Beautiful place. Service was great. Drinks was good but the food was ok. Was expecting an amazing taste but it was too salty. I explained to the waiter but he said ok. Not sure if he told anyone but he didn t come back with any feedback. But again love then designed of the place.

Quality large and comfortable room. Historic and beautiful building. The bar is gorgeous if expensive. The restaurant has a good breakfast, and the airport shuttle service was friendly and efficient.

It was cheap and location was great... But sporadic hot water availability and a non functional ac.. this is a hotel that has been in decline for a long time. You could tell at one point in time it was amazing bits it's definitely on hospice at the moment.

I never ever again stay at this hotel! When u book on line they will show you the biggest room, you will get a very old and small room. Faucet in the bathroom are backward.. poor lights, and can't turn the light on and off .. this is a hotel from Mexico.. you figure !

We went in and had some drinks. It was a very nice atmosphere. They had a mini band that night on the side. There was still a formal event with many in military uniform, no matter what it was. Real nice dome bar inside, great service, would recommend.

Perhaps one of the most difficult places to explain and comment on. This hotel is a landmark, both in size and location. There truly are some magnificent views from the rooms. Staff can be accommodating but generally unhelpful and More

The airport shuttle never came .. I was standing outside the airport for 2 hrs but the shuttle never turned up. I had an interview dinner and was late for my pre interview ! I tried ringing them many times about the airport shuttle but it always went to the answering machine and nobody really cared for me.. Its just 8 miles away from the airport and after I standing for 2 hrs i ordered a taxi !!

The only food available is from the LA Huerta Cafe, mostly inedible. Had a group meeting here for 2 days, had to apologize to everyone for the entire time. Lunch boxes were sorry, and the evening meal for 25 was a fiasco, even though we were the only people in the restaurant, it took over 90 minutes to get our food, much of which was overcooked to the point of being tasteless. Ran out of baked potatoes, but when we complained about it they somehow found more potatoes! To topic off our portable PA system mysteriously vanished the following morning. Would NOT recommend, we were told the entire time they had just been bought and we're under renovation, but not an excuse for the poor service, food quality, and dilapidated rooms.

This is one very beautiful hotel inside and out! The room was HUGE and appointments were few but nice. Had some difficulty with the heating system, but the staff attended to it quickly and efficiently. We had drinks downstairs in the bar and entertainment area and it was comfortable and the band was a bit loud but good. We would stay there again, especially since just about all of the cultural attractions are within walking distance.

Stayed at this place for my birthday about 2 years ago. Very old even the knobs for the AC are old. I mean if they want to keep it old fashioned that's great but there's other ways. My AC wasn't working all that great. They give you bath and body lotions shampoo and conditioner but I'm highly allergic. Personnel was friendly and great and it was a very classy place but it needs an upgrade. :)

The motor for the A/C burned out in our room and it was very smoky. It seemed like only the technician really cared that we needed a different room and in the end we got a room that had only 1 bed for 4 of us. Overall, good experience beside that scenario.

The Sunday Morning Brunch is the best kept secret in the El Paso Area. The choice of the food is extraordinary from the mexican food to the choose your own Italian sauces and pasta,The seafood is fresh and a delight, a fresh fruit bar, and a Steamship round of Prime Rib. The deserts bar is the best I have ever had. All this extraordinary food and service in a ambiance of of luxury not found in many places in America today. a five star expierence at two star pricing.

The Camino Real was built in 1912, and evokes that art deco charm. The Dome Bar on the main floor is aptly named. Our two Queen bed room was very nice, and a steal at $68/night (with AAA discount)!

This is an overpriced old hotel with terrible service. If you plan on resting, forget it. The pool opens at 8 am and children scream and yell and they do nothing about it. I had the worst experience staying at this hotel.

The pillows are terrible. The noise is terrible. Avoid this hotel if you can..

Great historic upscale hotel in the heart of downtown El Paso. Beautifully remodeled to bring back it's original architectural designs and feel. Amazing dome bar, outside pool and bar and patio on the tenth floor. We had a q corner king room on the fifth floor and it was large with great views of downtown, including parts of San Jacinto Plaza.

Probably one of the worst hotel visits I have ever had. Be prepared to have to cover the ENTIRE price of the room if you cancel. The hotel places a hold on your card of nearly $60 (which I am still waiting to recover) and you have to pay for parking. I would understand paying for parking if there was valet, or a security guard in their garage but there was nothing. Just a bunch of kids skateboarding and hanging out down there. I also upgraded to the executive suit which is an additional $30 for absolutely nothing. I would not recommend this place, you are better off spending your money at Holiday Inn or the Marriott.

Stopped in for an overnight stay while driving through El Paso. Entire lobby was filled with multiple chapters of a motorcycle club. Was a bit intimidating and not what you'd generally care to see walking into a hotel. Elevator and lobby smelled like stale cigarettes and beer. Room was fine but very dated. Hot water not so hot. One more reason to never stop in El Paso.
