facilities or washing up and disposing of waste are done by bike.

The playground is a dream for the kids.
Footpaths to the beach are more difficult than you think.

Conclusion: The pitches in the privet area are uniquely beautiful and can hardly be found in this form anywhere else. However, I found the service and especially the unacceptable condition of the sanitary facilities to be an imposition at this high price level. Not recommended in summer with full occupancy!

We will not be back and next year someone else will definitely pay this proud price for the campsite with the special dune flair between Kenemer Duinland and Zandvoort.
