Camping with good potential, too bad there is a lack of maintenance.

What a shame to be in such a beautiful place and to neglect this campsite so much.
No maintenance of green spaces, dilapidated sanitary facilities, we really have the impression that it is neglected.

People criticize the sanitary facilities, but do nothing to keep them clean!

We stood here for two days and were basically very satisfied. The place is very nice and, above all, reasonably quiet so that you have the opportunity to enjoy the dune at all. In contrast to all the other places nearby, the front desk is staffed by a very friendly and obliging lady, who also speaks four languages; Top! We were without electricity (we do not need) in the sand about 8 meters from the dune away. Fantastic is that when leaving the camper in the morning directly fine sand under your feet. The individual pitches are also cut so that you do not look his neighbor on the table, the hedges are well-opaque. Water holes are distributed every 10m across the square, very positive. Now, however, to the sanitary facilities: Why is there no toilet paper or toilet seat? Does it have to be that you have to cuddle with the shower to be under water?
All in all, I would give a 4.5, with the sanitary facilities there is a real deduction - since we do not really need it, for us OK.

Lack of cleanliness in the sanitary block n '3 and the interior roads of the campsite are a little abandoned. The reception is very nice.

We had to clean before settling. The dishes were dirty and the floor full of sand. We left 1 night earlier, booked for 5 nights, lost 200 euros, had better campsites next door and cheaper ... Plus there was no animation at night.
Just take a picture of the entrance of the campsite in tribute to the film, go your way.

The burning shower? Unwashed toilets in the morning? And also it is better not want to rest after midday if your location is close to the pool because the music is very (too) strong. Also for the evening if you are close to the karaoke place or other activity that ends late. So yes the place is beautiful with access to the dune but camping in is not so terrible. They rely too much on their notoriety

Pleasant welcome. Nice location. Big negative point sanitary hygiene. Lacks the familiar contact of camping and the atmosphere. A big highlight is the restaurant with 2 terraces and an indoor room (the rear terrace is superb, you don't have the impression of being at the campsite), professional and very pleasant staff. And a very good meal.

We were in a great mobile home at the foot of the dune, we stayed there for 4 days, quiet location and new mobile home, very clean when we arrived.
Only downside> we have a sedan car and therefore we could not park in front properly because of the too soft sand ...
Too bad there is no carpet so as not to sink in with the car ... but we are not complaining we had a magnificent view!

The people who complain you make me laugh it is a campsite not a 4 star hotel nor a simple hotel yes animals are allowed because for people who love animals they are part of our family when in the sanitary people confuse dirt and sand. Camping not very well maintained !! State of the home limits.

Aside from the location that offers direct access to the Pilat Dune, this place is a shame. The toilets are in a deplorable state, the toilets are next to the showers, it smells like piss everywhere, not to mention the insects (flies and cafars stuck to the walls of the shower) a swimming pool that screams mycosis, sanitary towels lying around. The horror! After three films, the ad that followed and the night for two to 40 eur for two, the minimum would be to renovate and clean the bathroom several times a day.

Friendly welcome except maybe at the pizzeria where it's quite limited but nothing dramatic.
Location good but papers and others left by people before ... not too keen to clean up after 8 hours of driving while it would take 10 minutes for an employee to check the land before resubmitting it.
We were not told at the reception that the waste had to be sorted, we learned this by bringing our first unsorted trash there. Sanitary block although there is even a bathtub space for infants but the door is very low so everyone can watch ...

We arrived after the Basque country. For the same money, everything is much worse. Sanitary dirty. The shower stops pouring instantly (!) As you release the button, the hot water is weak. Weifai is not there, if that. We found a bunch of napkins on the site and cleaned ourselves. In general, a sloppy and dirty camp.

Correct camping. We were in a very nice and very pretty chalet. It's a shame it is not air conditioned. The proposed activities lack a bit of organization. The campsite snack restaurant is not that great. There is no direct access to the beach, unless you go through the Dune du Pilat.

The structures are 1 a bit old but the campsite is quiet, well located and the staff are super friendly and very accommodating.
Small nice bar the sanitary facilities are clean.
A good deal of rejuvenation of the structures would be welcome.

Love climbing the dune! Amazing views at the top you must try it.

This place is all about the Dune du Pilat that dominates the skyline above the Camping site. The campsite has direct access to the dune via a ladder which is well secured. Facilities are good in season with a nice swimming pool, shop and decent restaurant/bar. Although we found much better restaurants nearby. The accommodation is nice but very difficult to keep sand out of and this leads to my major gripe which is the fact that you do your own cleaning and have to pay a refundable deposit to ensure you do it. Another gripe is that we found the site expensive to vamp or for accommodation but then again with the dune on your doorstep no wonder.

Campsites no hygiene. The toilets are not disinfect at all, just the scraped sand. True prison after midnight vigilantes order you to go to bed. At 51 I find it horrible not being able to quietly watch in a campsite and yet I have done a lot. This is the first time I see this as true prison guards. Campsites to avoid just stop for photos at the entrance.

The staff is very friendly, unfortunately the maintenance of the campsite is really awful (the toilets are very dirty, the showers are cold or lack of pressure) but also the soil is dirty. Then, in the bathroom, there is a garbage bin missing with paper ...
On the other hand, there is a beautiful view of the Dune du Pilat, the swimming pool is satisfactory as well as the animations and the grocery store.

On vacation for 2 weeks we made several campsites, this one needs a good cleaning and maintenance, behind our site were 3 dilapidated deckchairs, good to throw but stacked. Unprofessional and rude restaurant service staff.

We arrived for a week's stay in a mobile home, upon our arrival the reception was poor, no room in the pitch because there was sand and a table in the middle, so there was already a problem leaving the car.
Three stakes as a staircase to get into the mobile home, as soon as the stakes are torn under the mobile home to hold the structure!
In addition, the dishes on the table were pitiful, dirt and more food on the plates.
We decide to take a tour of the campsite anyway, old tractors ruin the pitches, abandoned cabins with clothes on the roof and on the ground, a sign with direct beach access written on it, of course a first dune to go up but at the top you have to go down and also go up another to be able to find the beach, I let you imagine that doing this every day is not possible.
We stayed 3 hours in this campsite which seems to be on top.
Do not venture there, you will be disappointed.

My favorite campsite !!! Already, I find it superb. These small steep paths, the pines and of course, the Dune, a marvel of sand ... The campsite is on a human scale, the atmosphere is very good. Every year, there is change, improvements.
If you want something sophisticated, go your way! The campsite has remained in the camper spirit, the services are simple but it has everything you need for a good holiday. And that's how we like it!
Negative point, it is expensive.
Tight budget this year, I'm 20 km away, in a factory campsite but 300 euros cheaper ... But I'm spending it, climbing my Dune and tasting the great cocktails! Blue flood, swimming pool and the Patrick !!!

Very pleasant stay. Our location is at the foot of the Dune, it was great! There was a problem with hot water at the central sanitary facilities, other sanitary facilities were used without concern. The pool is nice, as is the site in general. We will come back!

Run away from noisy dirty rented a week left after three nights old mobile home is poorly equipped. Catastrophic restoration. Bad housing situation facing the garbage cans and comes and goes. The only positive point was the very kind receptionist.

We had a good week ... despite the bad weather: / the campsite was not as we saw it but ambiance & reception we could not have better I think .. only hic the showers: / we had the shower disabled but the key has been lost before our arrival so the door does not lock & everyone used it .. otherwise nothing to say people, the hosts all impeccable .. Stay of 3 days to rest because trip by bicycle and although regrets !!! Could not rest group of young alcoholics from morning to night. Sanitary one word Disgraceful !! We paid full rate a location without electricity and without a vehicle, this campsite does not deserve 3 stars.

I think this is the worst campsite on the coast no access to the beach showers and toilets always clogged with 1 hour wait and people unpleasant, a very very limited atmosphere, incompetent barman, cocktails at 7 euros with that of syrup.
This campsite keeps you famous and nothing else.
