Easy to make reservations, good operating hours, good prices, big & clean facility and friendly staff. I also like how I can view my dog via app.

Friendliest staff- feel comfortable leaving my pup all day!

They are a must!...I have only ever used camp bow wow charlotte metro for doggie daycare and usually boarded my dog with his trainer who lives an hr south of charlotte. HOWEVER, due to unforeseen circumstances when my ac went out and couldn t be fixed for 5 days Camp Bow wow charlotte metro was there to assist me since it was too dang hot in the house for a 90 lb black lab. If Jake (manager) kaylin (team leader) and Haley ever decide to leave I m not sure what Chief and I will do. Not only those three but everyone on staff treats me with respect and give me honest feedback about how Chief did at daycare. I don t trust people easily with Chief but these three have made it so easy since day one. Highly highly recommend!! Now that my team at Camp Bow Wow Charlotte metro has taken such good care of Chief while I had to board him Chief is going to stay with them again in September! Don t think twice sign up for a consultation see how your dog does at camp and you won t regret it!

Camp Bow Wow Metro has changed my dog's life and so many wonderful ways! She was frightened of everyone and everything, and within one month my dog Dori was a happier more trusting well-adjusted dog.

The staff truly cares about the animals and I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. My little dog went from being a frightened rescue straight out of the pound to being a well-adjusted well-rounded happy dog who even gets to assist on an occasional interview.

The only place I board my dog at now! I used to go to another facility and it seemed like my dog would always get sick, which is why I switched. I m so glad I did! My dog never has any issues now, and I always feel confident and comfortable leaving him with the staff here. Very professional, organized, and gives me the peace of mind I need when I m away from my little guy. Love Camp Bow Wow!

I brought Duke to Camp Bow Wow and I felt good about leaving my dog. I knew that I could view him while he was there. I appreciate knowing the details of what Duke did while being there and his eating habits.

I would have normally said I love this location, because we have used it for so long. However lately they service has gone down and the people have become very rude at times. I asked to speak to a manager left several messages and no one ever returned my call. I think that my relationship with Camp Bow Wow is now over.

This place was highly recommended by a reputable source so I took my furbaby there for 2.5 days when I had to leave town and couldn't take her along.
Staff provides video monitoring of play time but the video quality is really poor and the camera is positioned so far away from the play area that I couldn't make out a lot that happened. I did notice though, that a couple of dogs used her like a riding toy. So, either she had a great time or something else was going on since my pup came back with a bite mark on her chest, an eye infection, and a bout of vomiting and diarrhea. The Vet bill came to $200 for antibiotic eye drops, an IV and anti-nausea meds. Sweet girl is on the mend.

We absolutely love bringing our dogs here! We've been coming here for 1-2 years now. They have very convenient 7a-7p hours Mon-Sat. There are also two options for pick up/drop off on Sundays.

Great facility, staff and overall experience! My pup is so excited to go back every morning

My dog Daisy had her first interview at the Charlotte Metro location and she had an absolute blast! Since then she's been attending day care at the Fort Mill location. Both locations have friendly, attentive, and caring staff. I love that I can check in on her using the app. I love Camp Bow Wow. My boyfriend and I are so excited to start letting our other dog attend day camp and sign them up for training. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our fur babies!

STAY AWAY!

I've been using Camp Bow Wow for almost a year. It started out okay. Staff has always been friendly and welcoming. The facilities are okay, not the best. However, over the last couple of months my dog has had two incidents that caused major concern.

I got a frantic call in the middle of the day, they are taking my dog to the Emergency room because another dog bit him. The cameras proved my dog was not at fault. He had to get stitches and couldnt play for over a week till he healed.

I thought that this was just a one off incident. I kept him home for about a month. Took him to another daycare and never had a problem. After about a month, I took him back to CBW for another try and a few weeks later another dog bit him. NEVER again will I take my dog to CBW and I'd recommend you stay away as well.

They are not watching the dogs at play and caring for them as they should. I was completely disappointed in there level of attention.

STAY AWAY!

My dog spent a week at Camp Bow Wow and had a great time. My kids were happy we could check on him through the web cams. I would highly recommend this place for their exceptional customer service. My dog was exhausted for days after returning home from playing so much.

I have two very energetic pups. They love going here and being able to run and socialize. They get so excited every time we pull into the parking lot. By the time I get them back, they are tired and ready for a nap. Camp is such a good escape for them!!

We recently switched to Camp Bow Wow and couldn't be happier! Our dog has so much fun there and is very well taken care of. Love the cameras too. Thank you!

I've been taking my dog, Cassie, to Camp Bow Wow at the Charlotte Metro location for over a year now. She's always excited when we pull up to the building. I usually leave her for a full day of daycare, and she's always wiped out when she gets home. The staff is great, always friendly. My only complaint is that the webcams on their website don't work anymore - for over a few months now. The webcams are great. When Cassie first started here, I loved checking in on her throughout the day. That tapered off over time, since I felt more secure about her staying at Camp Bow Wow. The cameras do work on the mobile app, but I wish they'd work on the website so I can view it on my work computer. Other than that, if my dog is happy with Camp Bow Wow, than I am happy!

They take great care of my Lilly & they also keep her looking pretty with their grooming.

We've used Camp Bow Wow for home care and daycare and we love both services. They are VERY dependable and that is important with my families busy schedule. I wouldn't trust my fur babies with anyone else.

Mocha (Doberman) loves Camp Bow Bow. Everytime we go outside she runs to the car in hope to go play with her friends. Staff is very helpful and couldn't ask for a better place to send my furry child!

Juniper loves the staff and always has the best time at CBW Charlotte Metro. Doggy day care and her training class have been a GAMECHANGER for us!

The staff was incredibly professional, handled all of my questions and concerns, and took great care of the pup. It was also a great bonus to be able to view my dog via webcam on my smartphone. I thought that was really neat. I have already recommended CBW to friends and family, and will continue to do so. Thanks for a great experience and many more to come!

This location has gone downhill since it s been under new management. Prior to 2020 I would have given it 5 stars. We ve been bringing all 3 of our dogs there since 2017. Jake, the old manager, was always there and took an active interest in the dogs and their parents. Since Jake s been gone, there s been nearly 100% turnover (we don t recognize anyone anymore) and they even ran Kim, their head trainer, off. Jake and Kim were so amazing and the reason we kept taking our dogs there all these years. We haven t even met the new manager and nobody is friendly or even tries to get to know you or or dogs, or engage you in conversation. We need to be able to get to know and completely trust people to feel comfortable leaving our fur babies in their care, so we will likely have to find another place to go.

My dog Pig loves going to Camp Wow Charlotte! I travel quite a bit for work and it is very reassuring to have such a good place to keep Pig over night. The staff if very friendly and detail oriented, they constantly interact with the dogs as well include playing in water. The facility is very clean and spacious and they offer a nice compliment of value added services such as bath, nail trim and ear cleanings.

I love how comfortable the staff made me and my puppy in leaving her all day. I loved that I was able to watch her play on the cameras also, it really made me feel so much better about her day away from home! We purchased a package, I can't wait to take her back!

Behavior Buddies is great! Our dog, Chloe, is in the Level 2 dog training class offered by Camp Bow Wow-Behavios Buddies. She is doing great and our trainer, Hailey, is wonderful. We seached and searched for dog training classes versus in home training. So happy we found Camp Bow Wow and Behavior Buddies!

I like the fact that my boy Oreo can come to Camp Bow Wow and run with other doggies in a very safe and clean atmosphere with friendly and wonderful staff. Although he is very energetic and tries to climb the trees in the backyard to chase the squirrels away, he loves going to Camp Bow Wow best of all. When we turn off Woodlawn onto Chastain, Oreo can barely contain himself. Somehow he knows he is almost to Camp Bow Wow, where he can run and play with other doggies in his size category.

Clean, friendly, and organized doggy daycare! Met the owner - who was kind and great with dogs... She definitely hired a kind and professional staff! Henry LOVES going there and is wiped out when I pick him up at the end of the day. Happy, too!

Camp Bow Wow takes such good care of Fritz. Staff are happy to see him when he comes in the door and he gets excited to be there as well.

Today my 5 year old bulldog was involved in a fight with another dog. Thank goodness no one was hurt. I got a call from Abbie, the trainer (Chastain Location) explaining the situation. She figured out a solution to my dogs behavior and placed the blame of the fight to another dog who had been antagonizing Carter. Her resolution wasn't, "Carter can't come back because he got in a fight but was "in the future when there are too many dogs in the pen, we'll separate him into one with fewer so he's not overwhelmed and he can't be with his sister or doggie friends. He becomes protective and anxious." She shared this info with both the dog who he fought with as well as the one antagonizing Carter. Thank you Abbie!! and everyone who was working today. Thank you!!

The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient and our dog LOVES to go to Camp Bow Wow. He's always excited when we come in the door and is a happy, content pup when he returns home. I love the fact that he gets play time every day he's with you all and he loves the peanut butter Kong.

We came in from out of town and told the staff we would be returning in a Sunday at / pm and they said no problem. When we got there they were closed for several hours and we had to wait to get our dog back. We were very unhappy with how we were mislead. Not using them again.

Love this place . The Camp Director Jake and his staff gave us great service. My wife And I have used several different kennels in several different states through the years for our dogs. This is hands down the best. We highly recommend it for your pets!

My pup and I love camp bow wow! It has a very friendly staff and the best is that I can see my pup through out the day through a live camera. The app is also user friendly. Their services are affordable and their baths are awesome! My pup smelled like blueberries for almost 2 weeks! I can t wait to take him there again!

The employees treat my dog Archie (a beagle) well and recognize him when he comes in! He always leaves a happy camper :) And I love that they have the web cam so I can check on him when I miss him!

My dogs love Camp Bow Wow and enjoy playing all day with their friends. The counselors know them and take good care of them in the yards.

Every time I bring Stella in, it feels like her 2nd home. All the counselors are friendly and remember her. I don't have to worry about her when I drop her off. While the cameras are a nice touch, after the 1st visit, I stopped watching because I know they're taking good care of her!

Our dog loves this place! We went on our first vacation and had her stay here and she had a blast and we had peace of mind getting to watch her play all day. Definitely recommend Camp bow wow.

We left our yellow lab (Davis) at Camp Bow Wow. It was the first time we left him and we were nervous on how he would do since he was a rescue dog. Everyone that works there was so friendly to us and to Davis. We wanted him to get interaction with other dogs and not just be in a cage all day. We liked that we could log on to the webcam and see him every day.

best place for my 4-legged babies! over the last year I have used almost all of the services provided.

The location is always clean and the staff is incredible. If you're reading this you're a dog person too so you know what I mean! My pups know when I turn onto the street and are so excited to spend the day (or more) at Camp Bow Wow. I know that they're not only having a blast (I can see on the cameras) but that they're surrounded by people who love dogs.

They're HomeBuddies is another fantastic service. It is very personal to have someone come into your home and take care of your kiddos. Immediately during the home interview I knew I could trust them. It makes my life so much easier to have someone come give my pups some loving, talk them for a walk and make sure they're feed when I get tied up with other things.

Grooming and training are great too!

My little Sansa loves Camp Bow Wow. As soon as we pull in she no longer cares about me. She is just ready to go in and have a day full of play! And also I do not feel bad when I go out of town leaving her here because I know she is just having loads of fun! If you have not tried taking your pup here you most definitely should! When they get home they are so happy and sleepy! Camp Bow Wow is the best!

My dog loves it here! She is a little skittish of new people, but she goes right back with the camp workers without any hesitation. She always comes home worn out from playing hard with the other dogs! They also have live camera feeds so you can check in on your pup throughout the day!

Love taking my girl to Camp Bow Wow. She gets so excited when we pull into the driveway and the staff is so good with her. They seperate big and little dogs and they get to go outside. Love it!

Hard to find something to complain about here. Different pens to make sure your dog only plays with dogs of appropriate size. They provide webcams where you can watch your dog play. All the workers really seem to love dogs and my pup always comes home tired.

Staff was friendly; seemed concerned and engaged with our dogs.

When I lived in Charlotte, this was my go-to for my husky. Except one incident (for which they took complete responsibility and handled very professionally), the staff were awesome and treated my dog like a queen. On our last day there, they even got emotional saying goodbye to her. Really great place and the fact that have an indoor area (for when the weather is bad out) is a huge bonus. Keep going guys! :)

I took my dog here for a interview and they yelled at her for popping on the floor and pulled her around by the collar for no reason at all. My dog is fully train and comes when called. They tried to tell me that My dog was bad but I watched it all on the video cameras and that's not what I saw.

I always feel that my pups are well taken care of when I bring them here. I also love being able to watch them play via the web cams in the play areas. It gives me extra peace of mind seeing how much fun they are having. The office staff are always very welcoming and take good care of our beloved pups!

They were great! And they showed my Darla so much attention. And when she got tired later in the day they picked up on it and let my girl go take a nap in her own little area away from the other dogs. Definitely using them going forward.

I take my dog here at least once a week....and he always comes home with the biggest smile on his face. The staff is super friendly and you can tell that they take care of the dogs very well.

And always quick in and out which is really nice when I'm in a hurry! I highly recommend them for your dogs care.

I have been a lover of Camp Bow Wow for a long time. I was flying out of Charlotte Airport and had to drop my dog off for a week. The metro location is 15 minutes from the airport, which is very convenient. Furthermore, the camp staff was incredible to my dog! She had a great time and had a ton of activity (I know because she slept for a few days after!). I would highly recommend this location to any dog lover out there!

My dog loves it here! She always come home slobbery but exhausted from playing all day. Used this place for daycare and boarding while on vacation, and I have no complaints. My dog always seems safe, happy, and well-cared for while she is here.

My English Golden Retriever, Hayden and my Flat Coat Retriever, Bella, have been going to Camp every week since January and just LOVE it!!! I have tried another camp in town and Hayden refused to get out of the car when we arrived. As soon as I turn onto Chastain Ave both Hayden and Bella start to get EXTREMELY excited and can't wait to get out of the car and in the building to play with their Camp Bow Wow buddies! So thankful the staffs love my guys almost as much as I do! Thanks Camp Bow Wow!

Great experience with Bow Wow. Murphy loved it. I was a little nervous but he really enjoyed his day. The staff is very professional and great with animals.

Camp Bow Wow is clean, staff is friendly, they have flexible hours for drop off and pick up and flexible feeding for the dogs. I like that I can bring my dog s bed with her, which not all places allow. My dog always seems happy to be there!!!

Doggy day care and boarding that offers a smaller "intimate" atmosphere. The staff is connected with the community and local animal welfare agencys. The employees are kind and dedicated to the animals in their care.

Fantastic stay for my two pups. They were energized, well cared for and eagerly ran into the facility to hang out with the staff and other dogs. The videos of them in action during the day was cute and comforting too! I was able to really enjoy my vacation knowing they were safe, having fun and in capable hands.

My dog and I both LOVE Camp Bow Wow!! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They always greet my dog enthusiasticly and make us feel like he is their favorite camper. As a puppy, my dog was diagnosed with congenital kidney disease, and they were very willing to accommodate any special needs he had (luckily he can lead a pretty normal life). My dog always perks up when we pull up to camp, and comes home happy and tired! He has the best day, and I get a break!

We came in after meeting some off the staff at a community event. We greeted immediately and all our questions were answered without hesitation. Needless to say our pup will be boarded her during the holidays. She loved it and we have no worries!

Our two black labs go to Camp Bow Wow nearly every day. They start dancing at home as soon as they see their leashes and we say "Let's go to Camp Bow Wow!" Once we reach the front door, they scamper back to the play yards while I go off to work. I like being able to see them on the web-cams all day (except for when they take their naps on the days when we request a quiet time). The most fun for me is when I spot them playing in the outdoor pools; since they are water dogs, they really love that part of Camp, and I love seeing them enjoying themselves! I also love how the whole staff really understands the mind of a dog and treats them as family. When I pick them up, they are happy and tired, pretty much like I am at the end of the day, but the difference is that they've played with scores of their new friends!

We have been going to Camp Bow Wow Charlotte Metro for over 2 years now after moving to Charlotte. We used to absolutely LOVE the metro location and knew our dogs were in good hands. We travel a lot for work so knowing our dogs are safe and taken care of is extremely important to us.

As of recently the service has gone dramatically down hill to the point that we will no longer be bringing our dogs to this location (we will be going to the Fort Mill location). It is an absolute shame as I know they love playing with their friends there.

We brought them for memorial day weekend and I had some questions around our charges. I called and the individual on the phone could not answer my questions and was told I was charged a different amount then what was withdrawn from my bank account. Also, I was charged a deposit when I booked since it was a holiday weekend which was not applied to my total (watch out for this!). I then asked their pricing for 2 dogs overnight and I asked if the two dog discount was applied since they usually stay in the same cabin. She then asked "did they stay in the same cabin" to which i had to laugh. How am I supposed to know that? I wasn't there..that should be something you know as they were in your daycare's care! This isn't even the part that made me that mad...

The worst was that when we picked our dogs up, our white boxer's butt and legs were totally covered in pee. We could obviously see it since she's white and her whole back side was yellow. I understand accidents happen but come on. My dogs are like my children and to pick them up and have them covered in urine is absolutely disgusting. I would have even paid for the bath if that was why they didn't wash her off.

Unfortunately I don't feel comfortable leaving our very loved dogs in the care of the new employees at metro as I don't trust they will be treated the way we have come to expect. Wish the results were different but this is the reality.

We love this place! Sugar Lump, goes to school here (the day camp) often. We also board him here when we take extended trips.

When we pick Sugar Lump up, from Camp Bow Wow Charlotte Metro, Sugar Lump is happy, clean, and exhausted. We also love that the facility is clean, he isn't trapped in a kennel the entire time he is there, and if there are any issues about his behavior or health, the staff calls us immediately. Speaking of the staff ...all of them are consistently friendly and professional. They know Sugar Lump by name and greet us as we enter. We are allowed to call and actually speak to a staff person and watch Sugar Lump play via live video camera access. The icing on the top is that Camp Bow Wow-Charlotte Metro is affordable (especially with Groupons).

Everyone is very friendly and my dog Oreo loves coming here. I feel comfortable leaving my Oreo at bow wow camp and he has lots of fun and comes home tired and ready for a long nap. :)

I have been looking for a place to bring my 7 month old pooch for a month or so now. I started asking around and there didn't seem to be a place I really liked. Camp Bow Wow was one that we discussed often among my peers. I looked into reviews they had posted on their page, and not one of them was negative. This seemed highly unlikely to me so I emailed them. I have yet to receive a response.
Some negative things I have heard were:
Staffing is not sufficient. Injuries went without notice or treatment. Dogs were treated poorly by some staff and obscene language was often observed. Belongings went missing from dogs on several occasions and were not returned.

I know that there is never going to be a perfect business. What concerns me is that I hear these comments being said, but there is no note in the reviews of any sort of unpleasant experience. I would love to be corrected if I am wrong, but I am not sure Camp Bow Wow is the place for my pooch.

Camp Bow Wow is an amazing place to leave your dog! The staff is so nice and my dog loves it there so much that when we pick him i he is sad to leave! One thing that was not that great is some dogs are sick and their owners don t know so when they bring them to Camp they have no idea( honest mistake) but then it gets other dogs sick. My dog recently went to Camp Bow Wow and he came home to sneezing a lot so we took him to the vet and discovered that he has a respiratory infection! So sad... I would recommend taking your dog to the vet before taking them to camp. Also instead of taking your dog to the vet, have a vet at Camp Bow Wow and when you drop them off they get a quick health check up! Still a great place to bring your dog and will still be using Camp Bow Wow!

I recently signed my dog up for Camp Bow Wow and was satisfied with visits until the third time taking her. I took my dog in for daycare, and she did not want to go. I thought she may be having anxiety and was worried so I continuously watched her all day. During the afternoon, I started noticing the dog watcher spray the dogs with a spray bottle (assuming it was mist water) in the face every time the dogs would approach and crowd around her. I noticed this continuous happening over a period of two - three hours. This was incredibly infuriated, especially since it was noticeable that the dogs did not like being sprayed. Dogs can percive this as being a disciplinary actions. Please be ware!

My two pups love going to camp, when I even mention the word "camp" they run to the door ready to get their harnesses on!

Visited this place for puppy lessons and it didn't "wow" me. It was clean and the staff were nice but the class left me feeling underwhelmed.

I have only used Camp Bow Wow a handful of times when we go out of town and love it! Like most of us, my pup is my child and I rest assured that she is in great care here. I love watching her on the cameras and the interaction between the employees and my dog- you can tell they are very genuine people. It is very comforting to know that while I am away my dog is happy and being loved on!

This is a wonderful place! They do not have much play equipment but they have wonderful friendly staff that really cares about each dog. They have a groomer and a trainer.

My dog Rory loves coming to Camp Bow Wow. He is greeted by name every time we come in and he literally runs to the camp "counselors" to play with them. Whenever he boards, he comes home happy and tired from so much playtime. I also love that I can check out what he's doing during the day via webcam. I highly recommend bringing your dog here!

My dog Teddy loves his days at camp! He comes home so happy and so tired from so much fun. The staff is very friendly and always knows Teddy by name. They are always quick to get you checked-in and out and make it easy to schedule other services for your dog while it is there, like a nail trim. I would highly recommend Camp Bow Wow!
