The lady who was doing the "maintenance" of the showers saw us arriving and closing part of the showers when we wanted to take one. There was no hot water. - The maintenance of the exterior is not done regularly. - The "Resto": the food is good. But the service leaves much to be desired. We waited half of the meal to have mayonnaise (after several requests) - The price of the night is not at all up to the services.

I passed by while walking into the dune du Pyla. And when coming back toke a shower and drunk some water, the camping looked fine, the encore to is top gorgeous because is the dune du pyla

Dilapidated and unwelcoming camping In the camping market, I advise you this one totally ... and yet we are not the kind difficult. We ended up in one of the chalets at the end of April, the weather was not there, we unfortunately could not warm up at night, and especially at night, because this type of rental has only one radiator for three rooms and a central room .. cold and humidity accompanied us all night from where insomnia to warm the children ... the day after having explained to the reception have answered us that yes, the rented cottages were outdated and they could not be guilty of the weather ...... we do not even talk about dirty toilets and hair in the shower ....... the only advantage is to have access at the dune. In short, we come out really disappointed about standing, and when we asked for a commercial gesture, we laughed in the face, even telling them that we will not do advertising, saying they do not care about the bad notice ...... Very happy with my stay there, I arrived after 800km of road after the closure of the reception and I was very well received, accompanied by two children of 8.9 years I was able to put the mini club that makes a great job, big big up has emitted !! The camping is quiet activities are very simpa in the evening and the restaurant service is good, all the staff is really great !! For the negative I will say that some showers lack of pressure but nothing too naughty and the grocery store had (in my passage) little choice of meat for grilling. Thanks to all the team of the blue waters you are awesome !!
The location of the campsite is great. You only have to climb over the dune to get to the sea, but there you can enjoy a great view. The campsite itself, however, should invest in a cleaner for the sanitary facilities instead of the noisy entertainers.
Friendly. User-friendly. I can not say more because I spend only 1 night or two from time to time for work. Always less expensive and more pleasant than a hotel.
For the most famous campsite in France, we were pleasantly disappointed. Cold showers, dirty toilets (no washing in 24 hours), dead leaves in the showers the day before were still present when we left. Very serious in these times of Covid we even wonder if we did not nab it here. Exterior maintenance leaving something to be desired, I think the managers are resting on their achievements because they know that the world will continue to arrive, so they make no effort. We would surely have done better to go to one of the surrounding campsites. Those who stop in front of the sign just to take pictures are absolutely right, better not to know what is behind the sign
Great campsite! I have been going there every 2 years for a long time. I find the entertainment really good, the campsite team is very friendly. Lots of activities organized for all ages. The evening going up on the dune to see the sunset is very impressive. The managers of the supermarket are also very friendly. By cons it is a little bit expensive. This campsite is really nice! (that's why we go back there all the time)

Friendly reception staff (apart from the very unpleasant grocery store man), good geographic location. On the other hand, the campsite would need a bit of refreshment, chalets quite old and dirty, very little equipment inside ... The chalets are really too close to each other.
Is a very good camping. There are some shady places, I warn schoneinmal to choose a place at the very front of the dune, as it can be very sandy there and you get stuck quickly, but the staff is prepared for it. The campers are much bidding, there is a restaurant, evening program (which is unfortunately a bit long and very loud), as well as a ladder which leads directly to the dune. Basically we were completely satisfied.

What a desappointment! Abandoned campsite. 50cm herbs in front of the mobile home, uncut branches around the mobile home that rub all night. Swimming pool not cleaned for 1 year, work in the campsite from 7:30 am to 11:00 pm. If we hadn't paid in advance, we would have run away.

The setting of the campsite is magnificent !! A very good lodge tent !! We had the visit of wild boars and squirrels. The negative points: cold reception, toilets to review and non-existent cleanliness. It's a shame with such a magnificent site !!!! Some renovations would have to be done again !!! Passage for 1 night 20 without electricity with a van for 2 people. We spent a quiet night at the foot of the dune pyla. Sanitary clean and pleasant welcome however the camping itself is old.

The sanitary facilities, no hygiene, nothing available (hand soap, raclette ...) Showers blocked, stagnant water ... a horror to be avoided. The location without more .. well below our expectations. We will not come back.
Really disappointed by this campsite. We were in tent couple of 29 years old. Too noisy (especially in the evening). Sanitary really too dirty. 1 trash per block ?? (Including showers, WC, crockery and burandry). No pressure in most showers. And no possibility to adjust the temperature in some blocks. Pool unsupervised ... Too bad for a ***. So twice people (no bracelet) came to bathe .. Dressed !! In the middle of the afternoon. Mobile homes and cottages lack youth and maintenance. Just to see the outside .. We will not come back it's certain. We booked for 1 week. We left 2 days earlier so it was impossible to enjoy our vacation fully.
The only positive point of the campsite is the direct access to the dune du pyla, magnificent landscape. The campsite being popular, I spent a week at the end of the season and was very disappointed. Disappointed with the hygiene of the mobile homes, the bedding to be reviewed ... the campsite seems abandoned.

Super campsite customer service at the top, the people of the campsite are really available to customers. some areas for improvement in our opinion: hot water in some showers during crowds, a soap dispenser box in the showers and toilets, the hot water taps on the dishes are reversed we understood the trick. the day before departure! Where to start ? Everything is to be reviewed. Unhealthy sanitary facilities, unfriendly and incompetent staff, a gloomy atmosphere, pitches that leave something to be desired, we walk one on top of the other, sports equipment left abandoned, no access to the beach, a restaurant that only serves junk food.
Hello we spent 2 WEEK super nice and the campsite we were in a mobihome on our arrival just disappointed because we had plenty of sand in the rooms and the cleanliness was not presented to our departure we cleaned everything thoroughly and just to say the staff should pay more attention and look because we had the crowded shower full of hair so other people's hair and saw how we made everything clean I understand why we got it dirty because lack of look in 2 min the inventory was finished after it is just to prevent that it could be better monitored, and lack of politeness 'hello' and joy of life when we met the staff of the campsite just this little negative point that we disappointed but otherwise we enjoyed your campsite and the surrounding pretty beaches around the dune and shops too and the restoration of the campsite and beautiful memories bought, the reception always at our disposal and the joy live.
We stayed 2 nights in a mobile home in the campsite de la Dune. We enjoyed the proximity and the view of the dune. The mobile home is outdated and needs a good refresh but for 2 nights it was enough. Noisy camping even late at night. We should put a curfew and ask people not to make noises after 23h because of the proximity of the sites we had the impression to have the neighbors in our mobile home and having a toddler that n is not tolerable.

We booked from Saturday May 25 to Saturday June 1 (we arrived on Sunday morning due to an unexpected event). Overall we are satisfied, we had a good family holiday. All the staff (grocer, reception, bar, snack, technical agents) is smiling and friendly it's nice. The grocery store where you can buy souvenirs of the pool, the dune or the film is well priced. The bike rental at the top, no good advice, we paid 45th at 5c is very reasonable. The snack very well, we did not try the restaurant. The campsite itself is human-sized and I prefer. We had the mobile home at the foot of the dune with a magnificent view, the top. The campsite is clean but for me it deserves a good painting especially on some wooden mobile homes that have aged badly, without terrace, the mini club is outdated. We are out of season so it did not work but good. Pool heated to 23 degrees and clean, it's nickel. J removes 1 star because the mobile home was not prepared for our arrival. Very dirty, cobwebs under the bench, cupboards full of fat with drips, dust on all shelves and sink full of limestone, sheep under the beds. Too bad not to pay more attention to that. It is not difficult to solve the problem. I hope that my remark will be constructive. State of play done in 2 min too fast
At the foot of the dune Pilat, a nice welcome and a nice pool but a huge problem regarding the hygiene and aging of the bungalow: a dish where we find traces of previous meals, mattresses so fine that there are slats, and not sheets but a kind of paper (or similar) to protect the mattress and pillows ... with a cover that scrapes .. and then a lot of other little things but this to have improved for a 3-star campsite. Really bad because the potential is there. Otherwise, think of the toilet paper because just arrived and having forgotten, the host did not want to help us out and sent us to the supermarket where of course the roller costs a fortune ahah. A small welcome roll would be welcome ....
Finding friends arrived there for the night, we ate calzone and marguerita very good .. the dough of the pizza as it should and with small salad: very good! Otherwise it's a camp-site closing at the end of the month but with a lot of people
We arrived on a car + tent site We have no room for the car that was sleeping in the middle of the aisle. But since we were at the end of the way, it was normal .. with an additional charge of 20 for that.
Then we went around the campsite .. a sanitary next door which was closed and urine smells coming out ..
Then a site served as a recycling center.
Search for toilets that were not clean.
Hygiene to review. No SHA ..
We only come back to the campsite to sleep but after seeing everything we want .. we did not flee the campsite we left two days rather for fear of the deplorable hygienic condition ..
We paid from the 20th to the 24th, leaving on the 22nd

We were in a mobile home with everything correct and clean. That day there was no animation, it has a super nice and a pool that we did not try. The pizzas were good looking and well priced. The best part is that it is at the foot of the dune, one last!
